The cutest coffee house with the BEST energy. Delicious drinks, food, plenty of seating and cute gifts to buy for both locals and tourists. The owner is SO friendly, and the staff is efficient and helpful. Ample street parking around, great location. Indoor and outdoor seating. Clean bathroom as well. Definitely a must visit if you're in Eastport!

The produce section is also quite large, and they nearly always have watercress! Again, some prices are rather higher than Lidl or Aldi, but definitely a much bigger selection. Another advantage of King Kullen is the deli. They have Boar's Head and a store brand, and good sale prices. I did have to wait at the counter for a bit until someone turned around and saw me. Another employee fled into the back when I approached the counter. Weird. I got a pound of turkey and a half pound of Swiss. The ready-made meatballs looked delicious, but nobody could tell me if they were made with breadcrumbs. Disappointing. I'm pretty sure that the big Italian meatballs do have breadcrumbs, but there were small teriyaki meatballs that might have been gluten-free. Couldn't risk it, though. Idk why they don't have ingredient lists. It's a large, bright, very clean store. Shelves are well-stocked and organized. Employees are helpful, although the fish guy seemed very surprised when I asked if they ever had fresh salmon burgers. He said they had frozen. In a box. Ah well. I can make them at home. GF breadcrumbs, fresh salmon, and Old Bay, in the food processor. Yum! King Kullen is also the only nearby source for Chobani coffee yogurt, so that's another reason to go.

It's great to shop in a full sized supermarket with a wide assortment of products again. It's a no er set up than Lidl, but also more expensive. The familiar brands are a plus. Not sure if the prices are good or not, but they're an improvement over Manhattan. Haven't tried the butcher or deli yet. Stay tuned.

WOwwwwww,, I have never waited so long in my life for a damn chicken tortilla wrap and a sub!!!…read more First off, when we walked in, there was only ONE customer waiting for his sandwich. The girl behind the counter was no where to be found. She sees us and just ignores us while she is walking around in the back of the store. It wasn't until after about 5-6 more people walk in after us does another worker suddenly appear out of nowhere. What I don't get is that, why didn't the first worker get someone to help take orders and START making the food in the first place when she saw that customers were piling in????? Anyways, we order and and the lady takes our order without writing it down and proceeds to help other customers and it was only when the other customers were helped did they begin to make our sandwiches. Keep in mind, we have already been waiting 20 minutes just to get their attention!! We probably waited ANOTHER 15 minutes for our subs to come out. My friend's chicken wrap was COLD and was missing half the ingredients. She asked for no tomatoes and off course, there were tomatoes since they never wrote down our orders. The size of the wrap was TINY for the price and certainly did not take 20 minutes to make unless they were actually slaughtering the chicken in the back! They charge over $2.50 for mini Simply Orange Juice and Minute Maid Lemonade, which is ridiculous.. Granted, this is the Hamptons and off course, the prices would be jacked up 40-50% and I don't mind paying the extra money if the service was at least attentive but come on, I don't think the service could get any worse here!

Sorry to ruin your day/summer. As for the store itself, it stocks all the essential items one might need renting a house out in the Hampton's. Beer, chips, beef jerky and marshmallows.

Still no actual bread that I could find, but the tortillas are wrap size! And not bad. BUT: their prices are much better than King Kullen, especially for produce. Which has seriously gone up. We all know why *rolls eyes* The produce selection is okay, not amazing. But they had everything I needed. One thing I do like about Lidl is the limited-time, well-priced specials. Especially cheese and sauces. They sometimes have very unique cheeses and other items. Currently, they have glow-in-the-dark Oreo cookies, Tate's pumpkin spice cookies, and pumpkin and caramel Oui yogurt. I can't eat the cookies, and the yogurt is fattening, but it was fun to see them. Lidl also sells odd assortments of ugly clothes and shoes, and occasionally useful housewares. I bought an emergency iron for $18! The box was open and damaged, but the iron works well. Service is mostly friendly. There don't seem to be many employees. The store is very bright, which is excellent for examining produce for spots, and they also have plants at much lower prices than King Kullen. I bought two African violets for $2.99 each! This store is farther away than King Kullen, but the savings on produce alone are worth the drive. I also got two jars of ricotta, red pepper, and pesto sauce. Never saw that combo before!

We checked Lidl out for the first time today. Prices were really low. Produce was really inexpensive. So was chicken. The set up is rudimentary. There are a lot of Lidl branded products there. This won't be our one and only supermarket, but it gets the job done for staples.

My wife ordered a salad and I ordered a grilled chicken wrap and with a couple of waters came to over $50. But the cost wasn't even the issue. The chicken in my wrap was cold and the cheese wasn't melted. It's not hard to cook a chicken wrap but if you take it off the grill before anything gets hot its really bad. Ok so I'm moving on thinking I messed up and ordered the wrong thing. Before we leave I head for the bathroom as my hands are all sticky from the cold chicken dripping on them and I want to wash up. It seems occupied as there is an indicator on the door. I wait about 5 minutes and then I jiggle the handle on the door once to make sure there really is someone in the bathroom and if there is, to let them know someone is waiting. In my view at a busy crowded fast food type restaurant like Goldberg, long stays in the one bathroom for all could be considered a bit selfish. Ok so after I jiggle the door once I wait a few more minutes and who pops out but the woman from behind the counter who took my order and didn't know how to make a chicken wrap. I was flabbergasted when she rudely and loudly says to me that if the indicator says its occupied then it is. So she was annoyed I jiggled the door handle once? Seriously? There's one bathroom for everyone, why were you in there for 10 minutes during a peak period? And you talk to a customer like that? You need to get a life. Looking at the many other negative reveiws here seems bad manners, bad food and bad service are the norm for this Goldberg's. I will definitely avoid my next time in Westhampton.
