I had to write another review because in December I was shopping for a party. I was in line had everything I needed. Then realized I forgot ice. The clerk let me stay in line and purchase the ice without re-waiting. Robbie the checker went and got another cart for me and put all 4 bags of ice in another cart and helped me out to my car since I had two carts. He loaded all the groceries in my car for me. I offered a tip to him and he would not take it. Yes it's a busy store, the shelves sometimes get empty due to the influx of people. Every time I come to Safeway I am greeting by friendly employees. Even the pharmacy staff rocks. They always get what I need in. Once I complained about the price of the prescription and they told me what to say to get the Doctor to re-write it for brand only. Instead of $60 per month I only pay $32. I love our local Safeway and it's the employees that deserve 5 stars! I would love a Safeway gas station in the area.
