I always find it a huge disappointment when you walk into one of these and the men's section is almost nonexistent. And what is available is like the leftovers that probably would end up at Goodwill. Very few times have I been able to find anything clothing wise. With the pared down selection, and sparse items, this place felt cavernous. To the point if you weren't in here with other customers, you would feel like you were in a movie where you are the only person left. Customer service was over the top here. That is one area where they did succeed at.

Except today when I couldn't wait to get out of the store as it seemed Target was lax enforcing mask protocols with customers. After walking in, within a few feet of the registers I ran into several unmasked customers. About halfway through shopping, I made the decision that this trip was not worth it and headed for the exit. Exiting, I also ran into several unmasked customers near the checkouts. Target did not have anyone enforcing masks at the entrance, which I suspect was part of the problem. I hope the store fixes this, as it's not time to get lax with a possible end of the pandemic in sight.

Big Lots is another overstock/closeout store that opens in vacant storefronts, so depending on what…read morestore you shop at, it can look like an old Supermarket or an old Department store. Just think of an Ollie's with cleaner locations and slightly more expensive merchandise. Muncy's store is located in a former Supermarket outside of the Lycoming Mall. The store is clean and well organized with a better stock of products (especially food) compared to the Bloomsburg location. Where this store suffers is the lack of space, as the former supermarket is smaller then other stores. The food isles are only one person wide, so if you are larger like me, it makes maneuvering hard. The checkout area is also tight and customers who look like they are in line might just be shopping. Overall the store is nice, just crowded.

They sell some brand names and as well as off brand. It's like a treasure hunt! If you find a good bargain grab it because it may not be there the next time you go. Be aware you need to check the expiration dates of food items before you buy. There is a fresh produce, cheese and meats sections. Also a ton of frozen and canned goods, paper products and the like. The store is generally clean and organized. Will continue to stop there whenever I am in the area.
