To give you a better visual - think 'ladies who lunch' but with the tone that matched women who discussed men like they were at a bar rather than an upscale tea room. I found their conversation inappropriate, immature and rude. They spoke loudly enough for perhaps a third of the room to hear. We ended up buying two as gifts for my MIL (although I wish I bought some for myself as well) and they were just £20 for the two of them, which I felt was such a great deal for handmade candles. There were many other people browsing the shops with us, but it wasn't too crowded and we had so much fun seeing everything displayed.
