The staff...Eduardo, Gaby, Marie...so friendly available and helpful. My wife and I were in town for seven nights. Our stay coincided with Loreto's celebration of its 325th anniversary. The town, like the hotel, could not have been more charming and welcoming. We booked a junior suite overlooking the street below and with a balcony facing las móntañas gigantes to the east. Comfortable king size bed, refrigerator, AC, shower, TV, and wi-fi. The room was clean and comfortable. Mary and Gaby cooked and served a full hot breakfast each morning by the small pool and patio. They restocked the room with fresh towels and bottled water each day. There was also a large sparkletts type water bottle available by the pool for refills. Please know that this is not a five star waterfront gringo resort. This is a beautifully maintained small guest hotel in a Loreto neighborhood...which was for us a real feature. Five stars and muchísimas gracias to the Rosarito Hotel Loreto for a memorable week.

Santos also stopped twice on the ride to the mission to show us some wonderful scenery. The lunch at the Mission was terrible. All our food came out cold. Recommend that Wild Loreto try a different restaurant by the mission for lunch. The sunset boat tour was very nice. The catamaran is very small & seating is not the most comfortable but you get fantastic views of the mountains & shoreline. Food was very minimal but fine - chips, salsa, guac, cheese,fruit, & burritos. Drinks were beer, tequila, & rum. No wine - I was very disappointed with the no wine.

Orlando is the owner/ operator of both Casa Mangos and the restaurant. He lives in an apartment on site and is very attentive to ensure you have what you need. We also were able to experience a superpod of hundreds of dolphins swimming alongside the boat. Jorge and Armando were very attentive and assisted us through all the fishing steps. It was a great day of fishing and we would recommend Fishing Geer Charters for any of your fishing, whale-watching, and/or snorkel adventures. They arrived on time, were very attentive the whole time, and cleaned & filleted the fish for us. I'll be contacting them again for our next trip and you should too! BARGAIN hotel. $500 pesos ($25) a night, no charge for pets…read more Walking distance to sea & malecon and just behind hotel is the famous mission and pedestrian-only avenue with many shops, restaurants, bars, tree lined squares, coffee bars, galleries, et al. Rooms are large and reasonably clean, not fancy or American Sandard, no fridge/micro but resaturants all around. They have AC, hot water, WiFi and Mexican tv. Rooms are upstairs and encircled by a huge old-world looking balcony with seating and a great view of the street below. The street will be somewhat noisy in the morning! Beds aren't great, but ok. They will let you look at the accomodations before you pay. They have more rooms across the street but I haven't seen those yet. There is parking behind, but you might have to park where you can, and move in the evening. I'm a repeat customer and have always been able to do this. Great deal for the price, and I really like this little place.
