Then sat in a hygienist chair waiting for 40 minutes... at 10:15 I asked when he was going to be seen. The office manager came in and I asked how much longer it was going to take for him to be seen. She told me they schedule for 90 minute appointments. At this point we had already spent 50 waiting to see a hygienist. I asked why the appointment was made for 9:30 knowing we were going to have to wait for so long? She asked, "would you like to cancel these appointments"? (It was going to be my two sons today, and myself and daughter tomorrow.) I hadn't even considered that, but given the attitude of the "Office Manager" that was seemingly the best option. The Manager was condescending and smarmy when I was asking how much longer it was going to be. When we were walking out the door, I told her I was going to leave a review, the Office Manager calls, "bless your heart". Such an utterly disrespectful, unhelpful woman. I would encourage you to find another dentist. Unless you like being talked down to, your time disrespected, and being treated like you're an inconvenience... then this is obviouslythe place for you.

Now that's customer service! He and his staff exude professionalism and he knows more cutting-edge technique than any other dentist I've ever been to. Dr. Wright's office is full of all the bells and whistles we've come to expect, with premium equipment, flat screens,and headsets, and he's more than willing to seek out and purchase any proprietary tools to work on other dentists work. He has such a cohesive staff that works well together. They are very competitively priced and have early hours, too, so it's easy to get in before work. And, it's only about 15 minutes west of Fort Worth in the quaint "home town" of Weatherford ...definitely with the drive. If there is a Heaven, I'm sure this place is it!

I went back a month or so later with pain again in one of the filled teeth. I ended up needing a root canal (not due to their work, it was a large cavity) which stinks but I was credited for the previous filling! Great! Also, it was a mostly painless experience. The dental tech (can't think of her name currently!) is amazing at explaining what's going on and she was reassuring when we got to some tough spots. Healed well and I'm back in action. Occasional Saturdays available which is helpful because during the week they aren't open late. My insurance takes this office so I haven't found them to be unaffordable. They have in house payment/credit type programs available I believe.

This is the second time I came into this business where the lady in the front desk was rude and unfriendly to me. When I walked in, she stared at me (she wasn't busy at the time), never smiled, never said hello and curtly said, "What is your name?" in an annoyed rude curt tone. BUT ONE MINUTE LATER a Caucasian male walked in and she was super sweet as pie to him and said "Hello! How can I help you Sir? What is your name please?" When I complained they told me to find another dentist which I did. My dentist who I have been with for years now is a million times better than this one. From the moment I walked into 1187 Dental, I knew it was different then dental offices I had been to before. The front desk staff was amazing with figuring out my insurance information, and walked me through the whole process. (Thanks Amber!) When I was led back to the dental chair, they offered to play whatever music would make me comfortable. Dr. Rezsofi came in almost immediately and spent quite awhile talking to me about my fears and making me comfortable. He never acted like I was being silly, and truly listened as I explained why I was afraid. Amber was equally awesome as she took x-rays and explained each step before she proceeded. They even had a tv over the chair so I could see the results of the X-Ray. I had come in with a painful and inflamed gum and Dr. Rezsofi was able to quickly establish what was wrong, provide temporary relief, and outline what we would need to do next. Since that first visit I have rescheduled three times. Once for a cleaning, once for wisdon tooth removal, and once to have some minor cosmetic fixes to my front teeth. For a girl that refused to go to the dentist this was a BIG change. I truly appreciate everyone at 1187 Dental for helping me ensure that I can take care of my dental health without fear. My mother (age 76) saw this dentist and was told she needed major dental work replacing old crowns…read more The doctor created a plan that would have required work on almost all of her teeth. She was told they would sedate her and do it in two phases (top & bottom). She was quoted $16,000 for the first phase and then they helped my mother open a line of credit to pay for it all. Thankfully she called me before she had the work done. I took her to my trusted family dentist when she came for a visit. Our dentist took new x-rays and said that in fact NOTHING they recommended was necessary. She also reviewed all of the billing codes they quoted and found questionable billing throughout - many codes were duplicated/unnecessary. She said what they wanted to do was absolutely criminal, and she is planning to report this practice to the TX State Board of Dental Examiners. I'm disgusted that someone would take advantage of an elderly patient like this, and I'm also left wondering how many times they've done this before. Terrible.
