The Mochi Doughnuts were pretty good. The doughnuts are self-serve, and then you pay at the counter. The Oreo, Vietnamese Coffee, and Passionfruit were the best ones.

My BF has had this place marked for IDK how long... we were not to far from it this past weekend and he seized the opportunity to finally try it. We went with the idea of getting a box and trying several flavors. They had some savory pastries, and then lots and lots of different donuts. These are not your regular glazed donuts, these are stuffed, decorated, and an assortment of flavors donuts. They also have Mocchi donuts that look like flowers. We obviously had to try those and had some other stuffed with guava, strawberry cream cheese, dulce de leche. Then another one topped with caramelized sugar called Crème Brulee. I am not a person that loves donuts, but it was fun looking at all the selection they had and the dulce de leche one was delicious! We were on our way to another stop, so we were not able to try their corn dogs so, we are just going to have to go back.

Its a small cozy place to grab yourself a Korean corn dog or artisanal donuts that are extremely delicious! There is a wide variety of choices for both the donuts and the dogs. The staff is always friendly. Try the Creme Brulee donut or the Garlic and Cream Cheese bun while you're here.

Japanese inspired spot located in Stirling Road. Perfect place to indulge in some sweet treats and Japanese street food. Fun and casual spot perfect for the whole family. Great spot to satisfy your sweet tooth. Their mochi donuts have playful toppings like fruity pepples, nerds, creme brulee and seasonal flavors pumpkin spice and guava cheese. Self service pick your donut and pay at the counter. I tried the mango jelly donut was soft and chewy ton of mango jelly inside. Don't forget to try their Japanese crispy golden corn dogs for a great mozzarella cheese pull! Worth the visit.

Mama YaTai Donut is a popular shop with so many exciting flavors. I tried the strawberry and cream. It was fresh, sweet but not overly sugary. I Would definitely come back to get dessert when going to a party or to bring you a friends house. Kiera was one of the happiest staff members I've come across in a long time. You can tell she enjoys her job and believes in the product. The ambiance is good! The glass cases and colorful donuts are the best decor. It was a bit crowded but I didn't mind moving out of the way for others that wanted specific donuts.

This place is sooo cutesy! I loved the decor! The donuts were amazing! There were all kinds of favors. It is self service for the donuts so they you can pick and choose as many donuts as you want!

Was looking for a sweet treat and came across this little gem. Unfortunately it is true you should be there prior to closing so you can really get your drool on as they sell out and your limited at the end of the night. It was still a fun experience. We got Apple pie mochi donut, fruity pebbles mochi donut, ube filled donut, eggnog mochi donut, M&m donut. Theres some tables inside and cleanliness of the place was goo. It is self serve: start at one end and check out at the other. Overrall would absolutely come but 100% need to come earlier. For such a unique place $16 for 6 donuts (buy 5 get one free) and two water bottles is an absolute deal

It was my first time back in a year or two. I like the new self service where you pick the donuts yourself with some tongs. I really loved the white cherry blossom donut . It is my new favorite and I really recommend it. The store itself is beautiful inside. I hope they have garlic bagels next time I'm there so i can finally try it.

Really fun concept. You walk in and it's a wall of donuts you get to select yourself and place on a tray. It's a relaxed way to look through all the different options. You have to go earlier for the best ones in my opinion but all the donuts were super fresh and delicious. I got the half cheese and half hot dog corndog, so good if you've never tried. Nice fun outing!

Maple and bacon Matcha Oreo Chocolate Cherry blossom Strawberry
    Jennifer J.

My mom brought these from FL, since I love mochi donuts and each time I visit, I never get to stop by. To start off, the maple and bacon was pretty good. It was a little too sweet for my liking, but I do love bacon, so I enjoyed it. The matcha was one of my least favorites. I do love matcha, but wasn't a fan of the almond slices. I think it would've been better without. I really enjoyed the Oreo, since that's a flavor I love, so nothing wrong with that. The chocolate was also not a favorite of mine, but that's because chocolate donuts are my last choice in flavor. The cherry blossom one was pretty yummy and the rice paper flowers were fun to eat. And I do enjoy a strawberry flavored mochi donut, so this was one of the ones I liked. Overall, a pretty good group of mochi donuts. It was still chewy, but a little more dense than I like, but that could be due to the fact that they travelled from FL to TX.

This place is amazing! Fed 6 of us with $100. We had several of the Japanese corn dogs. The potato one with all cheese and extra sauce on the side was the favorite. The blue half dog half cheese was the least favorite. Of the 12 donuts we had, our favorites were the traditional crunchy caramel glaze, taro donut, and the ever so decadent creme brûlée donut. However, there are so many delicious ones. Try a variety! The ambiance is an anime fans dream. There are 2 tables of 6 and the rest are 4 and 2 seaters. The seating wasn't too limited as most people walk in and out for take out orders. We could probably go here every day for a year and would always be able to try something new. The variety is consuming. We wanted to try everything. They also have a great selection of unique and delicious sodas. We will certainly be back and eager to try out some more of their sweet and savory treats.

    Chicken Wing Skewer

I have been waiting to come here for so long! We came on a Saturday afternoon and it wasn't overwhelmingly busy. It has anime décor on the walls and a great playlist. I love the pretty pink flowers everywhere too. There were so many mochi donuts to choose from! We got a box of six and tried an ube bun, Vietnamese coffee, churro, caramel, taro, and black sesame. The black sesame was delicious and so was the taro and Vietnamese coffee. The chicken wing was large and covered in teriyaki sauce... very tasty! We had the half cheese/half hot dog corn dog, one covered with cheese puffs and the other covered in blue taki! They were really good! The blue taki was slightly better. The Vietnamese iced coffee were delicious with the condensed milk, they are sweet, but a great flavor of coffee. My favorite part was the tanghulu: basically a fruit skewer covered in melted sugar. It has a great crunch and the fruit is so sweet. We had the mix of fruit: grapes, orange, and strawberry.. very delicious and fun to eat. I took a ham and cheese roll (they are premade and you can buy them at the counter display) It was so buttery, soft and delicious. i had it for breakfast the next morning.

I love the mix of vietnamese and japanese culture at this place. The interior was also cooly designed and had such a large selection of mochi donuts - I loved the texture of them! Though I was not a fan of the vietnamese coffee donut it tasted slightly like used grounds of the viet coffee rather than the actual taste of viet coffee. Aside from that flavor, I have no compliants of the other mochi donuts. Similar to many mochi donut chains like mochinut, they do offer food options like hot dogs made to order and other small snacks + desserts. They didn't have that much seating so we ended up eating our donuts at the other MaMa store next to it while we had our other meal there (seems like its the same owners?)

Are the corn dogs or mochi donuts gluten free (or made without gluten ingredients)?

the restaurant needs to answer the question as some places mix in some wheat flour to alter the texture. the donuts appear to be the rice flour only type to me but the baker needs to tell us yes or no

She was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. The food came out quickly, and as always, it was absolutely delicious. This time, I ordered the Bún Đậu Mắm Tôm, and it was amazing. The tofu was perfectly crispy and crunchy on the outside while staying silky smooth on the inside. The portion is meant for two people, but it was so good I could have finished the entire platter by myself. Every bite was delicious. What impressed me the most was the level of customer service. I noticed a gentleman, who I believe was the manager, personally greeting guests at the door and shaking hands with customers he knew. He paid attention to every detail. Before my son had even put his empty water cup back on the table, he was already there refilling it. We originally came in to try their special menu duck ramen, but after seeing the strange blend of add-ins (including two kinds of eggs and corn), we decided to order from the regular menu. Sadly, the regular menu didn't fare much better. The sauce for the pad thai was too acidic and watery, and the chicken was dry. Our first gyoza order came out burnt, and the second offered extremely plain filling with dumpling skins that were thick and gummy. The negi toro roll wasn't the freshest I've ever had, and the texture of the rice was off. The Thai tea was too sweet, too. Things weren't inedible, but not a single dish was something I'd be happy to receive. I decided to finish my meal with one of my favorites: hotate/scallop. The nigiri is listed as 2pc and sashimi as 3pc. I went sashimi since I was relatively full. It was basically one a scallop cut into thirds. Misleading for sure but I expected something like this. What I did not expect was that the scallop was lightly seared. It gave the scallop like a char aroma. While it wasn't bad, it was not what I wanted. Now I know scallops here are a no go for me. Service was good. It was not very busy when I was there.
