I had a plug problem in my main sewer line. I got on the phone and called several plumbers. The first gave me a same-day appointment time for later in the day; two hours past that time, no show and no phone call. I then called a second plumbing service but they only had openings for 3 days out. My 3rd call got me a company that came out 2 hours after I called, but their estimate was more than twice than what I have paid previously for a similar issue. Then I called Live Action Plumbing. Noe at Live Action Plumbing answered my phone call immediately and was very friendly and understood my problem: a 2 inch cast iron drain pipe in my garage split open when I attempted to remove the clean-out cap. I was a bit panicked when it happened but he was at my doorstep within 20 minutes and fixed the whole issue in under 2 hours and cleared the original clog too. His price was very reasonable but he we was clear at the outset about what he may discover and that additional work may be necessary. Called as a first time client the night before about a deep clog down the kitchen drain pipe of a fourplex apartment building. Noe (bless him) came first thing in the morning. I was debating whether to get an 240V electric dryer which would need a new 240V electric line or a gas dryer which would need a new gas line. I'd like to get opinion from multiple people, yet I don't want to waste their time, since it is possible that I will choose electric over gas if a new gas line is more expensive. So, I was trying to explain the potential project in as many details as I can and hope to get a rough estimate.
