Victor Marini was friendly and a pleasure to deal with, was reasonable throughout and patient as my wife and I had questions on the layout and size of an extra parking spot at the base of the driveway. Marini just finished tearing up my old driveway, and putting in a new one. Though I can be difficult to please, Vic and his team did an exemplary job. Let's start from the beginning: Responsiveness - my call was returned and I received a quote fairly quickly. Price - lower than 2 other competitors. Communication - showed up when he said he would. Manpower/attitude - Numerous workers; professional equipment; excellent communication (since I was hanging around); respected my property; left it perfectly clean. The finished job - terrific, and though he wasn't able to reach me, he felt that there was an additional improvement that he would have wanted on his own property, so he included it at NO additional cost. We hired Marini Paving & Masonry to replace our old tired driveway, roughly 2500 sq ft. with a sharp left and on a 45 degree incline off of a trail in Oxford. We recently used Marini Paving for the second time in 4 years. Our first project in 2020, they were able to solve a major drainage issue that we were having in our back yard. I am very pleased with the results of my new driveway From the negotiation of the contract price to the final product, all went smoothly. The installation crew showed up on the agreed start date early in the morning and removed the old driveway surface and prepped the surface. The next day they were back and installed the new driveway. After receiving estimate made an appointment which I received in a timely manner. Was called the night before to verify and crew showed up as was told. We had our very large driveway redone this past summer. After having experienced each extreme of the season, I am coming back to write my review. The new driveway has held up great through the hotter end of the summer, and also a fairly snowy winter. The company was very communicative and able to work with me through my requests, including re-seating the existing belgium block and running a conduit pipe under the driveway for our electric fence. Marini did a great job re-paving my driveway. Demo'd and removed all the old asphalt--it was close to 30 years old and cracked all over. Re-set the loose Belgian blocks in new cement, re-graded the whole thing, including filling in the sink-hole in the corner opposite the garage with new dirt, gave it a few days to settle, and laid down new asphalt.
