Maintenance had been lacking the past few years, but the 2015 season was much better. Even the practice green by the clubhouse is in great shape, where it used to be a mess. The clubhouse is retro in the best way, a step right back in time to the 1970s, with great views of the surrounding forest. Too bad the downstairs area is so underutilized, it could be a great cafe/bar area. Green fees and rentals are priced average for the area. But they also have specials throughout the season that makes this one of the better values in the area.

While it's not the most difficult course you'll find, it has plenty of streams, trees, and Out-of-Bounds areas to get yourself a pretty high score! I would recommend grabbing an extra few golf balls although hopefully you'll hit them straight and not lose any! If you're playing the front 9, I recommend a cart. It's pretty mountainous. The course is very beautiful and well maintained. The bathrooms are updated and clean. All in all, a great course! I'm not from Brigham City, so I always like to make a day out of coming to Eagle Mountain. Stop by Maddox for some fried chicken on your way home.

My wife is still learning and won't play anywhere else. It's well kept. Front 9 is very flat, classic style with wide, tree lined fairways, medium sized greens with some undulation but nothing too crazy. Standout holes are #6 and #9, both fun par 3s over water. Back 9 is a little more challenging, modern style, open and treeless, with more sand and larger greens. They host a lot of local scrambles here throughout the season. Staff is friendly. Clubhouse is old and doesn't have many amenities, no cooking onsite. Bathrooms are small but pretty clean. Equipment pricing is higher than the average clubhouse. Preston is my getaway course, away from the hustle and bustle. Relax, breath in the fresh air, take it all in, admire the greenery and hit a few balls with my family. This is as good as it gets.

They have a very well-kept 18 hole course with a large driving range as well. The course can be pretty tough. They do have quite a few mature trees, some occasional creeks, and other fun obstacles. I remember getting stuck in a sandtrap here once and it probably took me 4-5 strokes to get out - pretty embarrassing, but then again the sand has never been my specialty. The clubhouse is gorgeous and offers breathtaking views. My cousin even chose to get married here and her wedding and reception were amazing! My work has had a couple of golf tournaments here and they've always been pretty good in my opinion. This place is without a doubt one of my favorite courses in Utah.

I have heard good things about the course, so next time I will need to give it a full try! The range was nice. There were quite a few people when we got there, but slowly people left. My husband and his parents golf here all the time (with me driving the cart for my husband). I've…read morenoticed that over the past few years that they went from loving the course to becoming extremely stressed the last year or two when playing there. The course is always backed up with the Marshall checking in even though there's a group of four walkers in front of us. This last time, today, was especially bad. We played 18 holes; the first nine holes were understandably (seeing it's Memorial Day) completely backed up. We had a group of four women, playing from the yellow tees, right behind us. We expected the course to play pretty slow, but it ended up being slower than expected. All the while, this group was very close behind us. My husband and his father had both been doing really well from the blues, so they wanted to try the blacks. And my mother in law has always gone from the greys. However, the women behind us (going from yellow) were right behind my mother in law's drive from the grey, almost hitting us every hole. We played 18 holes and on the 15th, an older woman who claimed that she worked at Valley View, came up to us on her cart. She said she worked there and that "they've been behind us the whole time since hole one". When we explained that we were behind a group on the first nine and had no choice, plus we stopped at the grill on hole ten (which they did too) she urged us to move along, making it so all of us were stressed and distracted so much so that some of us didn't even finish the game. The last few times at this course have been unpleasant, and if a person who works there treats us like how she did this last instance, it's not worth going to again.
