I let him know that I didn't have any knowledge of how the house-buying process works, but he was incredibly supportive and assured me he would walk me through every step. Shortly after we finished talking on the phone, he sent me a list of items to provide for the pre-approval letter. Trung's turnaround was quick. I sent him my information in the evening and got the letter the next morning. My real estate agent used this letter to draft the offer...it was accepted! After my offer was accepted, the rest of the process was somewhat nebulous, but my real estate agent worked closely with Trung to help me through. Trung was with me every step of the way. He patiently explained how my monthly mortgage payment and closing costs were calculated and even helped me negotiate a home insurance offer. He even kept a close eye on the market and advised me when I should lock in the rate. I thought home buying would be more stressful, but it wasn't as bad as I thought because Trung made every step clear and was very on top of deadlines. From pre-approval to loan closing, it took just one month! Thank you Trung for being so diligent and patient in helping me secure my dream home! We were given the runaround for two weeks, and it became clear that the staff is not properly trained to handle sensitive documents or communicate with customers in a professional way. The way some of the employees spoke to us made the entire company feel questionable at best. We attempted to speak with the manager multiple times. On the one or two occasions we actually reached her, we decided to give the company another chance -- but the same unprofessional behavior continued. From day one, it has been a complete circus. If you are a licensed foster parent, be prepared for even more delays. They clearly do not understand how non-taxable income works, which is extremely concerning for a business that is supposed to understand finances. The Long Beach location specifically was a horrible experience. Maribel needs to seriously improve her management skills, and Brian and Senator need proper training in both customer service and financial processing. I will never recommend this place to anyone.
