My car lost oil pressure for just a second, then recovered. However, the check engine light came…read moreon. I took it into Auto Zone and they said the code was PO522. The print-out said I needed a new oil pressure sending unit and also recommended replacing the intake manifold gasket. It was not a cheap fix. Being new to the area, I had no idea where to go. I researched it and discovered that Texas Auto Care had the best reviews by far. I called and spoke with James, the owner and mechanic. He gave me a quote of nearly $500. I dropped my car off and when he called to say the car was ready, he advised me there would be no charge as he felt there had been a glitch in the system when my oil was changed the day before. I would highly recommend Texas Auto Care. It would have been so easy for them to have done the job and I never would have known! I can't tell you how thankful I am that I found James and Jessica. Their honesty is overwhelming and so appreciated!

They promptly checked out my car and found the problem. Because it was a punctured oil filter as a result of oil change the day before, they recommended it be towed to Honda dealership in Longview to be thoroughly checked out. They contacted the dealership service department and had someone waiting for me when I got there, plus took photos and video of what they found. All of this saved me from ruining my engine and to get full reimbursement from place that changed my oil. Kind, professional group!
