I recently moved into a flip and, to both of our surprise, discovered feet of concrete and bricks stuffed in the middle of my chimney -- meaning my hot water heater and gas line weren't venting properly. Oscar and his team quite literally saved my life. When you buy a new home, you never know what surprises are waiting behind the walls. Oscar went above and beyond to make sure I was safe, that the job was done correctly, and that they'd leave with absolutely no trace they were ever there. Mid-project, they had to open a wall, and not only did they patch the drywall, but they painted it, too -- you'd never know it was touched. He took the time to explain everything in detail so I could actually understand the process, documented every step, and made me feel like a true partner in the project. One thing he said that really stuck with me was: "I know you own the house, but it's our fireplace now." That level of care and pride in his work says it all. Oscar is the definition of integrity, skill, and kindness. If you're lucky enough to get on his schedule, you're in the best hands possible. I can't recommend him highly enough.

They charged us over $400 for an inspection and what they called a 'cleaning' which involved…read morevacuuming out the box of the insert and the top of the stove. They weren't able to clean the stove initially because they couldn't get the cover plate off the insert. We took it off with a grinder and then they charged us another $100 to vacuumed the top if the stove, which took all of 5 minutes, and they missed a bunch of creosote mess (that we ended up vacuuming out ourselves) in the back of the stove. So we basically paid them another $100 for doing the work ourselves. Their strategy seems to be to give you a reasonable quote for a cleaning and inspection (~$120) and then tacking on additional costs for any little thing. Their approach is to take advantage of the customer whenever they can. Stay away from them!
