I was able to get business done within 10 minutes or so. There were two women in front of me, but the process was quick. This is my second time getting fingerprints scanned, and the lady doing it was so much more efficient than the place I went to before. She also even offered hand sanitizer at the end and a copy, which the other office I went to did not provide. So, I would definitely recommend coming here, especially for a walk-in. The actual service gets a 5 star review. I came in today at exactly 3:03pm with 1 person ahead of me being helped & I was out by 3:14pm exact. Wow!!! There was only 1 person working here when I arrived & somehow this was the fastest live scan I've ever done in my life. I gave a 3 star review however because I HATE cockroaches & this place apparently has a roach problem. According to the female staff that helped me today they've recently tried to fumigate 2 times w/ no avail at solving the roach problem. I wish businesses would notify consumers if there's a roach problem within their establishment, because unknowing consumers might leave home with roaches on themselves or their belongings & boom next thing you know your home has a roach problem too. Pesky little critters. I would've definetly gave a 5 due to the quick service & the staff was nice too, but I had to give a 3 because I left freaked out & had to inspect my belongings & myself to ensure no roach came along for the ride home. After a successful interview to start working with grade school kids as a tutor and mentor, I was given a form to get fingerprints done with a location address and sent on my merry way. I arrived in an unfamiliar area of Santa Ana and was directed by GPS to a Western Dental building across from Santa Ana College. This building is kinda old but houses many offices besides just the dentist office downstairs. I took the rusty old elevator upstairs and was greeted by a bright smile that belonged to the owner of this fingerprint place, Ms. Michelle Smith. The process itself was quick and painless. Folks, there were no ink pads and forms. She took my license, scanned in my info, had me scan me each finger, then roll each finger, and everything was electronically processed in under 5 minutes and for $35 which my employer will happily reimburse. The fingerprints take 2 weeks to process and there's no mess, no fuss, and most importantly, no disgusting ink stains on your fingers. I love it! Michelle's shop is pretty tiny (about as big as a small dining area) but she offers notary services, copy services, and lots more. All finger print machines are thoroughly cleaned after each use and each employee is FBI certified. Live Scan also offers ink pad finger printing if you so desire or your employer desires. I called yesterday to make an appointment for today at 9am when they open. The girl I spoke to was very nice on the phone. She informed me that she already has 2 people booked for that time, but she can offer me a later appointment, which I wouldn't be able to make. She tried to accommodate and said that she would be in at 8:40am, so if I come earlier she could start on me first before her 9am appointments. She didn't have to offer me that, but that was nice of her and I appreciated it. I showed up this morning and she was standing outside trying to open the door. She looked at me and said "we are not open yet, so can you wait?" I said "Sure, no problem" and continued waiting there by the stairs. She looked back at me and said "you can wait in your car." I was confused since someone had told me the day before that they would be in at 8:40 and could take me in, and it was 8:50 by now. I didn't know if it was her or not, so I asked her if she was the one I spoke to yesterday evening and began to explain the situation when she cut me off and said "I don't know because there were 3 people who called last minute yesterday. Okay, fine. So I began to explain what happened over the phone and she cut me off again and said "Well I am here at 8:40 but I didn't anticipate having trouble opening the door." She was rude and did not admit whether she was the one I talked to. I understand that situations may arise that we have no control over (like the door not opening) and she may have been stressed. My issue is the way she talked to me. Another way she could have addressed the situation when I arrived was say "Hi, I am having trouble opening the door right now and am trying to figure it out. Can you please wait in your car?" I had no idea she was having trouble with the door because the first thing she said to me was that they are not open yet and told me to wait then proceeded to rudely tell me to wait in my car because obviously they weren't open yet. I was confused because I was told that I could come early. I was on a time crunch, which was why I wasn't going to be able to make it to a later appointment. I ended up leaving and will not be back. read more

I came into Live Scan N More today to obtain my live scan for my EMS company. I came in flustered with a lot of paperwork and filled it out to the best of my ability. I missed my Social and the apparent " Licensed " technician did not double check. I think it's natural for individuals to make mistakes but when I called to let her know we both overlooked she told me it was my responsibility and she couldn't do anything about it. I asked her if it's routine to look over the paper work and she said NO. She did not offer any help or resolution. It "might be" fine then repeated she gave me the paper work so it all my responsibility. If you need help or to send official paper work DO NOT COME here. * Thank you for the response! However, if the company does not require it to be successful please relay that to your employees. If It was part of your employee's licensed training through the DOJ & FBI then she should have been confident and told me it is not required. The verbiage " I don't know" or "maybe" is not a assuring for a professional place or for anyone who carries a professional license. Again I acknowledged it was my error, but the employee was rude to me and said they do not look over the paperwork before it is summited. This can lead to more problems that an upset customer. I will not be coming back because of the way I was spoken to over the phone, the fact someone said it was my fault, that they do not look over the documents, and did not seek to help me with a resolution. read more

The moment I walked in the girl working in the front told me she couldn't take me because there was too many people. Then she asked if I filled out my form since I wanted to do live scan, and she said "next time call to make an appointment". All rude, then she prompted me to sit down and wait. When I asked her a question she totally disregarded it and just told me to wait. There was only 3 ladies in the waiting room and two kids but she made it very hard and uncomfortable for me to even ask her a question. She was very rude. I recommend going elsewhere.
