When we arrived, the owner was rude, dismissive, and suddenly refused to sell the item to my husband. Whether the item had already been sold, there was a misunderstanding, or the owner simply changed his mind, the least he could have done was treat us with basic courtesy and respect. Instead, our time was completely wasted, and we were met with poor customer service. A customer's time has value. Driving over an hour, arranging funds, and making a special trip based on information provided by the store, only to be turned away rudely, is extremely disappointing. I understand mistakes happen, but professionalism and kindness cost nothing. Unfortunately, neither was shown during our visit. We will be taking our business elsewhere.

Prior to coming to the Diamondaire, we researched several jewelers closer to us and we were surprised at their customer service. We heard things like, "It will be ready in 1 month," and "Why would you want a loupe to look at your diamond... you don't trust us?" We were slow to consult with the Diamondaire because it's about 45min away from us. When my wife first called the Diamondaire, she was immediately quoted a turnaround of 24 hours or potentially same day, with a cost estimate that was under all of the local jewelers around us. When we came to the store, we were greeted with kindness and care that we hadn't found anywhere else. I highly recommend the Diamondaire for both purchasing and repairing your jewelry. This is the kind of service you expect when you are putting down your hard-earned money for high quality jewelry. I was kinda surprised I never reviewed before. No, we are not there a lot, however when we have been there, the service has been courteous and relatively quickly. I have sent several people I know who, when I see them, have thanked me for sending them. As to prices, I think all jewelry stores are expensive. D&D fall in line with an other area jewelry stores. If you want cheap, there is a Walmart about 2 miles south, if you want quality, knowledge and courteous service, this is where you should come. I would highly recommend going here. If you do have an issue, either D or D are there to talk to pretty much every hour the store is open.
