I have only been to the driving range of this golf course. My friend had a punch pass for buckets of balls. We got 2 small buckets to share for the both of us. I have heard good things about the course, so next time I will need to give it a full try! The range was nice. There were quite a few people when we got there, but slowly people left. (probably because it was later at night and getting cold!) The range is across the street from the clubhouse, so you will have to cross the road. read more

the course alone is pretty good but they can't stick to a standard range schedule to save their lives. They have a white board that they update when the range will close. Obviously it's super helpful for those who are planning on them closing at a typical time just to get there to find out they decided to close early. Pick a schedule and stop changing it! read more

I've played a few courses around the US and this is a beautiful course. I was pleasantly surprised at the views. The beavers and birds were all around the course. The boxes, fairways, and greens were awesome. Just no sand rake. The food was excellent as well. Coming back but brining my real camera. read more

The course was in excellent condition. The greens were rolling a bit slow but very smooth. The workers were very polite. I went and played 18 holes and the course played really easy. As long as you can hit the ball strait it is easy to go low. The course if really short. If the course could just roll their greens faster this could be a high end course. This is a good track and one of two public courses in Cache Valley. This is a great course for walking with fairly flat terrain that weaves itself in and out of ponds and marsh land surrounding the Logan River. The greens can be a little suspect at times due to the large population of geese that frequent the area. It can also be super humid in the middle of summer due to all the water nearby. As for the course itself, it is not long, but fairly narrow. Solid iron play will drive a good score here. There is really no need for driver on the majority of holes. I typically only hit driver on 5, 11, and 18. The new clubhouse is nice and the little grill inside looks to have some pretty decent food options to go along with a nice selection of beverages. All in all this is a fun course that can be played for reasonable price. Definitely worth checking out. read more

I've played here several times over the past three weeks, and the grass is green and the course is in good shape. The fairways are nice but narrow at times, so losing a ball is likely. The first few times the greens were super long and very very slow, but recently they are cut lower and provide a true country club fast feel. This place is one of the best places to visit if you live in the valley or are just visiting for a few days. You can take anyone there if even they know nothing about golf. They even have multiple rental sets that I have used for my friends when taking them golfing. The staff is always working hard upstairs and are friendly. The kids working down in the basement keep the carts clean and will get you what you need if you lose anything. I've spoken to some of the workers and have even started golfing with some of them. They are all just great people. The course itself is beautiful and not too long if you like to walk the course. There are plenty of carts downstairs for you to use and also plenty of pushcarts upstairs if you like them. If you go and play in the summer late in the evening then I would definitely bring bug spray for the last couple of holes. This course is not too hard so its great to take beginners there and also to practice. They have the best range in the valley and a great putting green which you can go use whenever you please. read more

Beautiful golf course! Classically-styled, lots of water, picturesque. The Logan River runs through the middle of it, lining the fairways with massive trees. It gets especially marshy out by the highway, though recently they have been trying to cut out and reclaim some of those marshlands. And it is full of birds and wildlife, especially in the cool mornings and evenings. We used to catch frogs here as kids, but they've strangely all disappeared. Greens are large, but fairways get narrow on many holes, making for a challenging course. Last season, 2015, was the least crowded I've seen this golf course since opening day, which made it all that more relaxing for us golf loyalists. Just beware of mosquitoes if you're playing a late round. They also have a knowledgeable pro, decent fast food in their cafe, great views from the club house, a large lakeside practice green and a driving range across the street. I've never seen another course that embraces the wilds like this. 4.5 stars. read more

Managers were very helpful. Greens are in fairly good condition, but you get a great round of golf for the price of a round.

Today I visited the course and was on the incorrect hole. A Marshall from the course who was off duty beginning his round came over to help navigate me back to the club house. As he offered me a ride in his cart his other partner who was also another Marshall that works for the course drove up and said, "Oh you picked up a b*tch." I was in complete shock. After reporting this to the club house the staffer assured me he knows who said this. I am sharing this publicly as I hope this kind of behavior from staff on or off duty is not tolerated while they are at their place of employment. Thank you to the first Marshall and the help he provided me but also confused as he did not seem that surprised by his counterparts words. I will simply not be returning to the river again. read more

great course, very pretty. the fairways are some what narrow. if you are a decent iron player you will have no problem. you wont use your driver very often if at all. read more

I agree with what Jake P. has written. The course demands accuracy and you shouldn't need your driver much. The course I normally play is fairly open and an errant drive usually isn't a big deal, but that's not the case here. It's a fun course at a good price. read more
