Have a membership and love the concept of privacy while getting fit. I do work out daily. However, the facilities need some major attention. Dirty ceiling fans, stairs and cubicles. Plumbing problems including toilets that don't flush well and sinks that constantly drip. All shower drains are clogged. Many of the exercise guidance screens in the sequences don't work and staff report there is no plan to repair them. Multiple pieces of equipment, including treadmills, bikes and weight machines, are broken or not working at all. There are usually two staff at the front desk, on their phones, computers or reading books. They barely acknowledge patron as they enter and exit. If you mention a need they act out out and never move. The monthly fee is reasonable but they have increased the cancellation fee to $75.00. This used to be a beautiful gym. I loved the concept too. I don't knowbwhy they call themselves Kubex anymore. They treat the cube sequences like an after thought now. I haven't used the weight sequences for a long time due to injury. The screens don't work, they have removed the warm up and everything is dirty and falling apart. The treadmills have been hit or miss for years now. I want to walk on a treadmill that has dividers and actually works. I used to love the concept, cleanliness, culture and layout. If your just getting into weights and working out again this place will not make you feel comfortable. The free weight room is what ultimately has changed all that was unique and great about this gym. Then you raise the locked in prices and charge people to quit after being long term customers. I will be looking for a new gym. Don't waste your money. It's just another small, dirty weight focused gym. read more

They used to have a group fitness class that was fantastic. The manager decided to cancel it. It's not worth it to use the other part of the facility. The equipment is breaking down and it's not worth the membership. read more

All of the machines upstairs are broken and the ones that do work are borderline unsafe. They upped their monthly rate right after I signed up and then charge $75 to cancel. I'm headed back to Planet Fitness. I do enjoy the free weights and how it's a smaller gym with fewer people. read more

Do not sign up here. The machines are always broken. And the management is absolutely atrocious. They would not let me out of my agreement when they closed due to covid. I had to contact them 6 times to get someone on the phone. The staff was very rude and tried to make me feel stupid. Don't go here. read more

UPDATE: 11/04/2017 If you want to spend your money to workout in a gym where literally every machine is broken, then this is the place for you. I really think 0 stars should be an option for businesses like this one. This place has gone from 5 to 0 stars for me in the span of three years. The explanation I have received when asking about all the broken equipment is they're trying to get someone there to take a look at things. And Mr. Harris is very busy opening up new Kubex locations. I'm starting to think Mr. Harris has used and taken money from his Cache Valley neighbors to perfect his concept. We have been used as test dummies and duped. He can now take his concept to other markets where there is more money to be made. Maybe good business ... most certainly unethical and not very neighborly! Unfortunately, Kubex is turning into "that gym". That gym which has been open for awhile and starts to let things go. The parking lot no longer has designated parking spaces. It's a free-for-all. This is manageable if you go when it's light outside. However, if you like to exercise before or after work when it is dark, like I do, it's a mess. I have scratches on my bumper to prove my point. And know I didn't hit another vehicle. I backed into an obstacle near the fence on the north side of the parking lot trying to see/locate a damn parking space. Additionally, a lot of their cardio equipment no longer works as intended. On October 14, 2017, I checked all seven of their ellipticals in the upstairs cardio area. Only two worked properly. I also checked five of their treadmills in this same area. Only three of them worked properly. So, 5 out of 12 machines worked. Why isn't Mr. Harris doing anything about these issues. I'm certain he can see there are no longer parking lines in his lot. And I'm certain he has to know a lot of his equipment is in need of maintenance. People who regularly workout there know which machines to use. He must know. Two Kudos though: the young kids that work at Kubex are still very pleasant and nice and they keep the place clean. Other than that, Kubex has turned into "that gym". You have a great concept Mr. Harris but some upkeep is necessary if you want to keep our business. read more

I have few complaints about the fitness side of Kubex. There are 2 aspects, however, that have completely tainted my opinion of this facility. First: The locker rooms/bathrooms. For a gym that touts privacy as one of their main considerations you'd think they have a bit more than a thin shower curtain. Not to mention the showers are small and the whole room feel extremely under funded compared to the rest of the nice facility. Don't expect any luxuries (sauna, hot tub etc.). Perhaps they could have saved some money by NOT making a huge glass fireplace next to a huge empty conference room, and those tacky Christmas light style palm trees and put in a real locker room. Second (and more concerning): Dishonesty. I won't go into the details but when I spoke with one rep (a manager) I was told one thing (there was a special circumstance involving multiple people) and when it came time at a later date to start signing papers the original promise was not honored. Maybe it was a lack of communication within the facility, maybe the first rep promised more than he was supposed to, I'm not sure. At the end of the day it turned into a car sale style situation where they had to "step out" during sign up and talk with the manager and come back bearing the bad news. It actually is a nice gym for a good work out, as long as you don't mind doing the same 3 circuits forever (they are 3 really good circuits though). I don't see the bathroom/locker room changing any time soon, but maybe they can work on their customer service. The higher prices should ensure a more professional environment. read more

This is the best gym available in Cache Valley. Get your workout done quickly because you don't have to wait for machines! It's clean, well furnished and tons of cardio machines with TV. I went here today for the first time! I was really impressed by the cleanliness of the facility. The circuits are awesome! I like circuit 2 more because I feel it was more challenging for me personally but circuit 1 was awesome because of the individual workouts! Hopefully I will have the chance to go back and try more of the facility. I wasn't too impressed by the smoothie that I had post workout but that's ok. I wouldn't go to the gym just to buy the smoothies. :) went a second time, the chocolate thinny mint smoothie is BOMB!!!! Loved it!! read more

I have to say that Kubex is the best gym in Logan Utah. Great location too. Staff are nice, and the manager here has been really very helpful. I really love coming here and get my workout done on clean equipment. The staff truly prides themselves in keeping the gym and equipment spotless and it shows.
