Highly recommend. My Granddaughter held her wedding here and it was so sweet lovey food, and atmosphere indoor and out.

The Rooster Saloon - Fajita wrap with fries

The Rooster Saloon was a lively spot on a Saturday evening for our group of six. We were able to…read moreget a table shortly after walking in, although they seemed to be close to capacity, so there may be a wait during peak times. Our server was super sweet and everything on the menu sounded delicious. It's mostly typical bar fare, but they have some unique items like their Cluckin' chips and an emphasis on pickles. We got pickle chips and chips and salsa to start - the pickle chips were awesome! Super crispy and thinly sliced. I really liked these, and everyone else loved the chips and salsa as well. I ordered the chicken fajita wrap with fries and Nate got the pickle chicken wrap with Cluckin' chips. Our food was all hot and fresh when it hit the table, and I loved the chunks of peppers and onions along with tender chicken in the fajita wrap. The fries were just okay - I loved the Cluckin' chips though. They're the longer curly chips that you sometimes see at fairs. We ended the evening with a round of $2 mystery shots... you roll a dice and get whatever shot corresponds with that number. I still have no idea what I drank, but it was a fun experience. I would definitely come back for more food and drinks next time I'm at Lake Chippewa!

The workers are always rude and I will not be coming here again

I had intended to try pasta Alla Norcina which I noticed last visit but the told me it's on the winter menu (I think that they were on the Spring menu). I spoke with the manager and he said to come back in two weeks and they will switch to the summer menu and that it contains his favorite pasta dish. We started talking about the Pasta Alla Norcinia and I told him my relatives are from Norcia Umbria and that I've made it several times. I told him I use Italian sausage and the manager said that the chef uses actual wild boar sausage. He said the chef has amazing connections for ingredients like this. They also have a full time pastry chef on staff and all their deserts are home made. I was informed that the chocolate ganache cake has had the longest run on the menu and never seems to come off so I tried that. It was delicious There are several items on the menu that I have to try. I took a few pictures of the Spring menu and I've added them below. The gulf shrimp is on my radar and I need to try the venison burger. I just need to get past the gyro lamb burger with tzatziki. It's just so good.

Echoing the same for my 2nd visit. I travel a lot for work and finding a gem like Wood Shop Social is such a treat--it's definitely a couple cuts above the ordinary and very delish. The menu is creative and seasonal. I ordered a strawberry and crostini with burrata and even the crostini was just perfectly done which a lot of restaurants do not do well. Risotto is often screwed up in restaurants and it was perfectly perfect. Love it here.
