It's been years since I've gotten lash extensions but at 9months pregnant, I wanted to treat myself and feel pretty before my baby pops out. The seat-beds were very comfortable (no longer recliners) and a weighted blanket was provided. I booked with an apprentice, Alexandria. She was super friendly, calming, and gentle. After my service, I was given a brush to maintain and a bottle of water from the front desk. I think the price for an apprentice session has raised $10 since I last been, but I still think it's well worth it in comparison to other places. Haven't had my lashes done in a long time and originally scheduled for a classic full set but changed my mind in the chair to get hybrid but went home feeling regretful. The artist was so wonderful and did everything I asked. I just didn't like how heavy the thick fans looked on my face. I called and asked to come in and redo them. The receptionist kindly got me in the next day and a different artist redid them to perfection. I expected to pay full price but they fixed them complimentary. I booked a same-day appointment to accommodate my teaching schedule, and the receptionist was so kind and quick to take me in the afternoon after school hours. I arrived a few minutes early for some digital paperwork, and then El came and got me from the lobby at my exact appointment time. I expressed what I needed and made some special requests-- accommodate my contact lenses, glasses, what I didn't like about my last set (not from Cherry Lash), etc.-- and she made some professional recommendations and even showed me some pictures of her previous work to help me make a decision. Update: I have seen returned many times to Cherry Lash and I'm now a regular client. I have been very impressed with the level of customer service from every department. It took a couple tries, but I found my go-to lash master. She is phenomenal. I think I might suggest for new clients who are not well versed in lash terms to start with a master. If you know exactly what you want and how you want it, I'm confident an artist and maybe even an apprentice will get the job done. When I was first faced with all the choices... natural, makeup, dramatic.. featherized.. cat eye.. wispy... etc... I had no clue what it was going to take to get the lashes I wanted. So i guessed. When I returned to a different artsier, I guessed again. When I returned the third time, I just told the lash master that I had no idea and to just please help my lashes look nice and flattering. And she did. She's awesome. Cherry Lash has a great booking system, which I appreciate. They text to confirm and you can text their bot to cancel or reschedule. Or you can do it online or by calling. So this is my very first time ever to get lashes! I'm excited but nervous at the same time .. but I'm super happy my good friend Marianne is doing them for me and she's the most experienced Master technician! So I feel good walking in!! Okay so on entry, there's free water and coffee to grab and if you prefer a mask to wear while you get your lashes they're there too! Lindsay checked me in and she was friendly and informative. Around the back there are about 20 or so recliners with nice heavy warm blankets. Also if you like the curtains closed that's available for more privacy as you doze in and out of sleep. I only got lashes for a wedding. I chose Cherry Lash because of where it is located, my thought process was I would rather pay a little more and be close to home. Convenience trumps over price for me. I thought the room where they did the lashes was cute and interesting. You are in large black/soft recliners and have little dividers in between you and the next gal getting her lashes done. I wish I was a back sleeper, I'm sure I would have fallen right asleep! I thought the girl who did my lashes was really sweet and thought she did a good job (Tay). I have nothing to compare it to, since I never had it done before. If I were to do lashes, I would probably just do it here because of where it is located, which is the original reason I chose this studio to begin with. BUT, my problem is... and it is my own fault, because I knew it coming into the shop, so I have no one to blame but myself, but there is a 10% increase on price for services from Friday-Sunday. The reason for that? I'm not sure? Maybe they have to pay staff more to work the weekend? But... as far as advertising goes... it would make more sense for the price to be 120 for the lashes that I got done on the weekend and THEN offer a discount to those who come in on the weekday. I think it sounds better? Maybe that's marketing. I would've felt better about it. But, like I said, I knew I was coming in with a price increase, but it bothered me after thinking about it haha. Because technically the prices would be the same on the weekend and weekday; with what prices are being charged currently, but the people coming on the weekdays will think they're getting a deal and the people on the weekends won't feel like they're being charged extra for a weekend inconvenience. First apt three of us girls had an appointment for 3 full sets. 1 mega and two I dont know classic. Mega is advertised 1.5 hours Cherry lash told two of them getting classes it's gonna be 2.5 hours so they opted out due to the time. The receptionist tried to charge them a cancellation fee. When apt was just made. Second I paid 279 or whatever for a full set .. why wasn't I offered the free fill that's advertised on line? Third you want me to add a cc on file to back charge me for an apt that you never called or texted me for.. I was trying me make an apt that shows at 8 pm. What a fucking joke. read more

Went to see a lash apprentice today, it has been a good 5 years since I've had lash extensions. Booking process was insanely easy and convenient. As for my lashes, I've had them on 6hrs and have lost about 20. Obviously they were not put on properly because they turned down or crossed over others. I went to cosmetology school years ago and I always appreciated clients to came to see us "students". While I was not yet licensed, I was trained cut and color hair. So I felt "why not contribute to her learning experience while I save some money?". Lesson learned. Isabella was the apprentice I went to see, and I gave her the liberty to do what she felt most comfortable and good doing. She stated she'd give me a sort of wing to elongate my eyes...not so much. Actually, most of the lashes she placed out the outer part of my right eye have fallen off, just sitting on my cheek. Clearly, she just did not use sufficient adhesive. I understand I did not pay the $200 to see an experienced girl. But I still payed, and tipped $10 and I should've gotten more than 6 hrs of lashes. At this point, I'm looking for something to remove the adhesive because my left eye is noticeably fuller than my right and I'm supposed to go on vacation like this? Lastly, there was one thing I found to be somewhat odd. The girl that checked out before me was asked if she would like to book her next appointment in 3 weeks, but I wasn't. Is it because she knew they wouldn't last that long? Is that part of the catch when seeing an apprentice? Update: 12 hours later I am litterally left with 10 lashes. Turns out I didn't need any type of solution to get this "adhesive" off but a slight tug of my fingers and it was the only thing I could do to because I just kept losing more more. They just fell off. For anyone that knows what it's like to have extensions, they're supposed to be glued to your own lashes. Yet these just slipped off. The lashes sitting on my bathroom counter look exactly how they do in the pack before they're even applied. $70 for absolutely NOTHING. Didn't even get a chance to go out in public. Unreal. What a rip off. It's either terrible quality or awful training. read more
