We ended up near the cheering section, which was fun and lively. The arena itself is tiny, with only one level of seating and a small concourse with a couple concessions stands. This arena is interesting because it houses two different restaurants that have a view into the arena from inside the restaurant. So in theory you could just get a seat at one of those bars and watch the game without having to pay for tickets to go inside. We were able to find free street parking nearby, which was great. I'm not sure if they have a designated lot or parking garage. I only saw one restroom area inside the arena which was a bit of a walk from where we were sitting. The facility was clean, kind of smelly from all the guys playing soccer, but not too bad. The game itself was really fun, with high energy and some pretty competitive players. At the end of the game, everyone got to go out onto the field to chat with the coaches and players and I saw lots of little kids getting items signed by the players, which was cool. I'm glad we went and would go to another game in the future.

I drove my beater low gas milage car to work. While this did happen to be a 2hr parking spot no other buissnesses, residents or even the police enforce this rule without coercion as they understand parking is typically either "feast or famine" in this area; only busy afternoons on weekends or during festivals. Ive lived in this area for 2 years now and none of my neighbors or myself have ever recieved a parking ticket for parking in these areas. That is, Until i parked in front of the Karen owner of the crew's hair salon. She will not write a note or take a lesser means to address the situation she will immediately waste tax payer funds and the police's time. When i called her to let her know my truck would be there for the next 24-36 hrs and to please not call the police for another ticket she immediately became defensive and upset under the guise of convenience for her customers. Although she would mention to me herself, there is plenty of parking available ( for her customers also) when the festival is over, her business is open and im stuck in the hospital. Yep. I dont know anything about the quality of the haircut at this place but the owner is sure not worth supporting.

I give them 5++++++++ stars. Our Chamber of Commerce is AMAZING! Our downtown used to be in…read moreshambles. Now they are the key factor in revitalizing Muskegon's downtown area. They are helping attract and support small business that are thriving thanks to all of the promotion that the Chamber does. They have helped bolster the Farmer's market and many other downtown offerings. They are fully involved in the Watch Muskegon campaign and everything that campaign is doing. I can't say enough about the people who work there and the direction that they are moving Muskegon. It's amazing and it gives us hope and builds our sense of pride. Muskegon is such a great place to live, work, and play and we are so glad that we have such a good Chamber of Commerce that helps promote it. Thank you to the Chamber!!!!

A beautiful and historic library that has been maintained very well. Even the wooden carved chairs…read morefrom the 1880's still bare the Charles Hackley initials like they were made yesterday. The details in this library are absolutely breathtaking inside and out. Come here just to see all of the beauty, and wonder why people don't put nearly as much love into making buildings today. Prior to the shutdown, I visited and looked for several books for my son. I did notice that some of the kids books, at least in the "dinosaur" section were pretty worn and old, so I was already worried about germs. Post pandemic, they are open limited hours and don't allow browsing in most sections, but I have still popped in several times to pick up books. They "quarantine" books upon return to make sure they are safely ready for the next visitor. Reading is a great thing to do during the pandemic, so keep visiting the library!
