Then about eight years ago, I got hit with nerve pain after having surgery to "cure my migraines!" If it was not for Dr. Robbins and his expertise on how to deal with headaches and nerve pain, I would not be here writing this review. Dr. Robbins genuinely cares about his patients, he always takes the time to listen. Through his knowledge as a neurologist and a pharmacologist, we are able to control my pain through Botox injections and medication. I highly recommend Dr. Robbins if you suffer from any sort of head pain. He is rated as one of the top ten headache specialists in the country. His staff is extremely caring too! I vote Dr. Robbins staff as #1 in the country! So,you are in good hands. You can read up on Dr Robbins @ HeadacheDrugs.Com.

He helped me to get most of my functioning back, and got my chronic pain under control far beyond the level that any other doctor was able to. My wife and I are so grateful to Dr. Robbins, for all the things he has been able to do for us over the years. As he is currently retiring, we will greatly miss him, and many of his staff. Paul

Gotta deduct another star…read more Do I still love Dr. Simionescu? I think so. I'm not really sure, as I have not seen her since March. Conversation with office person in March: Office person: Okay, so the doc needs to see you in 3 months, here is the referral for your annual brain and spine MRIs. Oh, she has Saturday hours now, would you like to schedule your follow-up at this time? Me: Saturday hours? Rock on! I would love to! So... I made the appointment for June something or other. A week before the appointment, I get a call. The doc is canceling my appointment, she won't be in, would I like to re-schedule? Sure, I say. Can I still have a Saturday? Yes, I am told, and the appointment is made. Or re-made. Today, I get a call canceling my August 31st appointment. Seems like it took the good doc this long to realize she won't be in on the 31st. Me to caller: You know, this is the second time this has happened. Why do you offer me the option of a Saturday if she doesn't want to work on a Saturday? Caller to me: These Saturday hours are new to us. New? It's been 5 months since you first offered it to me! As it stands right now, I didn't make another appointment, telling the caller that I will give it a few more months and hopefully by then, the doc will have made up her mind whether or not she wants to work on Saturday. I did not want to risk making yet another appointment only to have it canceled. I don't handle rejection very well.

My appointment was with Dr. Cacciopo and from the moment I called the office to make the appt. and answer the preliminary questions, they were really friendly and nice. This treatment continued throughout the whole process. Dr. Cacciopo himself was young, "hip" and nice as well. I felt he really listened, explained all my options thoroughly and gave me piece of mind as I weigh the various options related to my ordeal. I'm actually very grateful I visited his office, as his diagnosis and approach is different than my first doctor, so it may be something more serious than previously thought! I highly recommend this office if you need a neurologist, and are a little freaked out by your health condition. He and his staff will treat you with dignity and put you at ease!

If I could leave no stars I would. Do your due diligence and verify the bombastic credentials of…read moreDr. Philippe and her stable of doctors before consulting with the practice. I've emailed and called up multiple boards she claims she's on and the boards either don't have her as a member or the board is defunct. When confronted, my emails were ignored and all my questions skimmed over. Laurie Philippe claimed on her website that "She is a member of the training committee for the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology" also known as ABPN, a well established medical board. A psychology professional would have to be ABPN board certified to be on the training committee. A quick Look up on the website with her name and NPI yielded zero results. And isn't it suspicious that she had since removed that credential after a complaint filed with IDFPR? If she is able to lie about such established credentials, what else is she lying about? It casts doubt on the rest of her listed credentials. And look closely at their positive reviews here on google. They are mostly fake. They are either bought and generically written by some sad sods in Eastern Europe that had never been to the US, let alone the practice or written by personal friends of Philippe. We are from WI, and the first red flag was raised when we have wonderful doctors here, why would anyone drive 1.5 hours to Illinois for a practice with terrible reviews? Unless they are doing something different that other practices in WI are not doing. My Child was taken to this shady unscrupulous practice by her father where she sat in for multiple sessions with Dr. Goldbaum in his attempt to 'buy' a psychological report to sway the court from the practice. Tell me how does a psychological professional churns out a report for court after just one sit down session with a child without one other parent? Philippe and Goldbaum did. And sure wrote 2 very biased report with unfounded claims discrediting me as child's mother. I wouldn't be surprised if Child's Father wrote both reports and the 2 "Doctors" just put their signatures on it. And no worries, Philippe's have no problem lying under oath in court. And my child had came home to me telling me how she's distrustful of Goldbaum and Philippe. Goldbaum is supposed to be the therapist and LISTENING to her patients, not pour out her problems at a 12yo. No patients want to hear about your struggle as a Jewish-Indian or a woman. That's not what you're being paid. And Philippe? My child never met her until the at least 8 weeks at their shady practice. But somehow Philippe could write 2 reports without meeting the child? And my child had told me how Philippe tried to intimidate her and gaslight her, a 12yo child. now I'm so not surprised Seeing other reviews here on how she had disrespected other patients. And that's not all, my child had in multiple sessions told Goldbaum how her father had threatened her life and the rampant drug usage in the house, and how he verbally abused my child in front of Goldbaum, but of course that was all conveniently left out in the report. They don't care about the well being of their patients. Not even an ounce. They only care about where the bill is coming from and whom they can milk. And after reading so many unfortunate reviews of how their patients had been wrongly billed and their cards mischarged, I am actually very pleased my child's father found this crooked practice. Good for him. For professional psychologists and therapists, they sure are terrible at their job for spotting child neglect, liars and mentally unstable people. And the 'wonderful' and 'stable' parent they think should have full custody of the child is a maniac habitual drug abuser who emotionally abuse everyone and also record his own nefarious activities and violent outbursts on social media. Look him up, "Doctors". The signs were prominently there. Maybe you all should quit your day job.

It wasn't all that effective for anything. It created a placebo effect. Worse yet side effects caused my liver ALT/AST to elevate slightly. I visited the emergency room at Northwest Community Oct 8th due to persistent painful erections from the drug. The emergency room doctor told me to start holding doses on it that the drug may be to blame for the ALT/AST elevations (liver enzymes) as soon as I stopped the POISON of a drug things started to get better, and my sleep didn't change whatsoever. My classic sleep medicines just work and the doctor admitted that he tried to fix what wasn't broke and said "Whoa, you're scary when medicines mess up on you, now I see why you told me on your first visit 'don't fix it if it ain't broke'" He profusely apologized and I readily forgave him telling him "Medicine is a practice, it's a collaboration between provider and patient, a good provider is like you, willing to fess up to a mistake or a screw up and take a dent on the ego." He was delighted to hear this and reassured me he would never try to change my medicines again and would happily routinely refill my needed sleep medicine that I have been taking for over a decade. This man is how all doctors should be, non egotistical, collaborative, and when he makes a mistake he owns up to it. I wish more doctors grew a pair of balls like this guy has to be able to take a ego dent.
