Prior to booking, because when you book there is a non-refundable deposit, I emailed her to discuss some options. I later booked despite not hearing from her because I saw the open time slots disappearing. After booking still no response besides the automatic appointment confirmation via the site. I then called her and left a voicemail, still no response. I had to message her on instagram explaining I booked but would like to go over the details. There was no apology for her lack of communication, no enthusiasm to go over the details. She just said i should have put what I wanted when I booked. I asked what the setup would be and what to bring/expect but she didn't answer my questions. When it got closer to the appointment she still hadn't gone over anything just said she could do my color scheme and had two walls for the family shoot. Going by the pictures on her website I was expecting a fun person with great ideas to make my daughter's 1 year old photoshoot to life. Instead it sounded like she didn't even care so I canceled the photoshoot via the website, losing the deposit. She never even contacted me to find out why.

I can't exactly remember how I found Liz but I don't care, I'm just glad I did!…read more We booked a studio newborn session for our first little one and the entire experience and final product was more than we could have hoped for. It started with a lovely phone call for us to get to know each other and for Liz to get to know what our goal was for the photos. In our case the studio session was the right call. Our little one had some minor issues that left our hospital discharge date in limbo but Liz was so kind and accommodating in working with us to find the best day. It was a relief because it allowed my husband to join and worked around his crazy schedule. The studio is warm and welcoming. Liz is such an easy and gentle person and it was such a pleasure to chat with her during the session. Being a nurse and having little ones herself made me feel extra safe handing over my two week old for a couple of hours. She was really receptive to our wants for the photos. They turned out absolutely adorable! I squealed when I got the final images. We got some family shots, some cutesy shots, and some detail shots as well.
