Yeah, I gotta agree, I'm a fan! I use a hand cycle; always worried I'm going to get dinged as it's not your every day bike; very prompt and fair pricing for repairs and tune up. Pricing for accessories is also reasonable as compared to other shops I've been; Definately worth your time to check out! read more

This is probably the best bike shop in town. If you are going to have your bike fixed, want to buy a bike, or buy accessories for your bike this is the place for that. The staff here is incredibly polite, warm, and make you feel welcomed. The bike mechanic here is fast and knows exactly what he's doing. The prices here are really cheap and affordable. And on top of that the staff here will go out of their way to help you with everything you need and they will make sure you leave this place satisfied. read more

Came here with a little bit of money and a few questions. Bought some stuff for an old bike and needed help installing the parts but because i didn't have enough money to pay the guy for labor he became upset after every question i had. The only thing he did for me was take the old chain of the bike and that was it. I left to figure it out but had to go back when i realized he sold me a wrong sized part. read more

Live4Bikes has Good Friendly People that work there. I went in today and the Latin Gentleman with his partner was very curtious on letting me know that if i leave my bike in for repairs i could have it by tomorrow, or buying it i would just have to wait a moment and he would give me detail instructions on how to do it myself. Best Experience EVER! he was polite and knew his job well. He explained it to me, i bought the parts and now i am riding again. These guys did NOT over charge me like Bellflower Bicycle has in the Past and JB Bicycles has with their TERRIBLE Customer Service, Live4Bikes is a Very Good Over Experience if you want someone to give you Expert Detail information on what you are curious on or what your NEEDS may be! =D read more

I brought in a Peugeot to be assembled. I supplied all the components and even gave them a full week to do the job. These idiots installed the cables with zipties everywhere when clearly there were cable stops at ever point needed. Terrible mechanics and even the front desk people seemed lost. Never again will I use them for my bike builds. Hopefully the OC one is better equipped with a technician and knowledgeable staff. read more

My experience here was extraordinary. Upon entering the shop, I was not ignored but quickly greeted by Carlo, who was very helpful in every possible way. I would like to first say that their customer service is beyond my expectations. they will make you feel like you matter as a customer and will try to work things out to your liking. The staff if wonderful and polite. Not once did I feel neglected as a customer and that has made all the difference. Now for bicycle selections I must say that I am impressed. If you want a affordable and entry level bike to the world of single speed and fixed gear riding this is your haven. They have everything to build a custom bike from frames to wheel sets and even bikes already built to which you may change out wheel sets to what you desire. Not sure if they carry the big name track frames. Needless to say I was able to purchase a fixed gear for my girlfriend here with no problems. This is my new go to bike shop for everything bicycle. I would definitely recommend my friends to this place. I rarely review places on help but when its a place that's worth reviewing, I'd take the time to help out a local business that deserves it. read more

I saw some good reviews and wanted to get a good price to trade in on my 2 bikes. My son needed a beach cruiser and I thought we would stop in to the store. I was very pleased with Carlos the owner. He give me a fair price for my bike and we got a nice beach cruiser as a trade. They are very fair and seem to want to keep you as a customer. There are a lot of bike shops out there, I know we went to a few and I would recommend you stop by here first. Support small business!!! read more

Since Live 4 Bikes has opened up their official shop, it seems they have grown rapidly in these past few months. I enjoy the wide varity of bikes, starting from the used to new, i.e beach cruisers, road bikes, fixies and many more. The owner who is also the mechanic is very knowledgeable of the bikes and usually will get your bike back without holding onto it for very long. The staff is very friendly and welcoming and the prices are very reasonable. I would recommend Live 4 Bikes to all and any of the bike riders out there. read more

Dropped off my Matte Black "Pure Fix" because my old bottom bracket worn out and Carlos and Jose fixed my bike like brand new switched out my old Frame with a new "Uniform" yellow frame and charge me $56 for a new bracket and frame swap so my old frame is still saved....thanks To the mechanics at "Live 4 Bikes" Carlos ,Jose and Hector awesome mechanics that know what they're doing:) read more

Absolutely wonderful! I recently learned how to ride, as I grew up downtown in a very big east coast city, and I walked everywhere. They were very helpful, gave us GREAT deals (took $20 off both my bike and my fathers bike) and a discount on the car rack and lock, installed the rack on the car and were so friendly the whole time. read more

Very disappointed. Came in to trade in two bikes that I bought here less than 2 years ago. Both were well over $200 dollars when I bought them. One was a used bike that I had to fix up and get a tune up the same week I bought it, just keep that in mind. And I bought a brand new fixed gear here for almost $400 a year ago. These bikes were cool and all but I wanted to trade in both and get a better bike. Came in this morning, was helped by a older Hispanic lady. She didn't know very much English but my sister was with me luckily. I told her I wanted to trade in my bikes and she said ok have a look around. Was looking around and saw a few that I liked but we're about $400, and I still didn't know how much I'd get for my two bikes. So I asked her how much would I get for my bikes? She looked at them, didn't ask any questions about them or anything. Said $40 for the fixed gear that I bought there that was pretty much $400 brand new. And $50 dollars for the used bike that I bought here. I was outraged and explained to her that I bought the bikes for over $200 dollars and the fixie was almost 400 dollars when I first bought it a year ago. She said "here?" And I said yes then she said "nooooo." Yes I bought it for that much the total was $389 last year. She just said "$40 and $50 bucks." I said no thank you and walked out. This place has disappointed me to much. I'll take my business elsewhere where they'll at least negotiate a fair price. You suck. read more

I brought in my Univega Road Bike built in the nineties. Benny repaired and replaced some parts that were needed. I ride the bike everyday so I understand when parts need to be replaced...Everyone in the shop is friendly and you don't get the feeling like they want to sell you a new bike instead of fixing the old one. I've been in bike shops where you can get this attitude. Benny also replaced the pedals and put new tape on the handlebars. The bike came out looking fantastic. He did a tune up on it also and I have ridden it three times since and it's running great.. This is my new bike shop and I live miles away but will purposely take the bike to them for any challenge or problem that arises.. Trust, integrity and honesty are key for me when bringing in the bike somewhere.. And their prices are great.. I forgot to mention that they have an amazing stock of new bikes on hand. Very tempting.. LOL but I'll stick with the old one for now... read more
