This review is for a lash lift by Dessi. This was my FIRST ever lash lift I came in for an appt on Saturday 9.12.26 Dessi lacked customer service skills. 0/5. She said are you Samya? She did not introduce herself, until I asked her name. She did not ask if I have been here before, how was my day, nada. She must have been having a bad day or this was her first job. Either way training in customer service needs to be addressed. The lash lift: 0/5 The lift was actually very pretty right after she was done, although as soon an my lashes were dry, and I made it home. I realized how horrendous they are. My right eye is soo curled that it sticks to my lid and it is bent at the tip. They have been extremely over curled or over processed. The manager Casandra has issued a refund . Please note that Dessi is a JR lash artist. I was unaware of their tiers of lash artist. If I had I would have known, I would've asked for a senior level artist to start. Overall: I will NEVER return here, my nail techs daughter used to work for this company and said she would never recommend this place either. The reason for 2 stars is because the Manager made it right and refunded me & the vibe of the salon was aesthetically pleasing. read more

A few years ago this place was great so I decided to go to them again. I was paired up with Shay, she is very nice but the next day half my lashes were gone on 1 eye. I called and they offered a 15 min service to fill in as much as possible, nice concept but very inconvenient to have to go in again. I was paired up with another girl and she was great, no fall out but couldn't go back to her because of our schedules so they paired me with another and she was also great, no fall out. I had to reschedule with her due to my schedule and nothing was available. I asked to be paired up with someone else and made it very clear I did not want Shay again. Guess who I was paired with? I gave it a go thinking maybe it was a bad day or something. That was last Friday, it is currently Saturday.. a week and a day from my fill and my lashes are gone. I canceled my upcoming appointment. I'd rather go somewhere that'll do my lashes right. read more

Unprofessional Experience - Not Recommended I had a very disappointing experience at LivBay Lash in Henderson, NV with lash tech Briana S. From the moment I walked in, there was no greeting or acknowledgment, which immediately made the atmosphere feel cold and unwelcoming. Briana did not take the time to explain the lash set she was going to apply, nor did she ask any clarifying questions about my preferences or expectations. There was no consultation or professional communication, and throughout the entire appointment, her attitude was extremely dry, with little to no conversation or effort to create a comfortable client experience. In a service-based industry, especially one as personal as lash extensions, professionalism and clear communication are essential and unfortunately, that was lacking here. I highly do not recommend booking with Briana S. and hope LivBay Lash takes this feedback seriously to ensure better service moving forward. read more

This is an update to my previous review. Cassandra the store manager gave me a call and made sure to book another appointment for me where the $75 I was charged would be applied and also gave me an additional $25 off due to the inconvenience. Although I didn't get to have my lashes done for Christmas I truly appreciate them reaching out and making the situation right. I gave 3 stars not because of the service, my lash tech was Stella and she did a good job, was friendly and accommodating. I can't give 5 stars due to the retention of my lashes in only a 24hr period. My appointment was Thursday 12/26 and today Friday 12/27 I've already lost a considerable amount of lashes in a 24hr period. I didn't get my lashes wet and I followed all care instructions. I believe the retention issue is not due to lack of skill but more environment, we live in the desert and due to lack of humidity the lash extensions just fall right out. I've seen many reviews of other customers having issues with retention. I used to go to a place that had humidifiers running in every lash techs area and it helped soooooo much with the retention on my lashes. I think if they fixed this small issue and added humidifiers to the business it could be a great establishment. As for now I'm gonna give it one more chance for a fill since I just paid $125 for a full set but if the retention isn't better this next time I think I'll have to give up on livbay lash for good. I have been a client of LivBay since 2020 and I've never had an issue that warranted a review until this past Monday, 11/11. I scheduled for a mixed fill with Lehlani that needed to be moved to another tech due to an emergency. No worries, I completely get it, things happen. I was moved to Brooklyn's book instead. I arrive to the salon, check in and wait to be taken back. Brooklyn comes to grab me, says hi but then turns her back and introduces herself with her back turned to me, completely uninterested with any interaction she may have with me. Little did I know this would be a precursor to what would follow. Once in her room we do the initial consult, mostly talk of up charge services, I'll admit I went a little longer between my fills than I should have so I understand the up charge for it. She asks what length, curl type and style I like and we got started. The conversation and quality that came out of this appointment can only be described as uncomfortable, lackluster and disturbing at best. As a beauty provider of 10 years myself, I do not find it ethical to talk about touchy subjects when servicing a guest for the first time. I tend to tune out such conversations or redirect them but it's hard when you're lying down with your eyes tapped shut. Brooklyn did not explicitly say anything political but with the statements she was making they were explicitly political leaning. I can get over that, everyone has their view points even if they are rooted in hatred and ignorance. She went on to talk about the business and how the front desk doesn't do their jobs properly. She's not wrong. Front desk is terrible and could use some serious work like maybe hiring people that have basic reading comprehension skills, or that know how to properly talk to guests when they enter a salon, or maybe a hint of a personality would be nice. She also mentioned that she doesn't like doing lashes and that she doesn't need the job. Ok then quit? Because the quality I was left with REALLY reflects your desire, or lack there of I should say, to continue on in this field. The lashes themselves were placed either on top of my eyelid like a blanket or so close to my lash line that they could be considered conjoined twins. She didn't remove the lashes that were grown out and needed to come off. One of my eyes was worse than the other, it felt like she rushed them and the quality shows that. The glue was thick and clumpy and I'm surprised it even cured. I could FEEL her rushing the service under the guise of "front desk just told me I have another client I didn't know about". I get it I did come in with a little less than 50% of my lashes so it takes extra time. But she also made me wait for my appointment, not by a lot, 10 minutes max maybe? Not to mention the sniffling and coughing with such close proximity to my eyeballs and face was jarring. Anyways. Service was finished, I pay, tip and leave. The next day, 11/12, they DID NOT feel ok. They were sore, uncomfortable, itchy and my eyelids were red and SWOLLEN. (I am not allergic to the glue or anything) That's when I noticed that the lash extensions themselves had fused and become one with my skin. Brushing them hurt, blinking hurt, moving my eyes in general hurt. Now, above I know I mentioned that front desk leaves a lot to be desired, but I will hand it to them they handled my text to them in the best manner they could have and got me in with a consult and quick fix. I give Areli props for doing the best she could with the challenge she was given and took off the ones that were bothering me the most. Which leads us to 11/15. These lashes were still hurting and causing my eyes to swell from them being conjoined to my skin. So I once again texted the salon and requested the person I normally see (Kalyn). And she saved my lashes and my skin from being severely damaged. Areli and Kalyn are god sent and Brooklyn should just quit and find something else to do since she doesn't need the job and leaves people with bad quality and the potential for damage. read more

My lash experience here was not the best at all. Originally I booked a mixed lash set with lash artist Stella. I received a text about an hour before my appointment that Stella would not be there and the assigned me another lash artist, Rochelle. I told her I wanted a mixed set. After 2 hours of her working on my lashes she said she was done and immediately I didn't like them. After looking at them I asked her if she could add more fans because they looked like a classic set. She added more, super quickly because she had another client after me & all the extra fans she added fell out. This was my first and last time here. I feel like I wasted $150! read more

They are quick to make an appt for you but when it comes to an issue and management is supposed to reach out you get nothing. I've followed up with them and 3 days later still nothing. My first time here was 11/4 and I've been back 3 more times in hopes it will be better, the lashes do not last more than a week (last time it was only 3 days). I should have listen to their reviews on google where most customers says their lashes fall out in less than a week. I've had lashes for 5 years I know how to care for them. Wow! Where do I even start. From booking an appointment with Stella and driving there. To only have them call me when I am a few minutes down the street, telling me that my lash artist " isn't going to be there"...so, why was she in the back hanging out when I got there? Then, having them book me with probably the least experienced lash artist I've ever been to (Preseley) Followed by them giving me a hard time about wanting to come in to have them fixed. To having multiple appointments canceled (last minute & back to back) and going to another lash artist (Briana not BRI) recommended, from the artist that canceled. Resulting in me having her do the most giant, BS clusters I've ever seen in my life! Yanking out numerous natural lashes (pics below) I literally have to buy lash serum to grow my lashes back now. That was 3/13. fast forward to seven days later to my most recent experience on 3/20. Going in for a mega fill and having almost my entire right eye, completely filled with grown out Lashes. And, the majority of lashes that were new placed, have fallen out. For a place that has a school/class attached to their name. Pretty embarrassing for the quality of work that they put out. It's terrible to think that they're teaching more people to do low quality work like this. Oh! And if you decide to cancel your appointment online. Make sure you screenshot that you canceled it on time.they tried to charge me for canceling my appointment. Because they said I did it last minute. No, I did it well over six hours before my appointment. Luckily, I have screenshots. For everything! Shady AF!!!! I have been going here for quite some time. But I will be looking for another place to get my lashes done. UPDATE: after calling today and speaking with the front desk. They told me I could come in for a "free 15 minute appointment or I could get half price off of a 30 minute fill" wow! Thank you so much for offering me to spend more money at your establishment, to fix the issue caused by your crap artists. Seeing as though it is a Saturday and I need my lashes done. I decided to begrudgingly pay for the 30 minute fill. Luckily, my girl Bri (NOT BRIANA) was available. She is literally a godsend! She fixed my lashes and they look great! I honestly thought I was going to have to remove all of them. If I ever decide to step foot into this establishment again, it will be to only see her. 10/10! Before my review I have to express a CRITICAL concern that I opened my eyes to a lash tech taking pictures of me without asking - and with my profile already marked an NO CONSENT for photos. (Not to mention the work she was photographing was primarily not hers as it was a 30 min mini-fill) . I will be reaching out further with the issue of photo consent during my appointment. After about three years, and thousands of dollars. I've decided I will not be going back to this lash salon. I've previously provided a stellar review and am disappointed that this business hasn't been able to consistently meet expectations. After a recent appointment where I needed, a received a mega fill, I needed to come back the next day because a large fan came out and it was super noticeable. I called and they said no problem and to come in for a complimentary 15 min fix. I've never actually taken advantage of this service because It's usually no big deal. They gave me the time she would be able to take me and 45min later, when I arrived the front desk person said they sent her home because "they didn't think I was coming". To make it more exciting the person at reception initially attempted to brush off my concern and complaint until I very CLEARLY pointed out the reality that this was a poor decision and thus a poor experience- simple. I tipped the person who fixed the lash, thanked her and left. I went ahead and scheduled a mega fill yesterday, a week later, just because I know my last fill was more challenging as I lost a lot of lashes on one eye. I show up and they say my lash tech is not there. And no one informed me prior. They also said I had no preferred tech on my profile, my preferred tech is who I booked with and that is an internal issue. I was then given a myriad of poorly formed excuses as they attempted to turn my 1 hour appointment into a 2 hour appointment with a slower technician. Clients time matters too!!! Too much variation in tech skill level. Receptionist group seems to be the largest consistent issue....but that's because leadership allows it to be that way. read more

I am not a regular client of livbay. I used to be until my lash artist left. I needed a last minute fill because I was going out of town and decided I didn't want to wait until I came back to get my lashes filled. When I saw my lash artist was booked, I thought I'll go to livbay since they have a lot of artists and more availability. It was just a quick fill so what the heck? Wrong. I had an appointment with Brianna and while she was nice, she was so aggressive. She pulled my lashes, ripped tape off my lids and face real hard and slammed her tools down by my ear. At the end of the appointment she barely dried my lashes, only when I said my eyes were burning she dried them a little more. I got to the car and saw all my lashes clumped together. I couldn't even get the spoolie through without pulling out lashes or getting it stuck. Lashes are supposed to look light and pretty, not like I got false strips and used too much glue. The next day they just continued to come out when I attempt to brush them straight since they have so much glue on them. Horrible horrible horrible. Save your money and go anywhere else, or do some major research of which tech they are scheduling you with. read more

Pros: they respond quickly. They are efficient in booking your appointment. I love how they run their business. The atmosphere is lovely. Everyone is friendly. My lash artist is a sweetheart. The vibe is great. Con: my lashes looked fine while I was at LivBay (it was kind of dark and I just woke up from a nap because I was THAT relaxed) when I got to my car, I wanted to cry because they looked uneven and unprofessionally done. The lashes were far from my lash line as if there were growth and there were gaps in between. I've been getting lashes for several years so I know what to compare them to. I told her I needed to speak with her manager because I was out of town until Monday and if there was anything else they could do since I wasn't aware that my lashes would fall out the next day. After my last girl had some issues at her salon, I was desperate to find a new place. Lashes make me feel like a rockstar when I wake up and to be honest, have me wearing even less makeup! They give a boost of confidence. I was so happy when I found House of Sassy (Sassy Lashes) on Yelp! Their reviews were great and it seemed like they really knew their stuff. I booked my appointment online and within minutes had a voicemail from them and a text message. It was so easy to set up the appointment. If you have previous lashes on, they have you take a photo so they can figure out if you need a fill or a new set. They told me I'd probably need a new set, which I totally understood cuz I had about three lashes left haha. When I arrived, checking in was super easy. The studio is gorgeous and super cute. They also have a lash boutique next to them where artists can purchase supplies if they want which is pretty amazing. Each room has a recliner which let me tell you, is the most AMAZING thing. I felt so comfortable and relaxed. I ended up booking with Anna and I'm so glad I got her. Wow. I have literally never met anyone so educated on lashes. She was so incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and sweet. I appreciated that she took the time to even educate me about my lashes and what I needed to do to keep them going longer.
