This guy right here this guy right here is the real deal. 1. Yes you might have to wait but it is a mechanic same as you have to wait in your doctors office. But a little less about 1 to 3 hours 2. He is great when he tall to you on the phone and tell u how much he will charge you it will be the same as when you get there . 3 really nice him and his wife is. No extra charges or hidden fees will be coming back to him for anything thing else . Lloyd, his wife, and his mechanic absolutely saved us yesterday. Our experience matched the other reviews here already. We went from broken down on the side of 95 to fixed in 2.5 hours. Our Mazda CX9 lost power steering just south of Dillon on the way from Florida back to the Northeast. The power steering belt was completely gone. It was a Friday afternoon over the holidays with no Mazda dealer anywhere nearby. We assumed we'd be stuck in Dillon for at least a day. Geico assigned Lloyd's as the tow company. We asked him if any chance he could also take a look and try to help us. From the start, it was one of the best experiences we've ever had with any mechanic, especially given the timing/situation. First, he got us towed within about 20 minutes. He also had his wife come out with their personal truck so our whole family could get a ride to the shop. Next, he fixed our car right away. He got it up on the lift, confirmed the power steering belt failure, checked out everything else around it, tracked down a replacement belt in town, installed it, and got us back on the road. He was friendly, transparent, and his prices were 100% fair for the repair. We made it back to the Northeast earlier today with no problems. Thanks to the previous reviewer (for knowing who to take my truck to) and a lot of thanks to Lloyd and his mechanic, we made it safely to Florida. 5 star service, quick and inexpensive, If I was still stationed at Ft. Bragg, NC I would drive there for car service when needed. They repaired the brake line in the time it took to eat breakfast next door and we were on our way again down the road. THANK YOU LLOYD! LLOYD & ANTHONY TO THE RESCUE! Driving North from FL, about 25 miles from Dillon, SC, we hear a clunk and immediately lose power steering while the break, battery and R. Diff temp lights all cam on simultaneously. After calling a couple places on the yelp list, Lloyd diagnosed the problem by phone and told us to come in even though his shop would be closing as we were arriving. He was concerned he wouldn't be able to fix it til morning, but when he popped the hood he realized he could and 20 minutes later and for a very fair price, despite working overtime, Lloyd had us on our way. These guys were excellent and if you have a problem and are in the vicinity (off of 95 next to the Love's service station), go here. Lloyd's Auto Center was amazing!! We were on our way to FL from MD when our car belt started making noises at the South of the Boarder. We decided to have the car looked at as we still had a 600 mile drive ahead of us. After asking a few locals of a place that was open on Saturday at 8:00am we were directed to Lloyd's Auto Center. We pulled up to Lloyd's and within 10 minutes they figured out what was wrong with the car and had the part on its way. They told us to come back in a hour and it should be fixed. Once we arrived back at Lloyd's not only was the car fixed it was waiting on us!! The prices are beyond reasonable and the service was impeccable. If we lived in the area I wouldn't trust my vehicles with anyone else!!! read more

Reading the other reviews made me chuckle...I too go stuck in the Bermuda triangle between FL and my parent's house in MD. It was noon on Sunday when I pulled into a gas station in Latta, SC thinking all was well and when I went to start the car again the starter decided it didn't feel like starting anymore! Its cold outside, I had a BAD head cold, my voice was hoarse and I was miserable. I was traveling by myself which is scary enough and thought I would have to leave my car and walk to a hotel or tow it somewhere and sleep in it if there was no hotel I could get to. I used my phone to look up auto mechanics and Llyod answered the phone and came to the rescue. I was back on the road and made it safely to MD and back to FL with no other issues. Driving a 13 year old car north from Florida and the back window jumped its track. I pulled in at 4:45 PM. Judging by the number of cars that seem to break down right around Lloyd's, It seems like Lloyd managed to set up shop in the highway version of the Bermuda Triangle, and I'm sure glad he did. My family was traveling from VA to FL for Christmas on Dec. 23rd. Just a few miles from Lloyd's right after we left South of the Border, our Honda Odyssey mis-shifted. A minute later, it did it again. Then, when we were within sight of Lloyd's, it started bucking wildly, shifting into second gear (at 75MPH) and then back out. We managed to pull over safely, then limp it to the exit by driving on the shoulder. We brought it to Lloyd, and he took great care of us! Even though this was 3PM on a Friday two days before Christmas, he was happy to take a look at the car and talk us through our options. He was very friendly and helpful! We wound up having him order a rebuilt transmission and a transmission cooler for us, and then he arranged for a shuttle to take us to a nearby town with a car rental shop. We rented a van to use to get us the rest of the way to Florida and back, and when we returned on January 1st, Lloyd came over to the shop on a Sunday so we could pick up the car. The quality of the work was top-notch, the car now runs perfect, and his prices were excellent. If his shop wasn't 10 hours away from my home, Lloyd would be the only shop I'd take my car to. read more
