WHY I WENT HERE: - eyebrow threading - location; super close to where I now live THE LOOK (FROM THE OUTSIDE): - located in the Loehmann's Plaza (the plaza where Save Mart is) off of Fair Oaks Blvd and Munroe St - Jeet's threading services are actually located inside the salon called Hair Forte (next to Noodles and Company on the Fair Oaks Blvd part of the plaza) THE LOOK (FROM THE INSIDE): - full fledged hair salon - thankfully Jeet's chair is on the right hand side right behind the front counter CUSTOMER SERVICE: - I appreciate businesses like this one that have enabled the "Request an Appointment" option on their Yelp page because it makes it extremely easy to ask for quotes, make an appointment, etc. directly with the business when you may not have the time or ability to make phone calls for whatever reason - my initial interaction via Yelp messaging was with Harjit K to book my appointment; clear, concise, super easy to do so - upon entering the salon, I was greeted by who I believe is Jeet, asked to sign in (name, service(s) requested, phone number) and proceeded to sit in the seat to get my eyebrows done - I'm not typically one to fuss over a mini consultation, and Jeet started on my eyebrows right away - the small talk was pleasant and I will say she did the most GENTLE threading I've ever experienced, which was nice - the results itself were acceptable to me but not outstanding; yes my brows were cleaned up from some of the growth after my last eyebrow threading elsewhere weeks prior, but it wasn't as clean or sharp of lines as I've been accustomed to that give me that feel-good feeling - Jeet asked for me to put my name and phone number into her phone, which I did (I think it's for easier access to her availability and whatnot, which is fine by me) - she put some aloe on my freshly threaded eyebrows and then gave me a stamp card for future visits - she informed me that she accepts cash and card and I just went ahead and gave her cash; from older Yelp photos indicating the price list was $12, she informed me it's actually $14 now OVERALL: - pricing is a bit steep, but I would rather thread my eyebrows than ever go back to waxing them - I can't beat the location in comparison to where I live, it's sooo close! - I might try other places to see which ones I like best since moving back to Sacramento, but I'll always have Jeet's to fall back on if anything read more

Felt entitled to just place cotton balls straight on my body as she was threading without asking instead of using a perfectly good tray one foot away. This olace is located near a Yogurt shop and Jamba juice. It's inside a salon, so you can get your hair done after if you'd like! Unfortunately, I bought a Groupon before I made an appointment. Before coming in, I saw her Yelp reviews and her customers seemed to be really happy with her work so I gave it a try. I made a same day appointment at 11 and got there 10 minutes late (whoops). She just had a customer sit on the chair when I arrived which was totally understandable, so I waited about 25 minutes as she worked on another customers eyebrows, which I didn't mind, because again, I was late. When she was doing my eyebrows, she kind of just started threading. She finished on both brows half of the time her previous customer took. So now I'm guessing its because she paid in full. When I looked at mine, it was uneven, i even had her try to fix it but the left side was to round and the right side had more structure. So I was pretty disappointed.. but I guess that's what you get for using Groupon! Lol read more
