He gave us a lot of information, answered what felt like a million of our questions, and helped us make a great decision. We are SO HAPPY with our new bamboo floors! After we left I told my wife we are buying floors here just because great customers service. We went back couple days later and made a purchased. Larry was great and went above and beyond for us. Please save your money and save the stress. Paid thousands of dollars for this floor and installation only for it to look like this... it's truly disappointing! I could write a book on the poor experience I have had with this company and installers. They got their money so fixing my floors Is not a priority to them. UPDATE: Keith the owner of the company which installed my floors is rude and has a hard time taking accountability for his companies actions. He has ducked and dodge the issues at hand until I posted this review. He Sent his workers to come in to fix our flooring issues this morning. Only they came and said it's out their hands. They said they never experienced the floors moving like this and said we never seen this issue before you can move the flooring with your hands. Keith tried to tell me this issue of the floors moving and sifting as you walk on them is due the wrong quarters rounds being installed. Lol!!! this is my 3rd home installing this flooring and never ever experienced this problem. Keith has never stepped foot in my home but seems to think he knows everything that went on during installation. Keith is rude, arrogant and really needs to learn his company will make mistakes and that Is ok but you need to fix those mistakes and not blow the customer off. If you want a headache, stress and like to throw money away... Hire Keith!!!! read more

I called a week ago and got Larry, the store manager at the South Elgin, IL store. I was lucky. We needed a floor installed ASAP. He talked me through the different options on the phone. Told me to look on the website as we talked and showed me the floors. We just needed one room done. He easily could have sold me an expensive floor but showed me a very cost-effective route. The service from start to finish was fantastic. And the floor they installed was perfect. I'm a very happy customer. We had such a great experience working with Teresa! This was our 2nd time here, just picking out baseboard & quarter round for a project. Teresa was patient with us, novices who don't buy flooring every day. She was wearing a mask the whole time, even as we were loading our vehicle in the heat. Everything we came for was in stock & in great shape. (We can't say baseboards at other stores were the same.) We will check here first for future projects & recommend the store to friends because of the service & quality. read more

The staff here is outstanding. They all work really hard to make sure the customers are attended to and cared for from start to finish. They go over and above to make sure you are totally happy with your purchase and that you know exactly what you will need for your flooring project! Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere! We initially went into our local lumber liquidators on March 3rd to look into beginning our project. The store was completely busy with only three staff members. While I understand that weekends are probably significantly busier than during the week, our conversation with the store manager kept getting interrupted so that he could answer the phone or attend to other customers coming through the door. It wasn't a big deal to us at the time because we were not in a hurry and he was extremely friendly and helpful. While at the store the manager was very helpful and worked with us to make sure that our project was within our budget. We ended up being able to get the budget where we wanted it to be and went forward with signing the contract. Once we were notified that the product was there we went in to pick it up. Only to learn that only some of the product was delivered and we were still waiting on the remainder of the product, this meant that we still couldn't schedule installation and had to wait another week for the product to come in on the following week's truck. The next week we finally picked up the remaining product on Saturday and were told that someone would contact us to set up installation on Monday. That did not happen. After two phone calls that I made to the installation company, I finally received a call back on Tuesday and set up installation. However, they were not able to complete our installation. They said that the product they needed for two particular stairs was never ordered and they could not use what they were using on the rest of the stairs because the angle of the stairs required a different product. How come the person who came to take the initial measurements did not measure the angled stairs correctly and put in the proper product needed for those stairs? What was our measurement fee for if the measurements were not taken properly? So that weekend, we made a trip back to the lumber liquidator's store. Not only had we had incorrect measurements taken, we now had to place a new order for the proper product and again wait for that product to come in before we could schedule the crew to come back and finish the job. We placed that order on April 6th and that product came in on April 21st because of "a mix up on the delivery" according to the store employee. We picked up our final product for the remaining stairs on April 23rd and then still had to call to have the installation scheduled. On April 24th several calls were made to the third party who schedules that installation. The store offered to not charge for $175 worth of free product. When a customer is spending thousands of dollars, $175 seems quite insufficient. On top of that, there has even been continued issues with the "free product" that nobody can seem to manage to get to us. The store manager had been in contact with corporate and we still couldn't manage to get the product to us in time for installation. So installation had to be delayed, yet again.There is obviously no concern for the lack of customer service provided. Having to call several times a day to follow up on the whereabouts of the product and wondering if the project will ever be completed is not good customer service and is not acceptable to a customer paying the amount we did to have this project completed. The lack of regard to how an unhappy customer is treated is especially concerning. From the initial date of setting up the contract on March 3rd until today, May 17th the project is still waiting completion. We have worked closely with the store manager and appreciate everything he has done to help us out. He has been extremely helpful but unfortunately it is beyond him to fix the frustrations we have had. We have faced nothing but frustration after frustration. If you are looking to have a project done in a timely manner, take your business elsewhere! read more
