He continued to ma'am me, and when asked to stop, told me to get out. the regional manager also started with "I'm sure you have laundry to do since getting back from vacation". Please tell the little boys who work for you that my father was a master mechanic who worked on planes and cars my whole life, he's dead now or he'd have fixed this. I've checked my own oil for over 30 years and know about my car very well. I have maintenance records and take good care of it because they aren't made anymore and I love it very much. beyond that, I'm not some broke trash who can't afford to fix her car. I work for a multi billion dollar software company and could have built the computer Jacob was using to browse tires rather than focus on my car. they both treated me like an idiot woman and I. 2025, that won't fly. I'm taking g this car to Hyundai now, and if I find out Jacob's crew did indeed break it, I'll be back to tell him and hand his hateful self an estimate for repairs that they will be paying for. and if he catches an attitude again, it won't end with me leaving g peacefully this time.

I was in the market for a reliable used car. I found one at a dealership in Center Point. The car…read morelooked nice, but I still wanted it looked over by a mechanic. Christian Brothers does pre-purchase vehicle inspections. They have two types of inspections. One is basically visual inspection and the other is an in-depth check of the car. Of course, I chose the more detailed inspection. When I went to drop the car off, I was greeted warmly by the man at the first desk. He recognized me from the phone. I received text messages letting me know when my car was being serviced, when it was ready, and a link to a report of their findings. The report was thorough. They even attached a video clip to demonstrate something that needed to be fixed. When I picked the car up, they reviewed the report with me further. They didn't push me on trying to have repairs done with them. The helped me decide to purchase the car. The report definitely helped with me being able to negotiate the price of the car to a more favorable price. If you need an used car looked at before buying, they can help you with that!

I had a very frustrating experience with Christian Brothers Automotive in Trussville. I took my…read morehusband's Audi in on a Monday for what we were told was a water hose and a few other hoses that needed to be replaced. What should have been a fairly straightforward repair ended up taking over a week. Throughout the week we were given multiple updates that turned out not to be accurate. Starting Wednesday we were told the car had been pulled in and was being worked on, and at one point we were told it would be ready, but it wasn't. Each day we kept getting different information, which felt like the runaround. We didn't end up getting the car back until the following Tuesday. Being without a vehicle that long was a huge inconvenience for our family. When I asked if there could be any type of discount because of the delay and miscommunication, I was told they couldn't offer any percentage off because they had to use a more expensive part for the Audi. While they did apologize for the miscommunication, the overall experience was still very disappointing. To make matters worse, about five days after getting the car back, we started smelling gas and had to bring the vehicle back again to have it checked. That was very concerning, especially after just having repairs done. I understand that repairs can take time, but better communication and making sure the job is fully completed the first time would have made a big difference.

I live in Birmingham but I bought a Groupon for this place for an oil change and a "full…read moreinspection" because it was a good deal and not a chain place (local but not necessarily local to me). I drove out there Friday and told the guy I had the oil change Groupon, he said he was fully booked up for the weekend and asked if I wanted to make an appointment for Monday. I show up for my 11am appointment today and say "hello" in the office and garage a couple of times and see no one. Finally a man emerges. He asked how he could help me and I told him I had an 11am appointment and he replied, "today?", and seemed confused that I would've made one for today. He goes in to the office and dips out of sight for a second then comes out and asks if it's for a Groupon. I say yes and he tells me that they're not supposed to make appointments for Groupon and they can't honor it and I'll have to figure out a refund on Groupon's end. I say okay and then ask if he can do an oil change without a Groupon today. He says no. Does not offer to schedule me an oil change for later today or another time. Seemed like the guy didn't want to do any business with me. The best part is this morning I almost bought an entirely DIFFERENT Groupon for brake pad work from this same garage!

Lack of Accountability: No refund, apology, or effort to correct their mistakes--only deflection and aggression. Avoid this shop at all costs. My experience mirrors other reviews praising their "honesty," but their true colors--dishonesty, incompetence, and bullying--emerge when challenged.
