Apparently I wasn't the only one with that idea because the line was wrapped around the parking lot with at least 15 cars! Even with how busy they were, I was really impressed with the service. Derrick and another young man were outside working the tire fill station in the heat, trying to get everyone taken care of before closing. Derrick explained that since all four of my tires were low, it was most likely due to the storm and temperature change rather than an issue with one particular tire, which definitely gave me some peace of mind. What really stood out, though, was how incredibly kind, polite, and personable they both were. Derrick had apparently been out there doing this all day, and you honestly never would have known it from his attitude. They were hustling to keep that long line moving, but I never felt rushed or like I was just another car they needed to get through. Huge shoutout to Derrick and his coworker! Working outside in the Phoenix heat, filling tire after tire with a line that never seemed to end, and still treating customers with that much patience and kindness deserves some recognition. This is exactly the kind of customer service that makes you glad you chose a company. Five stars!

A quick check of your PSI, a search for a nail or a slow leak, and they'd help you out any way they could no pressure until you actually needed new tires. Not anymore. Now, they've armed the teenagers working the tire check with digital scanners, and those things are being used as sales boosting weapons. Here is the reality I noticed today The operator can easily manipulate how those digital scanners read your tread depth just to help the store hit their sales numbers this is no surprise to me. I went to a location I don't normally frequent and that's probably where I made a mistake because my home location is all youth that live in my neighborhood and would never try to hustle me like this location tried to. If you know your tire is light on air or the light came on only because of a sudden weather change and your tires just need a quick top off, be highly cautious. Don't let a free air check turn into an expensive, manufactured sales pitch for four new tires you don't even need yet.

The gentleman at the front desk patiently listened to my problem and immediately said he'd ask one of the technicians if they could help. One of the guys came outside, got my gas cap open, fixed the issue in less than five minutes, and sent me on my way. They didn't charge me a dime, and they never once made me feel like I was inconveniencing them. They could have easily told me they were too busy, but instead they took a few minutes out of their day to help someone they had nothing to gain from. It's easy to leave reviews when you pay for a service, but I think it's even more important to recognize businesses that help people simply because it's the right thing to do. After stellar Yelp reviews (4 plus) guided us to AMC, paid over $3000 (for a broken serpentine…read morebelt, AC belts, new radiator etc., with all parts warranted per AMC). Confident and relieved we'd found a "go to" mechanic in Phoenix, one month later the car began experiencing intermittent power steering outage issues. Our son (in college and alone far from home) immediately brought the car back in, but AMC essentially refused to pop the hood, or otherwise even look at the car "unless the driver could replicate the issue". Two weeks later power steering and AC completely failed on a busy highway (due to a leaking radiator hose that ultimately fried the alternator). Paid an additional $800.00 (plus towing) to a competitor to fix what AMC should've caught. Also, AMC hours are now M-Th and of course this emergency happened on a Friday. First time Yelp has led me astray. 9/9/2026 - Owner Gilberto immediately reached out on Yelp below apologizing and asking for submission of additional repairs documentation to handle the case "fairly". To be fair, I did not go into specifics of prior phone interactions with Gilberto - owner - after the car was first towed to AMC and the had to be retowed to another shop due to AMC's inability to handle after hours emergencies (eg., no closed parking, nor key drop or other available). While all calls with were professional and courteous, Gilberto was ultimately unhelpful and disappointing (leaving us with limited options). The fact that AMC refused to do anything after the car was brought in by our son (for scary warning signs similar to the original problems) just prior to a catastrophic (towable) failure on a busy roadway is what is unacceptable. Not saying AMC is a bad business, they just really blew it. For minor car maintenance (oil changes and tire repairs) AMC is probably great. For major car repairs go elsewhere in the valley, please.
