After the worst shopping experience of our lives at Mathis Brothers last year, we decided to try Living Spaces to replace our living room furniture. I went online and shopped for sofas and chairs that would be very durable as our dogs would lay on the tops and crush the padding and our cats would scratch them as they looked identical in fabric to their scratching post. I found a Chesterfield style sofa and club chair made of virtually indestructible yet gorgeous tightly woven linen fabric, and the design was elegant but also with a masculine edge with the hammered nail detail. The price was crazy inexpensive, so we took a chance without even seeing them in the showroom and ordered the entire suite. To our amazement they are very luxe in person and very firm so that our animals will not wear them out for a very, very long time. Our first delivery was missing a sofa because the frame got broken in transit, and the same delivery team came back a week later with a perfect sofa and arrived early in our 2 hour window time. The delivery crew of Isaac and Joaquin were very professional and polite, and we were happy to tip them both times. Purchased a sectional and requested delivery inside my residence. Upon delivery, the movers claimed the sectional couldn't fit through the door and said that I can leave it outside if I can't get it in the door by myself. I tried telling them that the sectional is stuck on the bottom lip of the door way and all they need to do is lift up. Well, I got it inside by myself and they refuse to refund the in-residence delivery fee. Customer support said it's non refundable because they "attempted to" and I can pay a restock + shipping fee if I left the sectional outside. Interaction with the movers was probably about 3 minutes and 17 minutes on the phone with customer service/manager. Either way, I would have to eat the in-residence delivery fee(that didn't happen) or return fees. read more

Purchased a couch and bed from them for well over 5k. The bed is amazing. The custom couch on the other hand not so much. It is a dumpster item after only a year. We were sold a "care free protection plan" what it should be called is "not our problem anymore plan". Seam separations on every single cushion in different places. Claim denied even when it clearly says seam separations are covered. We were told it was a rip and not separation....please see pictures for evidence. Stains? Yes it said it was covered but was also denied. We had high hopes for our furniture as the bed has held up perfect. Unfortunately I cannot and will not ever let anyone I know buy anything from here. I wouldn't even buy the bed over again if I had the choice. I cannot believe this place is still in business carrying a 1.8 star rating on here. Stay away. Absolute garbage. I ordered a set of couches and picked the delivery date. I received numerous emails confirming date with an 8 hour window. I took the day off, without pay to be here for the delivery. Late in the evening I receive an email narrowing the delivery window for the next day to 9am-noon. At 9:31am, I'm waiting for the delivery and I receive an email saying the furniture is back ordered and won't be available for two weeks. They couldn't call me the night before? BUYERS BE AWARE! Living Spaces uses an unprofessional third party delivery service. Living Spaces used Aram Logistics Inc to provide me with a "full service" delivery on 3/24/2024. The delivery team caused property damage and delivered a dirty sofa. They were rough with delivery, did not use a dolly and dragged the heavy boxes in instead of lifting them. Photos were provided to Living Spaces immediately at the time of delivery and the damage was pointed out to the delivery person who shrugged his shoulders and just said "I don't know." Now neither company is taking responsibility for the damage. This is very disappointing because I had plans to purchase a bedroom set and dining table from them as well. So glad that I didn't! Going forward, I hope this review is found to be helpful when deciding to pay the additional $120 "full service" delivery and giving Living Spaces your business. read more

I received my chairs today, and they are beautiful. However, the delivery guy did drop one of the boxes and it rolled off the porch, but the chair was fine. I really liked their communication system. The first email said they would be delivered between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm. However, the second one narrowed it down to noon to 3:00 pm, which is much more manageable. The best part was the last email where you can track your delivery's route. I knew exactly when they would be here, and that was very helpful. My salesperson, Gil, was also very helpful and informative. read more

I bought a dining room set for my daughter who was in the process of moving an hour + away from me. I picked up the table unassembled and brought it to my daughter. We were not able to assemble the table right away because we ran out of time because of the move took longer than expected and the following weekend I returned and we assembled the table. My daughter wasn't able to assemble the table on her own. When we opened the box we found damage. We called customer service and we were told that since it was past 7 days since the table was picked up they couldn't do anything and I would have to file a claim. So I did that and the customer service was horrible!!! The first woman was extremely rude so I asked to speak to a supervisor but of course none were available and I'd have to wait until someone called me back within 24 hours. OK, no one called back so the next day I called back and the same thing, they couldn't and wouldn't let me exchange the table or let me return it because it was past 7 days. They really won't budge from the 7 day policy! No one emphasized that policy to me when I bought the table. So I finally speak to a supervisor and he offered me a 10% discount of approximately $50 and I'd have to keep the damaged item or he'd give me a phone number of a company that would come over and give me an estimate to fix the damage at my expense, one or the other, not both. I told them that this was unacceptable because they gave me a damaged item but they could care less. The supervisor kept telling me how they're going above and beyond by offering me $50. All this because I was 7 days past their 7 day policy and the one year warranty would not cover that type of damage ??? What good is a one year warranty if it doesn't cover damages? I felt forced to take to $50 but I will NEVER set foot in that store again and I hope any one who reads this post will shop for their furniture somewhere else because their warranty is useless and their customer service is horrible!!!!! Do not support this company, if you have any issues after 7 days, you're pretty much screwed. If it were possible to give less than one star I definitely would. read more

They always have good selections, good prices, quality furniture, good but not pushy service, and usually my items arrive quickly, if not on the same day. I did have a little trouble with the delivery guys not being able to speak or understand English. I needed to talk to them about the set up and was not able to communicate. I order this beautiful dinning table from living spaces the table it self is perfect but the chairs, legs will not be flush together I would have to make some cuts to adjust them. I told them and they said they could change it for a fee that's unfortunate cause this is there mistake. I personally would never order from them again there were so rude, not helpful at all. I had a media console delivered to my townhome, and the delivery team damaged my door. Of the three in the delivery team, one entered my home without a mask. They asked me to borrow my measuring tape, had nothing to keep the door open so they bolted the lock. After opening the door and moving the console up the narrow stairway, I heard a loud slam. Unbeknownst to me, the lock has been bolted and my door had been broken .The team left after an hour, and I noticed that my door handle was loose. I opened the door and noticed a huge crack. I immediately filed a property damage claim after seeing the damage. My door doesn't lock and unlock as it did when I used it previously. And I have to use my garage any time I have to leave. Daikon Logistics is denying that any of this happened. Corona Movers is the company they hired to deliver my console. When complaining to the company, they informed me that it's my responsibility to not let people in without masks, and they don't require employees to wear them. They also informed me that the damage to my door wasn't caused by their team, because I have no proof, even though I use this for regularly and it no longer functions properly, and I heard a loud slam during delivery. They also informed me that they do not require their white glove delivery companies to carry their own measuring tape. After the driver left, two of my handles on my console fell off, and I had to wait for three weeks to have it repaired. They informed me that the driver and the company are not responsible for leaving my new media console in an unusable condition. The representative who called me, Erika, hung up on me during the call when she informed me of my denial letter in which I requested coverage to fix my door. Bought a $1000 bed. Gave up a Saturday for delivery. When they showed up, they said they had the wrong footboard and would need to come another day to deliver and assemble the bed. I told them I teach and am not available until 345pm. They scheduled a delivery Tuesday between 12:30 and 3:30. Apparently, I'm close to the warehouse so they come to my house at 12:30. I'm not there. I told Living Spaces I cannot be at the house until 4. They rescheduled for Thursday 2:15 to 5:15. They ring my doorbell at 2:15. I asked if they could wait 20 minutes and I would find someone to cover my class and get home. I got home 20 minutes later and they were gone. I called Living Spaces again and they said they were not able to come back and would have to come another day. Seems to be a no win situation and I'll have to get a refund because they won't make things right when I am not working. read more

The customer service rep was very unprofessional and rude & basically told me to hurry up & decide if I was going to exchange or return because he was going to clock off work. He also told me for an exchange I would have to return the whole bunk bed, after already assembling most of it, I find this ridiculous. Never again. I went to the Living Spaces at the Rancho Cucamonga store. I purchased the Marco Charcoal Queen Panel Bed (one for me, one for my niece). I also purchased the nightstands that go with the bed. They were on clearance but the quality was comparable to the ones that were not on clearance. I love my new bed and I love the nightstands! They are really sturdy. The only complaint I would have is that they try to give the items a sort of rustic look by putting small notches in the furniture. I really wish they didn't do that but otherwise I am very happy. read more

After waiting a week for the delivery of the fourth chair, it didn't arrive, so waited another week and was promised it would be delivered. Anyway, he had to pay an "additional fee" for the delivery to be to his apt door vs "curbside." I will NEVER PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM LIVING SPACES EVER AGAIN. You do not want to buy furniture here. And if you do don't bother buying the extended warranty. They don't stand behind the warranty and the "Care Free" warranty company is ruthless. July 2018 we bought a lift chair. My husband is a disabled Vietnam Vet. He has to use a lift chair to sit and sleep in due to his multitude of physical problems. Our warranty was for three years of coverage. We always buy this because of how much use his chair gets. In January his back started hurting and we then noticed the seat of the chair was tilting. I called the warranty company "Care Free Plan by Uniters - they told me not to file until I had pictures to send them. We are old and disabled so it wasn't easy for us to get the pictures. We had to wait for help. By the time I filed it was over 30 days since we started noticing the problem. So they denied the claim. I just put a random date in January not remember the exact date. I filed about 2/8/2020. Care Free's manager wouldn't even let me explain. I called Living Spaces and Karla - Guest Services Manager kept apologizing and saying sorry nothing I can do. Even though it turned out the chair wasn't put together properly - it had only ONE screw instead of FOUR. What a scam to tell someone to not file the claim until I have pictures. I guess they get out of paying a lot of claims by giving out this information. Living Spaces doesn't care about their clients. I have dealt with a lot of furniture stores over the years and they are the worst I have ever dealt with. GO TO MATHIS BROTHERS - they are a dream to deal with and they treat their customers right. I have an adjustable bed that stopped working and even though it turned out to be my cats chewed threw the wiring they fixed my bed NO CHARGE - NO HASSLE. read more

I ordered a sofa back in October 4. On their website it said "In Stock" and the delivery window was 2 weeks...... It's now been 8 weeks! Some guy said their website wasn't up to date. However, I spoke with 4 people to confirm that it was for sure going to be delivered in 2 weeks. They all said yes. I even got an email the day before my delivery day saying I wasn't going to be delivered on time. So they knew I was supposed to get it in 2 weeks. Not only that, on their website now, the same sofa I ordered says "In Stock". I asked why? They said because they just got a shipment in. So I asked, where is the shipment when I ordered? The guy stayed quiet. Then he said, it's probably only In Stock for certain areas. What full of crock they are. Obviously they make false promises. It sounds great to get your item in a fast time, but after you purchase your item, then they tell you it's going to take 8-10 weeks. And my order was Stock, it wasn't even customized. Imagine if I customized it, I'd get by the year 2022! Lesson learned, I'm NEVER ordering from Living Spaces. Absolutely UNACCEPTABLE customer service! My elderly, disabled Mother, who lives on a fixed income bought an electric recliner here at Living Spaces, and it broke after ONE month! They made us wait SIX weeks for a repair man that is now ordering the part that will take EIGHT weeks! She needs this chair to sleep due to COPD. She is 87 years old! I ordered furniture on line and was told I could pick it up anytime after noon on Saturday. When I wasn't able to pick it up I called the line and they informed me that there was no such furniture available and they didn't know what it was on line. They took my money but never bothered to let me know the order could not be fulfilled. If I had rented a truck and drove up to pick up furniture that wasn't there I would have been even more pissed off than I am now!!! The supervisor wasn't any help in fact they told me it would take 7 - 10 days to get my money back and for my troubles they'll give me $50.00 credit in the store. I call to check the status and they tell me I have a balance due of $11. So 1. I didn't get an email stating I had a balance due at the time of delivery date change because I was offered a deliver change date. 2. When I selected my delivery change date, it said $0 for changing the date. So now I have to wait another week when I moved my furniture out of my room just to sleep on the floor for a week. 3. So Living Spaces Corporate emailed me and offered me two possible delivery dates. I chose 8/17/2020. I just called to confirm tomorrows delivery. I waited on the phone for 1.25 hours. Finally someone picked up. They informed me that my delivery was not scheduled and that I could wait until 8/22/2020 or pick it up myself. I Will Never shop at this low end place again. People go to Mathis Bros. You get great service and they stay true to their word. Living Spaces is equivalent to a dollar store, it's OK if you like low end quality, but if you can just go elsewhere. HORRIBLE !!! i went all the way to rialto to pick up a mattress set and a set of couches ... i get home to pasadena and upon unpacking the couches ... the feet dont match ... the ones that do go with the couch dont fit right ... one of the couches looked used (i paid full price for 2 NEW couches). I had to ask 2 different people for help to pick them up and bring them up a flight of stairs. Their solution? Bring the couches to Monrovia and pick up the replacemnets or they charge me $100 to have them pick up and replace the couches they messed up on ... i called corporate and nothing !!! I absolutely love Living Spaces, it's is such a good and carrying company, the people that work here in my experience are caring and attentive, I've seen some costumers getting disrespectful to the workers, seen it first hand, I'm not saying that everyone is the same, but one things for sure, there will always be bad intended people, I would definitely come back and buy stuff at Living Spaces, there quality and taste is amazing, and me and my husband can always come in agreement on furniture here, I do strongly recommend buying here and if they made a mistake, it's safe to say you need to know what numbers you should call and who you need to talk to, ask for a manager in the warehouse, I'm sure your problem will be fixed if I payed 2,000 on a couch I would pay $100 more to get it replaced, it's about being smart. read more

After purchasing a loveseat online, I scheduled a pick up for today, June 21st, which was a day offered to me for pick up. I phoned multiple times before coming to pick up the item, and I could not get a human voice for me to confirm the pickup date. I phoned all of the numbers I could find. When we showed to pick up our item, we were told they were closed for a "field day." If the distribution center was scheduled to be closed, it should have been communicated to the buyers and not offered as an option to schedule a pick up for today. read more
