My wife and I recently moved into a new house and became first-time pool owners. The first week was great, with no issues. Then I noticed the skimmer basket shot up in the air when the pump turned off. Told my old pool guy about the issue and he kinda ignored the issue. When it happened again, I told him about it and again kinda ignored me, but acted more concerned because he started moving the valves around. The problem didn't stop, so I called another guy out. The second guy charged me $50 just to come out and diagnose the issue, which truthfully he didn't. He said I had an air leak somewhere in the line and gave me a few numbers to call. Frustrated and tired (tired because I was opening up the pump cover and adding water on a nightly basis to prevent the pump from running dry and burning up the motor), I mentioned the issue to someone doing work at my house. This person suggested Troy and I reached out and managed to get Troy out that weekend. Troy suggested replacing the seals on the intake valve, adding a few couplers (my pump was also leaking at the top) and adding a check valve to stop the water from rushing backwards. Troy was very knowledgeable and a great help. His wife Erika (answers the phones and schedules visits) was great too, communicated well and got me quotes very fast. Other "Pool Guys" we contacted were quick to quote prices without taking the time to look into the problem. I do not recommend this company, Troy started off great but as months went on the quality of work declined. He either did not show or did not vacuum or scrub our pool unless we were home to watch. When I complained to Erica she stated that her husband had back issues, could not get a hold of him or he had a Doctor's appointment.....(several times, same excuses) No show, no call until after the fact is not acceptable, plain and simple, work ethic sucks! read more

I rarely if ever post a review, but needed to bring attention to Troy at Living Waters Pools. I have owned a pool since i was a kid going back 50 plus years, and have always done my own mainteance. Ran into an issue this year, that was just unable to take care of. I called Living Waters and spoke to Erika whom is Troys wife. She was fantastic and scheduled for him to come out the following day. He showed up exactely on time and they informed me 15 minutes ahead of the arrival. Upon seeing my pool we discussed options and he was extremely professional. I was wanting to replace my filter system, but after examing my system although old was in perfect working shape. He said why spend the money if it is doing the job. He suggested replacing my water, 7 years old with high CYA and putting in a new grid filter. Who does this now days. This will most likely get me through another few pool seasons saving this senior allot of money. Cannot thank you enough for your suggestions. He offered to come by the following day to make sure the part i ordered was going to work on my back flow. His ability to troubleshoot saved me hundreds of dollars, and I know I've been at the mercy of others that just led me the long way around in repairs and money out of pocket, I did not have. I had issues with my pump and called Living Waters to give a try. Troy arrived the next day and started the check the equipment. Very quickly he found that there was a button not activated to make the pump run. He fixed and pump started functioning again. He answered all questions we had and provided great service. He did not even charge us because the fix was minor and politely asked us to call back when there is any future needs. We will be calling Living Waters Pool Service for any needs. Troy and Erika are two of the most personable people I know, and I am glad that I found them to service our pool. From the first contact til today, they have been nothing but honest and hardworking people. Not only were their prices reasonable, and accommodating, but their service proves to be top notch, and well worth the money. I would say it's worth more, but don't want them to know, otherwise they'd probably hike my rate. JK! :D With that said, I cannot imagine going with another company when Living Waters Pool Service offers affordability, dependability, a vehement dedication to their client's pool and equipment, great hospitality, and an overall unwavering passion to providing that excellent service that many companies strive and struggle to provide. I recently moved into my house and was having problems with my pool filters. I contacted Living Waters after-hours over email and they replied right away. We scheduled an appointment for later in the week. He arrived right on time, was very courteous and informative. He explained my filter system to me. I went ahead and paid him to clean the filters, so he could teach me how to do it. After watching the whole process I think I'll just call him back the next time it needs cleaning. He also gave me helpful advice on pool care, although I've forgotten what product he recommended to remove phosphates from the water. I'll have to ask him again. I recommend Living Waters and will be using them again. read more

Had a great experience with Living waters Pool Service! Troy is a one of a kind. Our family pool is normally scheduled to be cleaned and maintained on Mondays. However the high winds in the area made a mess of everything. When I asked Troy if he could come handle our pool situation off schedule, he didn't even hesitate. I tend to wait a year or so before I make a comment about a service company. Many times they start off great then service declines when the techs get comfortable with you. It's been over a year since Living Waters started servicing my pool and I cannot be happier. LW is the 4th pool service I've had and the first one that has identified current and potential problems, fixed them, all at a very fair price. My salt cell pool is clear and shines like a diamond. Would not recommend this company to anyone they came three times and never did anything but added two tablets and skim the pool never emptied baskets swept the pool or even tested the water on the fourth time when their employee came I told him his service was no longer needed his comment was oh well this is only my second job and left I was sent a bill when I contested the bill because no services were ever provided the owners wife Erica sent me a text was not very happy and accused me of canceling the service because I wanted three free services and was unable to pay instead of acknowledging that there employee was not providing the service that was promised to me. Stay away people stay away!!! If I could have given them zero stars I would have. Test your water people if they are your providers for chlorine I can almost guarantee there's zero chlorine in your pool!! I have cameras in my backyard which I offered for her to see if she would like she refused but I was actually home at the time and watched her pool guy through the window, so sad read more
