They inspected our 120-year-old farmhouse but overlooked a very long list of important things. They noted on the inspection to simply fix a few GFCI outlets, however, we ended up getting a separate electrical inspection (after we purchased the home) and learned we had knob and tube that needed $12,000 worth of electrical repairs. Peak Performance also claimed they couldn't inspect our septic because they "couldn't find it" - come to find out there was a septic leak into our basement and the basement was filled with effluent and ended up costing us over $10,000 to fix the septic issue that Gina and the team couldn't find. We also asked them if they found any mold, and they said no. 8 months later, our tenant has mold toxicity and is very sick. During renovations, we not only found toxic black mold, but asbestos in the walls and none of this was disclosed to us. The list goes on, but these are just a few examples of what this team overlooked. Due to their negligence, it has cost us $300,000 in renovation costs that we were not prepared for, and that could have possibly been negotiated with the seller had we not depended on Peak Performance's inspection results. During demolition, when they removed the countertop, they gouged my new stainless steel, dishwasher control cover. They agreed to replace it. I called several times looking for updates. Josh never called me to let me know what was going on, after waiting over 7 months; they did install a new control cover. 2. 1 of my cabinet doors was damaged, probably from shipping, which they knew, but didn't say anything until I called them. After waiting many months, new doors were installed. 3. 7 cabinet doors that had to be patched after the handles were installed. They were fixed, some barely satisfactory. 2 doors need to be redone; they did agree to re-patch it again. Still waiting. 4. My wall microwave was not level. They did fix this. 5. I had a chip on 1 of the cabinets, that they touched up. The color does not match. I feel this is unsatisfactory, and they just give excuses, they are not going to fix this. 6. Factory defect on the base of 1 of the cabinets. They did agree to take care of this. Still waiting. 7. The cabinets/spacers around the dishwasher was unacceptable. They have fixed this. 8. I feel that they did not measure my cabinets appropriately because, the upper and base cabinets are not parallel. I have a 3" spacer and 2 inches free on the wall on the top. The, next size up from 1 of my smaller cabinets, would have made this perfect. They gave me an excuse, and not willing to work with me to fix this. 9. The epoxy that holds the dishwasher to the countertop detached. This did not even last a year. They agreed to add epoxy again, still waiting. When opening and closing the door it is rubbing against the cabinet causing damage. 10. A piece of the toekick detached. Did not last a year. They did agree to attach the toekick. Still waiting. Josh and Paul came to my house in May of 2020 to assess my issues. Paul came over again in the summer to make a list of the issues. I called before Thanksgiving and Josh told me, they can't do it this week, maybe the week after that. I called the 1st week of January 2021 and Josh said he will put me on the list, it has been almost a month and they have not fixed these issues. I live 2 minutes from their business, I can see their building from my house. There is no reason why they cannot take an hour to fix 4 issues. Every story has 2 sides, but pictures show the truth. As you can see, I have gone through a lot and none of this is my fault. I am very disappointed and very frustrated with this company. I would not recommend them; therefore, I give them 1 star. On a positive note, Surface Creations of Maine, who measured and installed my quartz countertop, did an awesome job with no issues.

Paul is a talented installer and carpenter, he was able to work with ceilings and walls that are far from level and deliver a seamless installation, with cabinets going to the ceiling. You would never know my ceiling wasn't level given his flawless craftsmanship. I know it took a lot of work and he made it seem easy. Installation was fast, and the time from installation of cabinets to installation of countertops was only 2 short weeks!
