I had a great experience at this office! I told them about my teeth sensitivity and my anxiety about pain and they cleaned my teeth very gently. They were super attentive and accommodating. For the cleaning they used a vibrating water tool, which was much more comfortable than the metal scraping thing. They were thorough in every way such as explaining my options, walking me through my x-rays & scans, and offering an itemized list with pricing before any additional procedures. read more

My experience here was great. I put off getting my wisdom teeth removed for a while (regrettably) and ended up in severe pain/needing it done urgently. They got me in to be seen immediately after calling. Every staff member was pleasant. I met with both Drs who were wonderful. They got my trouble wisdom teeth out the same day (Dr. Pouyan stayed late to get this done for me) and the follow up care was beyond expectation. Highly recommend this practice. read more

I aggressively recommend LiveWell Dentistry. The quality of the care is fantastic. I have only had positive experiences there. Dr. Pouyan installed a front crown that was indistinguishable from my other tooth, which is no simple task because I'm old and my teeth have a lot of "character." On multiple occasions, Dr. Pouyan has fit me into his schedule last minute to take care of dental emergencies, including coming in on his day off so that I wouldn't have a missing tooth over the weekend. (My already average IQ couldn't take that hit.) I'd give them 6 stars if I could. read more

I know about 99% of us do not look forward to a root canal (or two). I definitely was not, but Dr. Pouyan did such a great job. He's kind and funny, and actually wants to know if something hurts so he can find a way to make it more comfortable. His assistant was also so kind and helpful. Dr. Pouyan is committed to making sure you are happy with your smile, and that your teeth are as healthy as possible. Beware of this dental office. On the surface they seem perfectly charming, polite etc. Clean, modern office filled only with young women, when I went. However, once they get you in the chair they will do everything they can to clean your wallet out. The dentist told me I had to replace ALL the fillings in my mouth, a procedure she would do over the course of several appointments, costing thousands. Naturally went to get a second opinion. My new dentist was shocked by what I told him- He said I have no cavities, and no need for anything but elective dental work. be careful out there people! avoid this place read more

I recently had a filling replaced and it was pain free and quick. Everything was explained along the way so I knew what was happening, and they constantly checked in with me to make sure I was comfortable. This might be the best dentist I've ever went to. I came here after receiving a new client special flier in the mail. I was able to make a last minute appointment when I had a day off work. The staff was very friendly and I received the most thorough cleaning of my life. This is not the kind of place that tries to swindle you and dramatizes your problems, I was told I have a slight cavity, but with good brushing I will likely not need a filling. I chose Dr. Khanideh after hearing a report from my coworker that she helped her after hours fill a prescription that her insurance wouldn't cover. Someone that looks after their patients to this degree - she literally went to the pharmacy to ensure things were taken care of - is so so rare, I had to give them a try. Dr. Khanideh and her entire office have exceeded my expectations. They remind me of when I am due for my next appt and go out if their way to find times that work with my busy work schedule. Shay has master hands and ensures I am comfy during my cleanings. She is also super educated and gives the best tips in caring for your smile. Debbie and Leila are always accommodating and are just some of the genuinely nicest people I have encountered in LA. Dr. K discusses all potential options and involves you in the decision making. The only good thing about this place is Dr. Pouyan's conversations. There is no parking, they don't validate and you have to find street parking. The dental technicians are rude and lacking experience. I walked through the door and the technician looked me up and down. The cleaning was painful, she had very bad bedside manners, x-rays and pictures needed to be taken multiple times. The front desk is not any better. I had to cancel an appointment and she demanded why? I don't think I need to explain myself for rescheduling. Now I get a bill in February from November with the invoice modified with whiteout. Even though I always asked before I left if I owed anything and was told I was good to go. I didn't realize how bad this place was until, a tooth was bothering me and I had to go to an endodontist, for him to tell me the tooth was fractured and needed to be extracted. The x-rays from Livewell was not adequate enough to show this. Then the front desk tells me they have a dentist who comes in and does implants but does not take any insurance. I'm supposed to pay 6-7K out of pocket? She then told me to get it extracted and implanted all in the same day. I called another dentist and he told me that it is not possible to extract and implant in the same day. He also accepted my insurance and I ended up paying less than 2K. When they quote you for treatment, I would advise you to call around and speak to other dentists before you go ahead with the procedure. I trusted Dr. Pouyan and assumed they were helping me all while they were just helping themselves to my pocketbook. Also, they said my insurance doesn't cover night guards and made me pay out of pocked for it. I checked with my insurance and it does cover night guards. Shame on you for incorrectly billing customers. read more
