Been wanting to stop by Parlor Doughnuts ever since i saw they had savory donuts. I stopped by in a Sunday morning with my friend to grab some. The location is very nice i love the americana style with military memorabilia. Im a sucker for vintage so i loved all the bits they had around the store. I also loved the little black pup photo area they had with all their furry visitors... so cute. The guy who attended us at the counter was patient and gave us the time needed to get our orders together. I decided on getting the pig & fig. Took 10 minutes to come out but very worth the wait. The sweet and savory combo was my favorite. I ordered a vanilla bean cream latte. It was on the strong side and did not taste to much of vanilla as i would think. As for the sweet doughnut... i took four hime for the family. I took to go a strawberry shortcake, french toast, cookies n cream and bourbon butterscotch pear. I've heard of this place for forever but never been until today. My friend wanted to go to try the savory doughnuts and while I was skeptical at first, they turned out to be sooooo goood!!! I got the chicken bacon ranch doughnut as well as the Parmesan bites and the sandy beach, cookies and cream, and maple bacon doughnuts. Everything was 10/10 and staff were super nice and helpful. There's a couple tables and chairs inside as well as outside along with 2 gender neutral bathrooms. They also have free cold water and a station for silverware, napkins, sugar, etc. I will say this place is a little pricey at $4+ a doughnut, but they are pretty decent size and delicious. My hubby and daughter brought me a treat home. They went to this shop and grabbed me a maple pecan donut, and it was so good. The inside was soft and pillowy, not too sweet, I had just the right taste. I ate it before I could get a picture of it. They also bought me one called bourbon caramel which I haven't tried yet. Hubby got a Sandy beach donut which is similar to a cinnamon bun and my daughter got a chocolate chocolate doughnut, both look amazing and I have no doubt that they will be as good as the one that I had. I am not a person that will drop everything to go get doughnuts but this place is the exception! Every time that I have come here, I fall in love with the doughnuts with each bite I take! The place is amazing as well as the staff and product they sell! I will say the only thing that is awful about this place is the lack of parking in the area, but that isn't on them so I won't take it out on their review! There is a handful of parallel parking but it usually is filled. The place is very easy to find and it is rather tiny inside with only a couple seats and a bunch outside. The doughnuts take up the entirety of both glass display cases and all the choices are wonderful! My favorite on has to be the strawberry shortcake! At roughly $4.00 it is well worth the cost! The thing is flaky, amazing and fills me up after eating a whole one! This place is wonderful and I would gain too much weight if it was any closer to me! They also have drinks! read more

I have been here twice now, they seem to be in a building where you have to pay for parking. I like their doughnuts and the fact that if they run out they will make you some more. Parlor Doughnuts was another great recommendation and definitely a must-stop while we were in the area! I was still stuffed from brunch, so I decided to grab a few donuts to take home for my family, and they absolutely loved them. I picked up the Turtle Truffle Cheesecake, Maple Bacon, Blueberry, and Lemon donuts. My personal favorite was definitely the Maple Bacon. The sweet and salty combo was perfection. No doughnut place should have the right to be this insanely amazing except for this place. The only horrendous thing about this place is how bad the parking around the area is. Other than that, nothing bad can be said about this place in my opinion. The staff always has a smile on their faces while they are busy running around getting orders pumped out and keeping the line moving efficiently and quickly! The windows housing the donuts are always stocked and the amount of the doughnuts they offer is insane! They have some awesome original flavors and others like maple bacon, turtle cheesecake and raspberry pistachio! The store also offers gluten free doughnuts if you are in need of those! The doughnuts are super flakey and layered wonderfully! At $3.95 a pop, its easily justifiable to get a dozen or more! My favorite of theirs as of now has to be the bourbon caramel which has a smooth bourbon glaze on top and rounds the flavor out perfectly! There is a nice little amount of seating and the place is very nicely lit and spacious to be able to sit and relax while eating or to take a little time to do some work you may need to do. At least not all the ones being advertised. I would say to have a smaller display of what is available so that it is more eye catching to a customer upon entry. Not a big deal breaker but there are people out there shy that do not ask questions if something is available or not - instead they might just walk out. With that said I can appreciate the doughnuts being made fresh to order vs one from the display area. They were all delicious. One little hiccup was my cup of coffee. I was waiting for it & when asked I don't believe they heard me & said "oh it's being made" while pointing to the back. They are the best with caring and being conscience of allergies. I am allergic to dairy and the dairy free donuts aren't even kept near the other donuts. They are packaged separate. Arrived to Flagler Village at lunchtime and the unpleasant Fort Lauderdale parking situation again is in full swing with Pay2Park only if you can first find a space. Fifteen minutes later, after circling the area a few times in the rain, I found a space near the parlor which is located below a rental apartment building providing convenience for tenants but a nightmare for hungry customers that just want to grab a donut or coffee. Upon entry it was empty of customers with a huge American flag as decor which I appreciated. Quickly noticed that only four flavors of big donuts were on display with a few mini types too. The clerk advised that the batches of donuts are made to order and he would make one fresh, although I took one of the premade Turtle doughnuts which I took togo. Offered cash but they were unable to provide change, not sure if the system was down or thats just the policy. They have a couple tiny cafe tables inside and a non-covered patio with a few tables and three benches but all were soaked due to the rain. I sat inside my vehicle with my treat and happily inhaled it. The interior cake was moist and the caramel glaze with a nutty crunch was awesome. Thumbs up for the doughnut but a two thumbs down for the parking headache. A 3.5 star rating. read more

My brother recently told me about this place so I wanted to see what it was all about. Specialty donuts? Now you're talking my language. There was plenty of stock later in the afternoon so I was able to pick the flavors I initially saw on their website. They don't mess around when it comes to variety. Of course there's classics like jelly filled & double chocolate but why not go all out?! They have s'mores, churro, strawberry shortcake, maple bacon, French toast & plenty more. When I took my first bite I was instantly a fan. You'll notice that their dough isn't like the typical consistency that you get with pretty much all yeast based donuts. I would best describe the texture like a cronut (croissant/donut). There's tons of layers that you really notice when biting into it. Different, yes. Delicious, also yes. I didn't get any drinks but I noticed they also offer a good variety of coffee beverages & teas. I'll definitely grab a latte or cold brew next time. The pricing is super fair for the quality. They're delicious & massive. Since they're very different than your standard donut I definitely think you get your moneys worth. So I'm a regular.. even have a loyalty , and only have to gripe about one thing. The double chocolate doughnut is never consistent.. because of this inconsistency I'm assuming that they do one of two things they get lazy and they find the donut with just a sugar topping and then they add the chocolate on top of that sugar. Came in for ONE donut and left with five and four minis. We got the cookies and cream, churro, raspberry pistachio, strawberry and cream, and cinnamon roll. For the minis we got two coconut, cinnamon, and raspberry filled. So far I've tried the pistachio, strawberry and coconut and they are to die for. The doughnut is light and airy, the glaze on top is perfectly sweetened and you just can't stop... so so so good. My husband also got a cappuccino to go, he said the coffee was delicious. The interior space is limited more like a grab and go place, though decorated in a unique way. But if you must sit down to enjoy a cup of coffee or your choice of refresher, they do offer indoor and outdoor sitting areas. Pet friendly, they do sell pup doughnuts. The doughnuts were tasty. We tried the honey glazed (our favorite, sweet but not too sweet), French toast (very good, but little too sweet for our liking), raspberry filled (iykyk), bourbon caramel (ok, but nothing inside flavor on top only), blueberry hill (I haven't tried it yet) But all of their doughnuts look scrumptious and perfectly prepared. Please give this place a try and let me know what flavor you ordered and what you thought of it! I do recommend this place to everyone to at least give it a try. Came here towards closing time, around 2:15pm on a Thursday. Pretty small place, but very nice and clean aesthetic. We ordered 2 seasonal donuts, the lemon blueberry cheesecake, and the peach cobbler. Along with a dog cookie and a small iced white chocolate blondie latte. The donuts are MASSIVE. They're flaky and crispy on the outside, but soft on the inside. Tastes similar to a toaster strudel. The peach cobbler was STUFFED with peach pie filling. Wasn't heavy or oily, was nice and light. The lemon blueberry cheesecake didn't have anything inside, not sure if thats a mistake or not because we didnt taste any lemon or cheesecake, but the blueberries were fresh! The iced latte was the best I've ever had, they even sprinkle some cookie crumbles of some sort on top. Sweet, but not too sweet, creamy and nice coffee flavor. A great way to beat the Florida heat! Parlor is such a treat! While it is a small place with hardly any seating, the energy in there is amazing. It seemed like a place where there are "regulars", and everybody knows your name. I first got there about 10 minutes before they started to serve savory donuts, so I ordered my coffee and got back in line. I decided to try the pistachio latte, not having high hopes that their coffee would be good, but I was wrong. I added an extra shot of espresso, and it was perfectly nutty and a little bit sweet. It was perfect. The donuts I picked were raspberry pistachio, blueberry, buffalo chicken, and pig and fig. The blueberry donut was the more flavorful of the 2 sweet ones, and the raspberry pistachio just tasted like the pistachio nuts from the top. The buffalo chicken was so good, and the buffalo sauce was fantastic. The pig and fig was sweeter than expected, but wow, so much flavor! I can't wait to return to try more! read more

I've been waiting for Parlor Doughnuts to open for over a year--literally. It's right in my neighborhood, at the bottom of the Eon building in Flagler Village, and I pass by it all the time on my walks. When they finally opened a couple of weekends ago, their IG showed lines wrapped around the building, so I decided to hold off... until today. Gloomy, rainy day? Perfect excuse to grab a treat and binge White Lotus at home. I took an umbrella and walked over, knowing exactly what I wanted: the Carnival--because the kid in me can never resist a classic vanilla glaze with sprinkles--and the Strawberry Shortcake. When I got there, both flavors were empty, but the guy helping me said no problem--he could grab more from the back. A minute later, I was in and out. And wow. These doughnuts are insane. Inside the restaurant is clean and airy and you are greeted by cases of freshly made donuts - the big gooey clumpy type of donuts, not the traditional donut with a hole in the center. The staff answered our initial questions about the type of donuts displayed. We selected the Sandy Beach (glazed with cinnamon) and the Turtle (topped with caramel, pecan bites and drizzle of chocolate). Our order was "to go" and the staff quickly boxed our order. We enjoyed our donuts at home with coffee. Even though, this is an excellent donut, the is price is a little steep at $3.95 a donut, so this will be the type of donut that we will have as an occasional treat. read more

Parlor Doughnuts was okay. And just okay. Some things were good, some things not. I'm glad I tried them once, but I wouldn't go out of my way to get them again. We got six donuts to try, which comes out to around $24. Overall, the texture of the donuts was soft and airy, but they all leaned too sweet. The best of the batch were the dreamsicle and the coconut cream donuts - these had a strong punch of flavor and were the only ones I'd consider ordering again. Maple bacon and french toast had a decent maple flavor, but maple bacon had an odd aftertaste, and I wouldn't want more than a bite of each due to the sweetness. Cookies and cream was just meh, and blueberry (typically one of my favorite flavors) was extremely underwhelming. It had zero berry flavor and was just sugar. In addition to the donuts, I got the cold brew (largely because I figured it'd be quicker than a latte, but we still had to wait a while). They must've put the oat milk in before the coffee, because it just kind of sat there at the bottom. When I asked for a straw, they said that they're strawless. Look - I get why places do the whole strawless thing, but honestly? There's a lot of reasons someone might want or need a straw, and I'm personally not a fan of that at all. Flavor-wise, the coffee was fine, but not worth an extra $5.75. The location is small, and I could see it getting very crowded. When we arrived at about 9:15 on a Sunday, there was a short line outside. It did move, but I'd avoid peak times for sure, and wouldn't really want to stay there to eat. Yummy Doughnuts! My husband dragged me here - I'm not a big doughnut fan but he LOVES doughnuts - and I gotta say these doughnuts were pretty darn good. I was impressed! Unlike traditional doughnuts that are so heavy and dense these doughnuts were lighter and had more flaky layers to them in the middle that made them absolutely delicious. It reminded me more of a cronut than a traditional doughnut. They weren't dense and heavy which I really liked and they had a great variety of different flavors to choose from.
