The staff is amazing, the grounds are impeccable, the units are very high-quality and it's in a wonderful neighborhood... Very close to everything. If you're looking for your next home, I recommend it wholeheartedly!

It's not…read moreonly beautiful, but it's located in the perfect cross-section of commerce and country, the staff is unparalleled with regard to its genuine concern for the happiness and serenity of its tenants, And it's solidly built, quiet, and peaceful. I'm certain that the units all differ, but I am so tickled by the size of the kitchen, the fact that it has a real pantry, the giant bathroom, and oddly, the fact that it has a light switch right in the middle of the apartment that makes it convenient to illuminate anything without having to go too far. That might sound silly, but you'll love it at 3 o'clock in the morning when you visit the bathroom. This community is overwhelmed with amazing personal touches! The exceptional management team here has events that are elaborately well done, courtesies, such as a gift, wrapping station for Christmas Christmas, fun contests, opportunities to connect with local entities, providing goods or services, and never ending barrage of delicious delicacies provided on a beautifully appointed little table right inside the lobby (make sure to sample these when you go to sign your new resident contract). I truly can't say enough about The Oliveen. I'm getting close to my one-year mark and every part of being a resident here has brought smiles to my face. Easily a five-star recommendation!

Parkside Lofts was indeed the worst living and move-out experience I have ever had. Between the…read moremultiple changes in management, the lack of responsiveness, the lack of urgency for a tenet's needs, and the unfriendly community demeanor while in the building, I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMMUNITY TO ANYONE -- especially not anyone of color. As one of few black men living in the building, I constantly received unpleasant looks from staff and other tenants. Additionally, I received phone calls from staff on behalf of other tenants, assuming another tenant's viewpoint was more valid than mine (profiling). Lastly, after moving out I was charged roughly $700 for "damages & repairs." I posted a video [in my Google Review: https://www.google.com/search?q=google+review+parkside+lofts+vancouver&oq=google+review+parkside+lofts+vancouver&aqs=chrome..69i57j0i512j0i22i30l3j69i60l3.6662j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8#lrd=0x5495bb3305b21d83:0xd8b534df48aed3e9,1] of what my unit looked like the day I handed in my keys. While the unit was not in perfect condition, it most definitely did not require $700 worth of work. All in all, if you're looking for an apartment there are other options in the area. I would recommend looking into one of the others, as Parkside's turnover rate is already pretty high.

It boasts a big beautiful green space with walking and biking paths beside beautiful planting's and ponds. The friendly staff in the office and onsite are top-notch. And the maintenance team is one of the best I have encountered. There are good security systems in place, too. Throughout the year Parkside Loft Management plans and hosts special social events for the residents. Yes, there is definitely a genuine community feeling here. I can't imagine living anyplace else.

The maintenance crew has been great and responsive and came to help us pretty quickly The office staff has been great also. They have all been nice and helpful. We have young kids so we have been looking to transfer to a ground unit. Danielle has been helping us with that and has contacted us about upcoming units with availabilities she's been super helpful with that process and other things since we have moved in. The hot tubs, gyms and pools are kept clean. Overall I'd recommend this complex to anyone. Everything is kept clean and maintained well. Prices are fair and often better than other comparable complexes.

Strong property, but adjacent construction + poor communication from management is a major issue…read moreI've lived at The Reserve for one year and like the amenities and location. Unfortunately, the massive construction project right next door is severely impacting quality of life. The City issued Site Development Permit SDP-387344 for the CTC 720 Site / CTC Apartments -- a 240-unit complex on ~11 acres. Grading is already underway with constant heavy dump trucks moving earth, bulldozer sirens, loud engine noise, and truck traffic. This will continue into full vertical construction, including piledrivers, for a prolonged period (likely well into 2027+). As a work-from-home resident, the ongoing noise and vibration make it very difficult to focus or even relax. Property management gave no advance warning or details about the scope and length of the project. Prospective tenants: Factor in this long-term disruption and demand a significant rent reduction for affected units. The Reserve has potential, but management's handling of this situation has been disappointing. Zero communication.
