But after that, numbing cream is applied and it's honestly not bad. It is more pressure than pain. If you're on the fence, let this be your sign to go for it. Microblading (or ombre brows, in my case) has saved me so much time and given me such a boost in confidence. The procedure does take time and hurts like no other! Microblading is worth it as it can last a few years! The pain from the needle can be crazy! They use a numbing cream, but apparently it didn't work as well as it should for me. No matter how much numbing cream they used, I could feel every prick of the needle. My results never looked as clear and sharp as you see on social media! My results look a little smudged. I don't see the individual "hairs" as you see in the pictures online. However, from afar, my brows do look okay. For some reason, I feel like the healing time much longer for me. You have to let your brows scab over and not pick them! It is so difficult not to want to remove the scabs, but let them fall off on their own! If I had the time and money, I would consider keeping up with microblading.
