I went with my son for bedroom furniture and he told me it was under new management. The former owners got bad reviews from overpriced furniture to awful customer service. My son and I can say the customer service was excellent and the prices were fair and beat out other local furniture stores. A great family now owns the place and they aim to please. I've been back twice to get items for my new home and have been nothing but pleased. I am a genuine customer and plan to go back. read more

I will not be returning to this establishment ever again!!!! .I stumbled upon this place while driving down Alessandro.I was looking for a day/ bunk bed for my boys.One of the own (rude lady) had a nasty attitude and was really snappy with me.I was just asking for the prices of her items. While talking to her I took a few pictures of the furniture so I can show my Husband And she got upset and told me I NEED TO GO NOW.!!! I was the only costumer there (just to be clear and now I See Why) and I want to give everyone else a heads up.....please spend your money elsewhere. This place is shady. There are no prices posted. Now I know why. I was in there Friday looking for a cheap dining room set. Just need it to fill space. I found one and the lady told me 350.00. I had to measure my area and told her I'd be back. Came back Tuesday and it's now 499.00. That's why no prices posted. Guess it just depends on how they'd feel that day. And I agree with previous posters people who work there are rude. read more

Service was terrible. The owner told me a dresser cost $699 the first time I was there and then I came back about 15 minutes later and she told me the same dresser cost $799. There we're also no prices on the furniture. Extremely unfair and horrible service. read more

Wasn't looking to buy another expensive couch. Was referred to Royola for cheap than dirt prices. U get what u paid for. Paid for a custom couch. Very horribly made. It wasn't delivered on time, when I called they were very unprofessional went back and forth wrong sizes, 3rd time around Ottoman was wrong size I just paid to get them out of my hair. Very interesting customer service. Walked through the whole store without any employee acknowledging my presence. The second I go to leave someone asks if I need help. I had gone in looking to see if they had cribs and told her such. She just laughed said 'no cribs' and walked back to her office. Didn't even bother to ask if there was anything else I was interested in, which I was but the interaction was much too awkward. Also, there are tons of signs stating that pictures 'aren't allowed and you will be forced to delete'. Not sure how I feel about that. What if I want to get my husband's opinion before dropping a few thousand and they aren't open when he's available? No problem, on to the next store. read more

I went to look at living room furniture last night and just didn't find the style of couch I wanted. My mom was still in the store looking, she needs a lazy boy chair and was helping me look for other furniture for my new home. As I was headed towards the door to leave, the female sales woman asked if I need help and I said "no thank you, I didn't find the couch I was looking for." The sales woman then said said to me behind my back as I was almost out the door "Too Much"? Why would you say that say to a potential customer "too much"!! What even brought on that comment? How dare she speak to a customer like that. I wasn't rude to her at all. Actually I just bought a new home and need to furnish my home. So I WOULD have been back for other items, but FORGET it now. NEVER will they get my business. Don't go to this place! RUDE UNPROFESSIONAL! This store will never get any business from my friends, family, co-workers as I will definitely spread the word and hopefully you will take my advice. I just read the others reviews - I wish I would have had a better experience. But it is what it is. The short Asian sales lady didn't have to be so rude. I came here looking for a mattress and my parents were looking for a dinning room table. The first thing that feel strange were all the signs saying "NO PHOTOS" which is so weird. It could just be that they don't want people to take photos but it's furniture. Our family members that didn't come with us wanted to see pictures and we also wanted to see if the furniture would work in our living room. I also felt like I was being stalked with 2 workers standing in the distance about 20 feet away from us but following us the whole time. Another thing I didn't like were the prices. Almost everything was the same full price of brand name furniture but the designs of the furniture (a lot of it looked 80s or gotti, not my style) and location of the warehouse made me feel like the prices should have been way cheaper. I wouldn't recommend this place. Do yourself a favor and walk across the parking lot a go to Partners Home Decor, you'll find better prices and way better furniture, I know I did. read more

I was referred to Royal furniture about 4 months ago. I live in Palm Springs so I made the drive to Riverside because I was told they had inexpensive furniture... once I get inside the store I didn't see anyone so I walked all around the store and finally someone appeared to help. I asked if they had a few things I needed and he took me to the location so I can see the items. Wasn't to happy with the style but decided to buy it anyway. Before I made the purchase I asked if they deliver to Palm Springs they said yes for free he added so I happily made the purchase. Once I paid and gave him the delivery info he said "oh nooo I cannot deliver to Palm Springs for free it's a $200 delivery fee" I was a little irritated but I agreed to pay he said I can pay on Delivery day. A week later I called because nothing had been delivered but no answer I had left several messages and nothing! I decided to drive to Riverside so I get to the furniture store and I was greeted by a lady... I couldn't understand her accent, so I showed her the receipt and told her I need it to be delivered so she takes me to the office and she tells me "oh no Palm Springs no delivery you have to pay $400" I was extremely annoyed at this point they convinced me to get a pick up so I did I get to the location several weeks after and they said my furniture was gone. They need to order new furniture I waited a few more weeks. After two weeks I called again no answer so I drove to the location again and demanded my furniture they said if I purchase something worth $800 or more they'll do the delivery for free. it's now been 4 months and still no furniture and I have asked for a refund and that is out of the question. read more

I got my daughter a bed set and we got some couches and they couple who own the store gave us great prices on everything. We got the delivery and I wasn't sure if I should do it my self but when they got here and set it all up for us it turned out fantastic and we are very satisfied.
