My tire sensor kept going off so I stopped by their shop. They filled up my tires with air and the…read moresensor stopped going off but came back on two days later so I went back and they said tire pressure was ok so something must be wrong with the sensor. They looked at my tires and one of them had wires sticking out. I was visiting from California and in a hurry to get home so they put on two used tires. Halfway home I realized the tires were in poor condition and when I got back to California, my tire shop tested the tread and both tires were only at 3. I called them back and they said they only sell tires that are 5 3/4 tread, which is not true. They have a seven day warranty, but I was not going to drive back from California to Arizona to get them replaced. Although I appreciate them finding my tire that was in poor shape, I wished I had looked at the used tires more carefully before they put them on my car. I'm disappointed that they sold me tires that already need to be replaced. I told them not to do this to customers in the future. Below are pictures using the Lincoln Penny method. If the Penny barely touches the hair, it's in the red zone and needs to be replaced immediately. If the tire is in the yellow zone, it needs to be replaced soon. One was in red and one in yellow.

In the end everything looked great andI had no reason to question anything considering I have been here multiple times in the past. On 3/1/26 in the morning the driver side rear tire air pressure sensor comes on. I'm thinking it's due to the change in weather not the tire. I go to put air in it and everything seems fine. When I come out of the grocery store the light turns back on and I decide to go to Big O tires near me. They informed me that the 3 out of the 4 tires sold to me was in good condition and the one that I am having issues in had an existing tire patch/plug closer to the outer edge of the tire and it is no good. The guy also pointed out the tire was cracking and it was manufactured in 2023 and all of the other ones were from 2025. I ended up having to purchase another tire for $129 and spending 1.5 hours in the tire shop on my birthday. I understand that there is some risk in buying used tires but having to spend more money on something that didn't even last a week is ridiculous. Make sure that you thoroughly check the tires that you buy from this shop to avoid this happening to you as well.

Then they charged me to balance them again, even though this was their fault. I recently just had them put another set of tires on one of our company vehicles and two out of four of the valve stems went bad and of course they wanted to charge an additional $15 for their mistake. This location's quality has went way down and we're having issues. We should not have. I would not recommend doing business with this company.
