THE MOST TERRIBLE SHELLAC I've EVER GOT. All bubbles on my nails and they came off after a week. Also no proper manicure. And they're super expensive. I won't go back and I won't recommend it. I hate to give it a 1 Star but my shellac, it started to peel the next day. I have been getting my nails done in shellac for 10 years so I could tell it was because the nail was not properly prepped.I do not work with my hands or did anything in the two days to cause such peeling. I'm just very disappointed because I wanted to like this place but such a waste of money :( read more

I guess that's obvious by now LOL But seriously , this is a gorgeous nails salon n waxing place that I seriously can't get enough, besides my nail technician ( Hannah ) it's the sweetest person I ever met n she will do almost anything to please your needs. Just want to state my appreciation n devotion to Hannah n LIV bliss nails salon. I have my holiday app already set up for dec 10th, since I leave the country on the 15th off to Brazil . I went there today to get my eyebrows threaded and the lady did not know what she was doing. She wasn't threading the hair off she was barely touching me and I didn't feel the pull of the hairs at all. Then she basically used tweezers to tweeze my eyebrow. Not what I was paying for! When she tried to start the next one she took out the tweezers again and stopped her and said I wanted threading not tweezing. I left the room and complained to the receptionist who after talking to manager wanted to charge me $10 dollars for getting one eyebrow done when the whole service was supposed to be $15. I was very upset and told her that it was ridiculous that they would think about charging me for a service that was never completed and done properly in the first place. She claimed that they were "willing" to do the service which is why I was being charged. After I told her I was gonna write a review she said fine forget it. Awful experience. Booked for 11 am. Was running a bit late. They called me 11:03 and I said I am on my way a few min away. Walked in 11:10. Was told I am "you are late we will not take you" and they took a walk-in instead in front of my face. I have a small kid and I explained it took a lot of me to arrange an appointment and come from another city as everything in lockdown except Oakville. I was there literally they took another person without appointment instead right in front of my face and ignored me. No customer respect, do not go their unless you want to be treated in an awful way. read more

Went in this past summer for a mani/pedi, walked out with the worst nail service I've ever gotten. Pedicure was rough and unpleasant but that's not the worst of it The nail tech I was with wanted to give me airbrush French nails which I agreed with, but then proceeded to clean her dirty airbrush in front of me with WINDEX!! Not 75% alcohol, which in industry standard. She also sprayed Windex on me then said sorry.. it took her about 10 minutes. I was very unimpressed by this point. Then I accidentally hit my nail on the dryer and she refused to fix it Walked out with air bubbles in my nails and a pretty bad airbrush fade. I was expecting to pay $50-$65 and it was $75. If I could give them a zero rating I would! First off nail colour selection is very limited. My pedicure beyond a doubt the worst EVER! The sole of my feet were very dry and cracked. I advised her and she said don't worry I will scrub them good. Her personality was absolutely horrible to begin with. Doing my manicure my toes were getting dry. By the time we were done and I went to put in my socks my heels were dry and cracked. I told her and she said. It's ok put Vaseline on ur heels every night! I said no I'm talking about now!!!!! Never left a salon with dry hands and feet!!! Absolutely horrible!!!! read more

Great drop in service, usually only a 10 min wait. HOWEVER...my first pedicure resulted in blood (heal scraped too deep). 2 out of 3 Brazilian wax treatments resulted in burns...yes, burns! After the second time I was burned (in THE most sensitive of areas) I went back the next day to talk to the manager. She claimed the affected area was a result of an 'allergic reaction'...not the case since I've had wax there before without a 'reaction'. I did get a full refund for the treatment, but I will NOT be getting that treatment at that location ever again. read more

Almost all of my nails beds have cuts from when she put on the nails. Horrible service. Clearly saw the cuts she made but did nothing to help or talk to me. Way to aggressive. Think twice about spending 50+ for this. Find another place!! read more

Today I had one of the roughest manicures I've her had. She made my nails bleed and was very unapologetic about it. My mom stopped going here a while ago because they were so rough. I hope they are disinfecting the tools properly with the amount of bleeding going on there. read more

I would not recommend going to the nail salon. I got a bio gel set here and I have never been in so much pain. The woman shaved my nails down to the point of stinging and burning, and that was before I put my fingers under the UV light. She only did one small application of the gel and didn't have any bio gel colours. I was the only person in this nail salon and I now know why. It was a waste of money. 50 dollars for a clear set, with a 10 dollar Addition of shellac. Which they don't tell you up from. 0/10 experience and the quality was garbage. If you are looking to have a nice relaxing experience DO NOT go to Liv Nail Salon. read more

This place is great ! Every time I do my nails here they do not disappoint! One thing I don't like is they charge you to take off shellac, many other salons don't do that so it can get a bit pricey . read more

I wouId warn my friends against going here. I came in to get my acrylics off and they did a terrible job. My nails were bleeding by the end because they were so rough when trying to pull them off. I now have holes in my nails down to my skin.When I was getting the fake nails taken off I was saying "ow" over and over again and pulling my hand away. The girl doing my nails completely ignored me and continued to do what she was doing, even though my nails had deep cuts in them. By the end my nail was bleeding and she still didn't say anything. She then proceeded to put a base coat on my nails so that she could put polish on them. As soon as she put the polish on my damaged nails I said "ow" and pulled my hand away. I told her it was hurting a lot because there were cuts on my nails, but she continued painting my nails! I had to take my hand away and convince her that I didn't want any nail polish on my nails because they were burning so much from awful job she did taking off my acrylics. After I was done with my horrible nail appointment I watched as the girl put the tools she was using on my nails back in a bin with a bunch of other nail tools. She had cut me with those tools and I had bled on them a bit, and then she put them back to use on someone else! That is so unsanitary! When I went back in to complain, the manager was getting her nails done and didn't even get up to talk to me. I showed her what happened and she said that it was my fault because my nails were too thin and getting acrylics was bad for them, but only some of my nails were damaged, so that doesn't make sense. She then said that it wasn't her fault because the problem was that someone didn't put them on right, but I had gotten them put on in that same nail bar. After I told her that she said that it wasn't her that put them on, so someone else made the mistake. She wasn't accepting responsibility for what had happened for a long time. Finally she gave me a gift card with store credit (which I won't be using). The experience was terrible and now I'm left with gross bandaged nails. Not impressed!!!!!!!! read more

Went for a classic mani-pedi, woman had the water literally boiling hot, while she insisted it wasn't hot even though she hadn't tested it. Asked if they had acrylic which I was told they did, sat there for 15 minutes while she started to do gel before asking her to stop because it wasn't what I asked, apparently there was some miscommunication. I wasn't able to wash my hands after she filed them. I wasn't given a hot towel or lotion after my nails were done. Didn't even a cushion under my arms was just resting on the glass. Nails chipped almost right away, bubbles in nail polish. Would not recommend. read more

I loved coming to this salon but was disappointed on my last visit when my cuticle was cut causing bleeding during a pedicure. Continued to bleed most of the night and very painful. Hoping I don't get an infection??? My manicurist was busy answering the phone during my pedi--maybe unfocused? Too bad won't be back. read more

This salon is terrible, the lady that was doing my nails cut my cuticle and it was bleeding like crazy! When I was done there was dried up nail polish all around my cuticles! Money down the drain for sure!!! For sure I will not come here again! read more

Very disappointed in the service and quality of this place. Having had a good first time experience, we went back the second time. We went for a French Manicure. They both pushed for Shelac which we declined politely four times. They insisted that their Shelac will last 2 weeks and our nails won't be affected, after I told her my nails didn't handle so well with Shelac at three different times, so I gave up on Shelac. They pushed for pedicures which we also declined politely. We felt the the manicures were very rushed even though there was only 1 other client in the salon. I wasn't happy with the FM, but I refrained from commenting. When I paid, she charged me $25 as to $22 which was printed on the 'menu' displayed at the entrance. She didn't believe me so I walked with her to the 'menu'. Then she told me the price has changed. Fine, but I am paying what is advertised on her price list, she wasn't happy. She still charged me an extra $1 for the buffer filing. I didn't know there was such a charge, but I didn't argue with her. It wasn't about the money, but the principle of it. I hate surprises! Overall, poor customer service, declined in quality. As a result, we will not be returning. read more
