Dr Dani is by far the best cosmetic dentist I've ever been to. To begin with, I had a little accident in the office where my veneer broke off when I was biting into a Mendocino sandwich for lunch. I called up Dr Danis office, and even though it was his day off, he took me in. He was incredibly friendly, polite, and professional. Furthermore, he was so caring and concerned about my comfort. It started in the 1970's. Both my sister and I were not born with great teeth, and one day our parents sat us down for a family meeting. It was explained to us, that because there wasn't enough money for both, my sister would get braces and whitening because she would need to be as attractive as possible. She's the girl. She's going to need a husband. I was a guy. I don't need to be attractive. That's how it started. When I "escaped" and got out on my own, the first thing I did, was to go out and get 6 veneers for the top, and I tried to whiten and shape the bottoms. That was in 1982. Time passed on, and as time does change us, my teeth were moving and I had gaps in the lowers, and shapes were all wrong, and the 1982 veneers were definitely showing their age. I needed a new smile for the last part of my life. I made the decision to get a smile makeover and started researching different dentists. I love in the San Francisco Bay Area. After several appointments in my area, I had the idea to simply go down to LA and get some opinions from a real Hollywood dentist. The people I saw up here were all fine, but no one really impressed me. That's how I got down to Dr. Dani's office. Found him online, reviewed his website, and went down for an appointment. Wow. The first thing that I liked is his office. Oh my gosh, if you'd not seen it yet, just wait. What a fantastic place to sit in a dental chair. I could sit there all day. Next, the staff, and Dr. Dani. The team, and they are a team, gave me such confidence, with humor, and caring, and understanding. And Dr. Dani. If you're reading this and wondering if you can trust him or now, well, you can. He's as good as he comes across. Well, even though I knew it would be hard, and a lot of work, and a lot of money, I chose Dr. Dani. 20 new teeth. 10 on the top, and 10 on the bottom. Several visits, drives back and forth, hotels, and was it worth it? Am I happy? Let me tell you know the results. First of all, I feel much more confident. I talk and laugh without worrying about my teeth. They fit, they feel good, I eat, chew, bite all just fine. (I wish my parents were still alive to see me). Anyway, I went to my dentist for his opinion. I've been going to the same dental office for 20 years and he wanted to give me a smile makeover, but honestly, I didn't quite trust him for a big job. So I went to him afterwards and asked for his opinion. It was so funny. He sat me back, turned on the light, and gave me this long, and very quiet dental exam. Finally he turns off the light, sits me back, and says, "So, do you want my opinion?" He taps me on the shoulder and says, "Pretty darn good. He did good." Then, listen to this. Three weeks ago I go in for my regular cleaning. I haven't been in to see my regular hygienist yet, and I was really nervous to see what she was going to say, because I've been seeing her for years. She knows how many appointments I had, and all the fear I was having, and all of that. Well, she does the cleaning and at the end I asked her. "Chris, what do you think? Did I do good by going down to LA, and should I have simply down the work here?" She sat me up, looked around to make sure no one could hear her, and then she told me that the teeth are Beautiful, and then she looked around again, and told me that I made a fantastic decision and that I should not have one single regret. Not one. "Mark," she said, "You made the right choice." This brings me to the end of this review. If you're thinking about using Dr. Dani for your smile makeover, if you go in with a positive attitude, try and relax and enjoy it, and if you work with them, communicate with them, and then trust them, I feel as though you too will have made the right choice. Visiting the dentist has always been torture for me. I'm autistic and have anxiety, so the sensory experience has always been... well, torturous. Add to that a lifetime of bad dental habits from depression and sensory issues... You get the idea. I skipped the dentist for years before Dr. Dani. My mom had to push me to go. And they are so great. Dr. Dani is a perfectionist in the best way--my teeth look amazing with the veneers he put on. The hygienist I see, Iliana, makes me so comfortable, and I know it can't be easy. Mint stuff is painful so we don't use it at all! The tv in the room (yes! A dentist with netflix!) is always turned to something relaxing. She checks in with me all the time to make sure I'm doing okay. I put my headphones in during a deep cleaning today at Iliana's suggestion--she noticed I was flinching at the noise of the machine. Y'all I hadn't even realized that yet! I love how aware and caring they are. It is a super safe feeling experience and I recommend them highly for anyone with dental anxiety. (Or without, lol!) I had consulted with numerous top tier cosmetic dentists in both NYC and LA, ensuring who I was going to trust and spend money with was a fit and felt right. I felt a refreshed approach as soon as I walked into Dr Dani's office. His office staff is wonderful and friendly, and really cared about me feeling comfortable and important. Dr Dani and his staff do amazing work. He is honest, approachable, and an expert in his field and has a great personality, which is crucial when you're uncomfortable or nervous. If you are considering any kind of dental work, especially aesthetic, Dr. Dani is the best in this field. After going through several invisilign treatments that were unsuccessful, the treating dentist at the time had shaved down my teeth to "correct" what invisilign did not. I was devastated. My teeth were much smaller than anticipated and sensitivity made my life difficult. I was actually in a depression and would shy away from smiling. I felt hopeless. Then I started thinking about going through the veneer process. For about a year I researched veneers and would watch Dr. Benyamini's dental cases he'd share through his social networks. I was completely impressed with how natural and unparalleled his work was, just at first glance. I booked a video consult and Dr. Dani and his staff were all very informative and reassuring. Within weeks I had booked my travel and visited the office to start my veneer process. There was no discomfort, pain or regret to any of this. It's now been 2 years and they look and feel as the day we did the work. Also, let me add, there are numbers of facilities claiming to do great veneer work throughout the US and I traveled to California from North Carolina because no one else's work was as convincing or compared. I've noticed a large number of people flying overseas to get very cheap and unnatural looking dental work. Please do not do this to yourself. Dr. Dani is the way. Just breeze through his Instagram and look at some of these very severe and complicated cases turned around. I myself am relieved I made the right decision choosing the best there is. I deeply regret ever going to Dr. Dani Benyaminy for my porcelain veneers. From start to finish, the experience was a nightmare that caused lasting damage both physically and emotionally. Dr. Benyaminy wasn't even the one who administered the anesthesia during my procedure, and yet he didn't seem concerned about the severe complications I endured until I ended up in the hospital. On the day of my procedure, he was unfocused, distracted, and unprofessional. He even complained about just coming back from a trip the night before, as if that excused his behavior. The entire process was unnecessarily prolonged, and I was injected with anesthesia five times by another individual without my prior consent and then injected by him. This individual clearly did not know what she was doing, and I felt sharp pain during the injections, which was completely ignored. What made matters worse was Dr. Benyaminy's dismissive attitude toward my pain. He repeatedly told me I was "just sensitive" and even joked about telling my partner how "sensitive" I am. This was incredibly insulting and unprofessional, especially in the midst of my suffering. After my procedure, I experienced excruciating pain, numbness, swelling, and difficulty breathing for weeks. The roof of my mouth developed painful lesions, and I couldn't speak, eat, or drink properly. When I called the office desperate for help, I was told they were closed on Fridays. It wasn't until I ended up in the ER that they finally called me back and told me to come in. Even then, Dr. Benyaminy didn't see me in person--he "assessed" my condition over FaceTime while the lesions in my mouth worsened. Only after asking and asking was I given a time to go into the office where he gave me a mouthwash. And after weeks I asked to go into the office to pick up the aligners that was included in the price I paid for the procedure, which I had to "remind" them to give. To make matters worse, the veneers themselves weren't even the length, thickness, or width we had agreed upon. While I was in pain and struggling to speak, they had me sign a form acknowledging the work, even though I kept stating that the veneers were not what we had discussed. It was evident that Dr. Benyaminy didn't inspect or check the size of the veneers at all before placing them, leaving me with a result I wasn't happy with, but I was in too much pain to even object at that point. This experience has been devastating. Not only was I left physically distressed and in constant pain, but the dismissive and careless attitude of Dr. Benyaminy and his staff made it even worse. To add insult to injury, they offered me a "free cleaning" as if that would make up for the weeks of pain and suffering. The front desk staff were kind and attentive through texts and calls from day 1, and I was excited from the first day I walked in and immediately left a deposit to begin work BUT only until I paid for the procedure in full--weeks before the final cementation of the veneers. After that, the level of care and responsiveness noticeably declined especially when I was contacting them about what was physically happening to me after the porcelain veneers placement. They try to make you feel special by claiming they close the entire office for the day so the doctor can focus solely on you, but that's far from the truth. Not only was I worked on by someone else for the most important part which is being administered anesthesia but there were multiple patients being treated in the office at the same time. The personalized care they promised never happened. I wouldn't wish this experience on anyone. I live with the consequences every day, and it took me a long time to write this review, but I don't want anyone else to endure what I did. If you care about professionalism, respect, and your health, please avoid Dr. Dani Benyaminy. His negligence, lack of focus, and failure to even follow the agreed-upon treatment plan have caused me more harm than I can express. I spent years researching and contemplating the decision to get make the investment in myself and get veneers, and ultimately chose Dr. Benyaminy's office based on a false narrative they created. Their promises of exceptional care and results convinced me, but the reality was far from what was advertised. I went into this expecting an amazing experience, excellent results, and a lasting, supportive relationship with the dental office. But now, even the slightest discomfort fills me with anxiety and dread, a constant reminder of the trauma. read more

I have to admit, I invested way more and got more work done than I had planned, but if you're going to improve your face and your smile, cutting corners is not an option. I felt he had a very gentle and truly polite approach to how he works that makes being at the dentist a much more pleasant experience overall. Furthermore, everyone on his staff is absolutely LOVELY. The front desk and dental assistants are not only great at their jobs but also warm and welcoming. Every person I interacted with in the office over multiple visits was genuine and friendly, in addition to providing fantastic service always. Dr. Dani and his team went above and beyond my expectations, not only giving me the smile of my dreams but doing so with great positive energy and kindness.
