First time at this nail bar, it was a clean space and i paid 40 for a combo with no polish was around 30 mins, wasn't busy at all maybe two or three customers when I walked in. Really shoddy work, my nails look and feel horrible. Not sure how it was filed and cut, but my toe nails hurt in the corners. I'm posting a pic of my finger nails, they never had this much skin come off. They dipped my fingers in a tiny bowl with cold water for 3 mins and used some cheap products. **Although highly rated on google- most the reviewers have no more than 1 or two reviews.**

I'm a regular customer here and so far I don't have issues. Lynn is so professional when it comes to handling my ingrown toenail's.

So I've had my problems here but the owners have always come through to rectify the situation. I gave them 5 stars last time because they were kind enough to give me a free service after a terrible experience. They left me sitting with some crackle off nail polish remover. (Essentially paint thinner) for AN HOUR. Even though I had an appointment and was with a friend also getting her nails done. Problem is if you're not seeing Scarlett there's no point in coming here. I've been coming here for months on end. I saw Scarlett a lot and she's great but I started seeing Dustin and he's crazy rude. He's usually pretty good at what he does but he's just got a bad attitude. He's sloppy when the owners aren't there which is the main problem. For example I've had crooked nails with him. Once I went in for a full manicure. I got no hot towel no lotion no massage nothing. I asked him if lotion was part of the service. He looked at me pointed at the lotion bottle and told me to do it myself. I was shocked. The last time I went I discreetly asked if I could see someone else but I was pawned off to Dustin again. Also their prices are ALWAYS inconsistent. I called in yesterday for a shellac polish change and removal of a few tips (some of my nails had broken before last mani) I was told $25 by the man on the phone. I was like ok $25 are you sure? I come in and another dude sits me down (also not very nice because the owners weren't there) and he goes oh it's $30. I was like what?? I was so annoyed by the flip flopping that I walked out I messaged the business via Instagram like I usually do to book appointments to let them know what happened. They said they would be in touch with the technician to get the fill story. They haven't written back yet. Will need to find a new nail spot that's more consistent :(

TLDR: Dieu is consistently meticulous. Will book again with him. Details: Did a walk-in with my friend on a Wednesday night, the place seemed reasonably busy (good sign?) but could accommodate our 2 shellac manicures. The shellac color choices are enormous, and they also do nail design for an extra (yet reasonable) price. This I like very much. We went for single color -- me pink, my friend black. The staff speak primarily Vietnamese, so you may want to book with someone who speaks English if you want to communicate directly with them. I had a non-English speaker work on me at first, but Scarlett had to jump in and take over when I couldn't communicate to the lady I wanted my nails trimmed as short as possible. Scarlett was very friendly and did an ok job, but did cause a mild case of bleeding on one finger while trimming cuticles, which she immediately stopped with antiseptics. She would also pause for a bit to talk to other staff or customers, which for me was a bit annoying. At the end, the color was pretty and shiny and all but there were a bit of air bubbles, and I'm a perfectionist. At this point, I would have decided not to come back despite how I'm paying much more at my current go-to nail salon. BUT!!! Scarlett caught me staring at my nails and asked if there was anything she could fix, and then asked her colleague Dieu (hope I spelled this right) who was working on my friend to help me when he was done. My friend and I both had a great experience with Dieu, as he did my friend's nails perfectly the first time and fixed all mine's flaws. My nails ended up pretty and super shiny and as if they've been done perfectly the first time. Also, Scarlett said they have 1-week warranty if anything happens to the shellac nails. I hope I won't have to use this, but for those who care -- FYI. 3 stars for the initial quality (but for the $30 it's okay -- my current salon just spoils me I guess), but 5 stars for the attentive follow-up and the fixes. I will come again, but will be sure to book with Dieu for his meticulous work on my friend and me.

Can't recommend this place enough! I usually go to Pacific mall to get my nails done but decided to do them in downtown yesterday! Thalia did my nails and she was very attentive!! It took 1 hour just to prep my nails, which I really appreciate because normally other places will just spend 10-15 mins prepping them! This is now my go to place whenever I'm in downtown! Also staff are VERY nice and approachable! Thank you Natural Nail Bar and Thalia!

My nails are absolutely perfect, ask for Tina she does the thinnest smoothest shellac ever. Joe is also great!

This place is a hidden GEM. I saw Tina and she did the thinnest and smoothest shellac on my fingers. I would highly recommend her! She's good at what she does and very charismatic. Joe did my shellac pedicure and really took his time to make sure everything was perfect, very gentle. Will be back!

I always goes here for my manicures. Hands down the best nail salon in downtown. The staffs are friendly, and my nails are absolutely gorgeous. 100% recommended.

I have been getting my nails done for many years, but the experience I have every time I come to a natural nail bar is beyond professional. Kayden my nail tech is cheerful and kind it's like is come hang out with my friend l. Oh and my nails are always on point l. U recommend this shop every chance I get. If you want great quality and professionalism run not walk straight to Natural nail bar.

Rea responded promptly and scheduled my sessions over a couple months. I am ecstatic at the results. Rea is the best around and offers the best pricing for her services. I never knew I could be hair free and it is doing wonders for my self esteem. Thank You Rea! If you have ever wanted to be rid of unwanted hair growth, try electrolysis, it's the only permanent solution and you are worth it!

After delays due to covid restrictions, I was finally able to see Rea in early March. I also…read morerecommended 2 people to her as well. I understood her policy was very strict and for the two appointments I had, I arrived on time. I was really excited because I do believe she's great at what she does and she specializes in black skin, which is a plus. A couple days ago I was alerted at work that my covid rapid test had come back positive. I was asked to take a follow up PCR test then go home. I knew I had my appointment on Monday, so I gave Rea notice. She requires 48hrs, I gave 24hrs. Bear in mind, it is Sunday afternoon and I've just been told that I've tested positive for covid. I explained that to Rea and she immediately informed me that I am to etransfer her the amount for my "late" cancellation ($195.00) or she will cancel all my appointments. I was taken aback and was very put off by this response. I respect the policy of any business I frequent, however I strongly belive that sensitivity, tact and compassion are pillars in customer service and in that moment, Rea was deeply lacking in those traits. Fortunately she was able to cover an hour of the appointment and told me to send her $65 instead or she will cancel the rest of my appointments. Because I was still willing to move forward with her despite insensitivity, I e-transferred her the amount. But after much thought, I decided that I am not interested in doing business with someone who cannot understand that in uncertain times like this - life happens. It's unfortunate because I was really looking forward to finally being hair free after struggling with this for so long. However "good work", as she calls it, means nothing without sensitivity and tact. P.S. I'd like to note that she requires payment for missed appointments or late cancelations because that means she loses money - which is fair. But I'd ALSO like to note that as a client, I'm paying for gas/transit, parking, my time, as well as paying for the actual service. I'm not requesting a free service or special favors. And although she has "no exceptions". I think exceptions should be made for Covid. I even told her I could send her a copy of my results to prove I was being truthful, because I was that serious about moving forward with her.

I get the same procedure and the same amount of units every year. I decided to try this place out since they were offering a promotional pricing at the time. After I received my injections, I waited a month with no visible result what so ever. Mind you, I know how much of a significant difference this procedure makes for my jaw line, as I severely grind my teeth at night and tend to overproduce my masseter muscle. Hence why I get the injection every 8 months or so. I don't know if the injector was not experienced or if the Botox was mixed with saline water to compensate for the promotional pricing but I would never go back here again.
