We were upfront from the beginning that we had credit issues before we ever put in our application for a home. We were told numerous times that as long as we made 3x the rent and had great rental history, the credit wouldnt matter. That was a lie. We received an IMMEDIATE disqualification after sending them $200 for 2 people. We asked why the automatic denial and they just said that we had credit issues. They acted like we blindsided them. We even asked about getting a co-signer to help alleviate the risk. They said "it's a hard no". Wtf is that? We're not delusional...we know the credit problems make us a risk. But to just steal money like that is really terrible business. What do these landlords think we're doing? CHOOSING to rent? If our credit was good...we would just buy the house. We're renting because we're working on our credit. You guys have lost your minds. read more
