Slid in an hour before closing; many "regulars" still there, engaging with the friendly owner. I asked the waitress if they could do poached eggs? Yes, of course. Good. Poached eggs, side of feta & spinach, toasted English muffin, to make Eggs Florentine. Not on the menu, no worries, I'll pay whatever, I'll assemble it myself. She came back to ask how many poached eggs? Two please. So excited! So hungry! So sad when I was served two fried eggs. The griddle must've been really hot, because the undersides were brown and scaly. It's why I only like poached. Waitress understood, apologized. No worries, bring me two poached eggs and I'll keep the muffin, spinach, feta. Hot eggs on top will be fine. Friend went ahead and ate his eggs. No complaints. As he neared finishing, my eggs showed up. Poached attempt, but whites not cooked completely, not even hot. So disappointing. Waitress finally came back when he was done and mine were inedible. I was just so sad. The owner must've noticed because she came over and tried to make it right. Took it off the bill. Offered me donuts. I appreciated the offer but no, off the bill was fine. It was then I realized she really cared. She went above and beyond. Put together an insanely generous bag with the day's leftover bagels & a few donuts! We left with this epic haul so when I got home I made my own eggs and had it with the most delicious bagel ever! And the donuts? Amazing! It was the end of day and the griddle person was probably exhausted but I will come back, for donuts and bagels, yes, maybe even for poached eggs, but mostly just for the hospitality. An owner who cares is truly hard to find. And look no further, she's here. Five stars for the service & concern I left happy. :)

Met Victor and his wife who were very chatty and friendly. Almost the 5pm closing time, which reinforces the fact that this bakery is a breakfast/late lunch eatery. No customer bathroom in view, only a door that says Employees Only.

The price was right, the latte perfectly made and the cookie was tasty. The ambiance was nice, the kind of decor that you'd expect in a quaint little cafe. The store was clean and there were a few people sitting at tables. They had a nice selection of Latin pastries. The employee greeted me and told me she'd be right with me. I had to stop at The Fresh Market which is next door for a fruit platter. I could have easily bought sweets at the Fresh Market, but I wanted something a little more special. They are expensive, but taste and presentation is everything. Thanks to another Yelper for posting a review about Key Lime Tarts. My aunt from Ohio loves them and she is coming down for a visit. I plan on bringing her here and add this bakery to the Key Lime Pie adventure.

Parking was easy in the lot that the biz was located in. We walked in and were greeted by the staff and the space was nice and clean. We ordered an All-Nighter sandwich to share. This has double egg and American cheese, bacon, smoky chipotle aioli on a cheesy hash brown gourmet bagel. I'm not usually a fan of bacon but this sandwich was good! A great spot to stop by for a quick breakfast!

If you are not sure what you are looking at, just ask. Another cool thing are the corn dogs. These are not ordinary corn dogs. You have a choice of cheese or hot dog filling or both. There are toppings, sauces...totally debauchery! We had several donuts, they were sweet and fresh. I couldn't refuse the 1/2 half corn dog. It was just the right mix of savory and spicy. I came in fairly late in the evening, so I completely understand that the display case was almost empty and that they had run out of their signature boxes. The few donuts that were left were packed in plain plastic containers, which was a little disappointing since these were a surprise for my kids and they really enjoy the cute branded boxes. The biggest disappointment, though, was when we got home and realized that the donuts weren't fresh. Since my kids love MaMa YaTai, I was especially disappointed by this visit. That said, I realize I came toward the end of the day, and I understand that things can be different later in the evening. We've had much better experiences here before, so I'm hoping this was simply an off day. I'll definitely give them another chance earlier in the day.
