If they could have a couple cables and a separate line for the true beginners it would make the price much more worth it, and us along with others I know would be more likely to visit many more times. Only one staff member was truly teaching my children how to actually ride, the other girl there was clearly not into the job and just kind of there. The kid that was helping was very impressive and I was thankful that two hours into being there, on their 3rd try that they finally got some sort of direction for their last two tries. Almost 3 hours of being there and kids only got 4 turns, that equated to them literally falling in the water until the other staff member took over. One of the kids in our group got injured and not one staff member asked if she was ok, truly a learning experience for staff to be a little more vigilant and at least pretend to care. Other than these things my kids had a blast and it is such a bummer to know they would not get enough turns to make the hour drive to this facility worth it to come back.

It's small enough to enjoy for a few hrs but doesn't take all day. It's definitely made more for kids 10 and under id say. My kids are 3 and 6 and loved it. They were tall enough to ride most of the rides and enjoyed the petting zoo. I felt $19 per person was a decent price and parking was just fine. The demonstrations are well attended. It got busy about 11am but it opens at 9:30 so come early if you want to experience it less busy. The workers seemed to enjoy their jobs. Again, very very clean.

Once there we were give three lanes downstairs and Tyler and another employee helped us move tables to accommodate our group and get us rolling. Shoes and beer were quickly and efficiently and it was just the two of them! While we were there they guys were on top of any lane issues we had - much more efficient and quick to respond than a typical HUGE bowling alley. Never waited more than a hot second for a beer, either! Tyler and his employee were super helpful, friendly, and accommodating all evening. Wengers is a smaller bowling alley with only 8 lanes downstairs and 8 lanes upstairs, however, I personally like the smaller venue and vibes. Juke box, vending machines, good beer selection, and they do offer some limited food options. The alley is older but clean and well kept. The screens are no frills and easy to use and navigate. The bathrooms are only one stall and small (and right near some tables... like RIGHT next to them lol) but they are very clean. They do offer rentals for a whole floor for parties or events - that's is pretty cool! They have catering options available, as well. All in all a great experience and I will be keeping them in mind for future nights out, events, and get togethers!

My friend, Curtis, and I enjoyed a fun night of bowling upstairs. When we arrived, there was a league of sorts taking place downstairs, but upstairs only had two lanes in use. We loved the retro style ball pulleys, and the lanes were in good shape! I had to search for a second "11 lb" upstairs, but that wasn't a big deal. Our bartender, Nick, was patient with us and our song choice (which pertained mostly of Celine Dion) and gave us great drinks. I wish they had a more diverse liquor selection, but I made do. Concession stand was fairly priced. Parking was great, but we were here during the January 2024 snow storm, so challenging to keep lanes straight. A few issues: Locker rooms are downstairs and only accessible via stairwell. This was challenging for the boys to get through. There's an elevator labeled for those with accessibility needs only. The entrance has no automatic doors, so challenging to work through traffic there as well. Don't know if it was the weather or just the preference, but the rinks were unusually cold. Many parents opted to stand in the back. (That was probably also for social reasons) Lastly, the lobby could use more seating. I did like the seats by the glass, which gave a nice view of the ice.

All tournament games prior to this semi final game were at a different rink in the city. This place is FILTHY!!!! The doors were locked and 4 teams of children had to wait at the locked doors for close to a half an hour. So did their parents. We walked in and there is garbage under tables and chairs in the lobby, the rugged areas have popcorn and garbage all over them. The stands have, you guessed it, garbage everywhere.One of the sheets of ice has no paint! And there is a squirt team scheduled to play on it right now. The locker rooms are filthy and full of garbage. The other sheet of ice is tore up- it needs to be zambonied twice. And the concession stand is dark with the cage pulled down. Mind you, there are 4 teams of parents and it is 7am- where's the coffee?! The last time we were here, the rink we were scheduled to play on broke the night before and there was a thick layer of water on the ice. The rink put our kids on to play, hours after they knew it was broke. It was dangerous. The game was aborted but it never should have begun. I'd like to give zero stars! This is easily the worst run rink in the city limits.

My friends hosted a birthday party for their daughter at Legacy Stables and we had so much fun!…read moreKarin's Horse Connection is the 501 (c)3 non-profit, while Legacy Stables operates their business which includes riding lessons, horse camps, birthday parties, etc. My friend's daughter loves unicorns, so they chose the unicorn birthday package which included some games, interacting with the horses, access to a private (heated) space, and supervised "unicorn" rides! It was so cute. The staff were so great with the kids (aged 4-10ish) and safety was a priority. I didn't get a chance to ride any of the horses, but I'd honestly like to come back and do a one time ride at some point. I haven't ridden a horse since I was a teenager, and being around them made me really happy. Such a fun spot and they have a great mission of equine therapy.

Not only has she developed physical strength and agility, but she has also learned important life skills such as communication, discipline, and perseverance.
