    This is an update to my previous review. Cassandra the store manager gave me a call and made sure to book another appointment for me where the $75 I was charged would be applied and also gave me an additional $25 off due to the inconvenience. Although I didn't get to have my lashes done for Christmas I truly appreciate them reaching out and making the situation right. I gave 3 stars not because of the service, my lash tech was Stella and she did a good job, was friendly and accommodating. I can't give 5 stars due to the retention of my lashes in only a 24hr period. My appointment was Thursday 12/26 and today Friday 12/27 I've already lost a considerable amount of lashes in a 24hr period. I didn't get my lashes wet and I followed all care instructions. I believe the retention issue is not due to lack of skill but more environment, we live in the desert and due to lack of humidity the lash extensions just fall right out. I've seen many reviews of other customers having issues with retention. I used to go to a place that had humidifiers running in every lash techs area and it helped soooooo much with the retention on my lashes. I think if they fixed this small issue and added humidifiers to the business it could be a great establishment. As for now I'm gonna give it one more chance for a fill since I just paid $125 for a full set but if the retention isn't better this next time I think I'll have to give up on livbay lash for good. (I've been coming here off and on for many years, they were sassy lashes when I first started coming)

    I have been a client of LivBay since 2020 and I've never had an issue that warranted a review until this past Monday, 11/11. I scheduled for a mixed fill with Lehlani that needed to be moved to another tech due to an emergency. No worries, I completely get it, things happen. I was moved to Brooklyn's book instead. I arrive to the salon, check in and wait to be taken back. Brooklyn comes to grab me, says hi but then turns her back and introduces herself with her back turned to me, completely uninterested with any interaction she may have with me. Little did I know this would be a precursor to what would follow. Once in her room we do the initial consult, mostly talk of up charge services, I'll admit I went a little longer between my fills than I should have so I understand the up charge for it. She asks what length, curl type and style I like and we got started. The conversation and quality that came out of this appointment can only be described as uncomfortable, lackluster and disturbing at best. As a beauty provider of 10 years myself, I do not find it ethical to talk about touchy subjects when servicing a guest for the first time. I tend to tune out such conversations or redirect them but it's hard when you're lying down with your eyes tapped shut. Brooklyn did not explicitly say anything political but with the statements she was making they were explicitly political leaning. I can get over that, everyone has their view points even if they are rooted in hatred and ignorance. She went on to talk about the business and how the front desk doesn't do their jobs properly. She's not wrong. Front desk is terrible and could use some serious work like maybe hiring people that have basic reading comprehension skills, or that know how to properly talk to guests when they enter a salon, or maybe a hint of a personality would be nice. She also mentioned that she doesn't like doing lashes and that she doesn't need the job. Ok then quit? Because the quality I was left with REALLY reflects your desire, or lack there of I should say, to continue on in this field. The lashes themselves were placed either on top of my eyelid like a blanket or so close to my lash line that they could be considered conjoined twins. She didn't remove the lashes that were grown out and needed to come off. One of my eyes was worse than the other, it felt like she rushed them and the quality shows that. The glue was thick and clumpy and I'm surprised it even cured. I could FEEL her rushing the service under the guise of "front desk just told me I have another client I didn't know about". I get it I did come in with a little less than 50% of my lashes so it takes extra time. But she also made me wait for my appointment, not by a lot, 10 minutes max maybe? Not to mention the sniffling and coughing with such close proximity to my eyeballs and face was jarring. Anyways. Service was finished, I pay, tip and leave. The next day, 11/12, they DID NOT feel ok. They were sore, uncomfortable, itchy and my eyelids were red and SWOLLEN. (I am not allergic to the glue or anything) That's when I noticed that the lash extensions themselves had fused and become one with my skin. Brushing them hurt, blinking hurt, moving my eyes in general hurt. Now, above I know I mentioned that front desk leaves a lot to be desired, but I will hand it to them they handled my text to them in the best manner they could have and got me in with a consult and quick fix. I give Areli props for doing the best she could with the challenge she was given and took off the ones that were bothering me the most. Which leads us to 11/15. These lashes were still hurting and causing my eyes to swell from them being conjoined to my skin. So I once again texted the salon and requested the person I normally see (Kalyn). And she saved my lashes and my skin from being severely damaged. Areli and Kalyn are god sent and Brooklyn should just quit and find something else to do since she doesn't need the job and leaves people with bad quality and the potential for damage.

    Wow! Where do I even start. From booking an appointment with Stella and driving there. To only have them call me when I am a few minutes down the street, telling me that my lash artist " isn't going to be there"...so, why was she in the back hanging out when I got there? Then, having them book me with probably the least experienced lash artist I've ever been to (Preseley) Followed by them giving me a hard time about wanting to come in to have them fixed. To having multiple appointments canceled (last minute & back to back) and going to another lash artist (Briana not BRI) recommended, from the artist that canceled. Resulting in me having her do the most giant, BS clusters I've ever seen in my life! Yanking out numerous natural lashes (pics below) I literally have to buy lash serum to grow my lashes back now. That was 3/13. fast forward to seven days later to my most recent experience on 3/20. Going in for a mega fill and having almost my entire right eye, completely filled with grown out Lashes. And, the majority of lashes that were new placed, have fallen out. For a place that has a school/class attached to their name. Pretty embarrassing for the quality of work that they put out. It's terrible to think that they're teaching more people to do low quality work like this. Oh! And if you decide to cancel your appointment online. Make sure you screenshot that you canceled it on time.they tried to charge me for canceling my appointment. Because they said I did it last minute. No, I did it well over six hours before my appointment. Luckily, I have screenshots. For everything! Shady AF!!!! I have been going here for quite some time. But I will be looking for another place to get my lashes done. UPDATE: after calling today and speaking with the front desk. They told me I could come in for a "free 15 minute appointment or I could get half price off of a 30 minute fill" wow! Thank you so much for offering me to spend more money at your establishment, to fix the issue caused by your crap artists. Seeing as though it is a Saturday and I need my lashes done. I decided to begrudgingly pay for the 30 minute fill. Luckily, my girl Bri (NOT BRIANA) was available. She is literally a godsend! She fixed my lashes and they look great! I honestly thought I was going to have to remove all of them. If I ever decide to step foot into this establishment again, it will be to only see her. 10/10! The sweetest girl and her work is fantastic!

    They are quick to make an appt for you but when it comes to an issue and management is supposed to reach out you get nothing. I've followed up with them and 3 days later still nothing. My first time here was 11/4 and I've been back 3 more times in hopes it will be better, the lashes do not last more than a week (last time it was only 3 days). I should have listen to their reviews on google where most customers says their lashes fall out in less than a week. I've had lashes for 5 years I know how to care for them. Don't go here if you want your lashes to last.

    Several fans glued together that ripped my own lashes out when brushed.

    Just moved to the area, Can you do a fill in from another lash artist?

    I used to get my lashes done here, but my eyelids were getting red and irritated. Are there different glues that are used or can be used?

    I would reach out to them! Anna definitely knows her stuff and has mentioned before to me that sometimes it depends on how the lashes are done. They can take preventative measures for anyone with sensitive skin, so I'd definitely reach out!

    Can I buy the lash bath even though I'm not a lash artist?

    Yes, you can purchase it with the receptionist. I buy it to take care of my lashes at home.

    Does Sassy Lashes do lash lift and tint, or is it exclusively extensions? If no, can you all privately recommend anywhere for other permanent makeup resources (microblading, etc)?

    Do you have a sensitive lash glue? I had an allergic reaction a couple times to the black dye glue and I was wondering if you had a sensitive glue bc I miss lashes :(

Early this morning I woke up barely able to open my eyes. Most of my lashes had fallen put and I was experiencing a severe allergic reaction. It was about two hours until they could fit me in to remove my lashes. At first the manager pulled me aside and tried to minimize my reaction, claiming it was dust that somehow caused this. After consulting with an outside lash tech, she said that the only thing this could be was expired products since I've had lashes for two years and never experienced this before. Finally, the manager conceded that it was a bad reaction but would only offer a new set, no refunds, as she stated she didn't have money to pay her staff without my payment essentially. At the end of the day, my lash removal was free but my $125 was apparently my contribution to their apparently thin margins. I think it's unfortunate that this happened to me, I'm just happy to not have lost eyesight over this fiasco. If I were you, I wouldn't risk it here. They seem to be cutting corners with (what I assume is) expired products and a slim ability to pay their people despite their high prices set to customers.

I was warmly greeted by two women working and I informed that it was my first time coming to this location that I was referred by a friend. I explained to one of the ladies that was going to be servicing my eyebrows that I wanted a light clean up and tenting done. I was priced for $35. Which was $11 more than what I usually pay for those particular services. But I was in need of a new place because my original brow lady went back to her country. After the service was complete. I was given a mirror to review the work that had been completed, not only were my brows ruined, but it was nothing remotely close of what I asked, for. explained my concerns, frustrations and disappointment and my concern for my brows and the lady began to shape them again by threading them. I explained to her that did not want them thinner. I wanted the tinting corrected because the tenting just seems to be just placed on my brows without any type of shaping and arching. My right brow looks half way decent. The bridge seems to be decently formed, but the tint and the brows tail just seems to be super thin and short. The same thing can be said with my left, except my left brow was completely threaded super uneven and short. Even the bridge is completely uneven from the right. I showed them pictures of what my natural brows and my tinted brows looked like and the look I was trying to achieve with today's services. Instead of working with me, I was told that they've never had any complaints and I was the first one. I told him that I had a right to express my frustrations and asked what could be done. I was told by the other lady working that she would take over and try to fix my brows. I also showed her pictures of my brows without tinting and in their natural shape and with tinting with a little bit of brow filler on them. They apologized and said I could just pay $20 for just the tinting services, so I asked them if they could at least fix the tint on the brows to make both brows even and fuller, since I was now being offered a price discount. The women just continued to state that my brows were fine and there was nothing more they could do. Then things quickly turned when the ladies suddenly became rude and I was told to leave and to return to my original brow lady because they never had any complaints before and they wouldn't be charging me for the service at all. This is was definitely a terrible experience, decision and a mistake on my part for coming.
