I gave this pharmacy many chances with compounding my prescriptions, and they dropped the ball almost every time. Usually they fail to fill one (despite receiving the authorization from the doctor and a call from me to confirm they have all of the information needed to fill it). This, of course, results in delays with getting the medication, and I end up having to skip doses. The clerks have always been friendly here, but I've never received an apology from the pharmacist for my repeated inconveniences. The bottom line is that the communication seems to be lacking, and they are rather unapologetic about what that does to the patient in the long run. These guys (and gals) do a fine job, in my experience. I have never had a problem with them. My prescription was transferred from another compounding pharmacy that went out of business, and I find Lloyd center to be much more reliable than they were. I've never had a problem communicating with them, and they fill the prescriptions much faster than my old place. They are also centrally located, so I can pick stuff up instead of having it shipped. I don't have that much experience with compounding pharmacies, but I do know incompetence and poor customer service when I see them, and Lloyd center does not seem to suffer from either. They are a tad more pricey than my old place, but again, convenience. read more

Great compounding pharmacy and much more accessible for Eastside folks than Community Compounding and much faster turnaround time than Walgreen's one on Lombard. DO NOT SHOP HERE. If you're able to fill your prescription at any other place, you should. This pharmacy cares more about their bottom line than they do about their customers health. I had two days left on my prescription when I called for a refill. My medication is prescribed by my doctor to help me make enough breastmilk to adequately feed my infant daughter. As you can imagine, it is critical that I received this medication in order to feed my baby. I received a phone call back from the pharmacy telling me that they had made a business decision and would no longer be carrying my medication, and that they suggested herbal supplements instead. Herbal supplements don't work for me, but thanks. This medication cannot be prescribed by a regular pharmacy, but has to be compounded. If I was able to give this business negative stars, I would. This business cares more about exactly that, business, then they do about your health. And in my case more about their business than they did about my daughter receiving enough to eat. read more

I met the owner, Don West, when I was checking out the meds my father had been placed on, and wanted to check any contraindications. He was very helpful, respectful and knowledgeable. My impression of Mr. West was he was a man of integrity. His experience was also a big plus, as he's been in his profession for years. Pharmacists have a Doctorate in pharmaceuticals, so they would be my first choice in obtaining information on drugs, side effects, withdrawals, contraindications, etc. I would highly recommend this compounding Pharmacy. They have educational information on many things, including a sheet from the handbook: Medication-induced Nutrient Deficiencies, that you may never be told about by your doctor... They take Blue Cross and Providence insurance I believe. read more

I have been going to this pharmacy for years. The staff is courteous and knowledgeable, as well as easy on the eyes. They always communicate with me if there will be a delay and are very accommodating and quick with my compounded Rx as well. read more

I've now had two prescriptions for my cat called into this pharmacy, and both have had problems. The compounding agent that they use has almond oil (among other things), which seems to be a problem for my cat. They neither disclosed that to me when they took/filled the prescription, nor did they offer me any assistance when I called them back to say "my cat is now sick (and she had been on the drug before, so it probably wasn't a reaction to the drug)." Additionally, when that scrip was filled, they managed to call the wrong number, so my scrip sat on their shelf, and it took me far too long (like 7-10 days) to get the scrip filled. So, I don't think they are a good service provider, at least not when it comes to compounding for my pet or trying to fix a problem when asked in a fair way. They have lost me as a customer. read more

I am a doctor's daughter and wife. I have had a lifetime of surgeries and dealings with pharmacies. Lloyd Center Pharmacy is top notch. I have had incredible service and perfect pharmaceuticals from the pharmacy. I mixed up my medication--- after getting it home---my fault --- and they replaced a three month supply for almost nothing. True gems. I've been to this pharmacy many times - it's near my work - and I highly recommend it. I am part of Kaiser, so don't get too many prescriptions filled here (except when my naturopath writes one). They are helpful and take their time to explain things. I've only had good interactions with them. The main reason I like them is that they carry really good quality vitamins and supplements and they're much cheaper than Whole Foods and New Seasons. They also have some cute cards and small gifty-type things. Keep in mind though, that this is no NYC Duane Reade. It's a small compounding pharmacy and is limited in what it carries. read more

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! My wife called to get a compound prescription filled and they filled the wrong dosage. When we called to get it sorted out, they refused to refund us AND charged us half price to make the correct one. The second "half price" charge happened without them ever receiving permission from us to charge us for the second, corrected prescription. The "owner" refused to ever talk to us and refused to admit their mistake in any way. Somehow the Pharmacist thought a half price prescription was generous of them. Seriously? You screwed up and thought we should be happy that you charged us again, without our permission? read more

I feel like I must be going to a different place because I always get great service and everyone there is knowledgable and extremely helpful!! They were the only place in Portland and Clackamas that would order a medication I needed from a specific manufacturer!! Now they make sure it is there each month for me. I like them a lot and they must read Yelp because they do sell bottled water...just ask! read more

I will not be going to Lloyd Center Pharmacy again after today. I understand compounding pharmacys need more time to fill prescriptions. I generally give them four to five days to fill my prescription. However, their lack of follow through and sense of urgency is incredible. I called in my current prescription over a week and a half ago and asked to have the prescription mailed to my home. I called this morning and the prescription was not ready. Apparently they faxed a refill request to my doctor and they hadn't heard back yet. Did they think to call to check on the refill? Perhaps refax the order just in case it didn't go through? No, they did not. This is just one of several similar issues I have had with this pharmacy. I'm done. read more

They are one of the worst pharmacies ever!!! Horrible customer service with a complete lack of empathy. The staff is rude and short with their customers. I should have done my research before I filled my medication with them because I called another compounding pharmacy that could have filled it at almost half the cost. Another great experience getting an obscure prescription filled. We come into Portland from Hood River and usually don't have a lot of time to wait. This one was made up from scratch within an hour, and we even got a choice as to the flavor. All of the staff was attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. If I could give Lloyd Center Pharmacy no stars, I would. They frequently do not have my medication in stock. Today, I called to check on a refill request for a medication I had waited nearly a week for. I learned that they had sent my refill request to a doctor I had never heard of. By this time, I was out of the medication. Although I had made it clear that I was out of the medication, the employee did not inform me until I asked specifically that they were, once again, out of my medication, and would not have it for several days. Unfortunately, I will probably continue to give them my business because I have a prescription that needs compounding, but I've had better experiences with Northwest Compounders and I'm considering moving my business there. read more

Lloyd Pharmacy has been filling my prescriptions for a while and every time they get worse and worse. They say they have a 3 to 4 day turn around but it is getting to be 5 to 7 days now every time. They don't call and confirm or let me know when it's ready and don't care when I have complained. In fact after I complained because my prescription was running out and I needed the new prescription they really got bad almost like you go on a black list or something. They have been rude and have even tried to say they did not receive any refill order from our Dr. when we know it was called in as does our Dr. DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY!!!! read more

Had an upgrade to an exisiting presecription and waited and waited at the prescription drop-off window. Finally, someone waited on me, and said they would call in the afternoon with the cost of my medicine. I had been going to a compounding lab in Wilsonville, but thought that a closer one might save me some time & $. When they called me later, the cost they gave me was nearly three times the cost of my former supplier. I won' go here again. read more

There were still people inside and they let me in and gave me my prescription even though their registers had already been shut down. They really saved me! read more
