Dark chocolate raspberry was a favorite, it was fantastic! I believe they rotate their flavors quite often, so expect variety and ingenuity when you drop by for a scoop. Towards the end of our afternoon in the Village of Greenport, Amazing Flavors hit the spot. Amazing Flavors captures the Greenport spirit. The business operates in a quaint historic building off Front Street (State Route 25) that gives me the impression that is was a house prior to 1930, when Amazing Flavors supposedly opened. It blends in with the charming landscape of the Village of Greenport Business District abutting Greenport Harbor. Inside, when you walk in the door, the environment is charming and upbeat. There is a Merry go round that captures the joy of the famous Antique Carousel across the street. Nearby is a child's ride-on horse and arcade games. Throughout this historical interior are several pictures and flavors of Hershey's ice cream flavors presented in a few display cases. This includes sugar free which my dad said tasted really good. Although this was Hershey's ice cream and not home made, I was satisfied with my cone of strawberry ice cream. The service was solid. To me the service talked through the upbeat environment. The pictures, merry go round, and historic ambiance with a sloped white ceiling holding ceiling fans, provided the unique experience representative of Greenport, New York. read more

Very cute and quaint little spot for some delicious treats! We tried the vegan ice cream, the cookies and cream or Oreos flavor and the cookie dough! Both delicious and I love that they were both vegan! They also had baked good which included vegan options! The service was good, I believe it's a family owned business so I love to support local businesses! We sat outside in these little round tables with just enough space to enjoy our ice cream cones! Rude. The pina colada smoothie tasted like nothing. Twent dollars for two flavorless drinks was not worth it. So i asked politely to exchange them. Normally I would just drink the drink but this was just really awful. The girl behind the counter kept giving me the evil eye and when i said thank you she just stared at me with a rude expression. The gentleman and young lady working Saturday August 3rd were very rude. A group of 4 people walked in around 10pm, one of which visited a few hours ago. I asked to sample flavors (two different coffees vs two different caramels) the gentleman said we only allow sampling of 3 flavors when I only had 2, so he should definitely do his job correctly before calling out a customer meanwhile the young lady rolled her eyes at us. The most important takeaway for me was the hospitality and kindness of the staff. I arrived on a quiet night not realizing they were preparing to close. It would have been reasonable to say they closing, but without hesitation a hot chocolate was whipped up and they were so sweet about it. The hot chocolate was a perfect balance of nostalgic sweet chocolate with a gourmet touch that made it delicious. I grabbed a brownie at the last minute and was so glad i did. The brownie was fresh, soft on the inside, and moist. Would absolutely order this again and I am excited to try their other baked items. It was just a hot chocolate and brownie, but it warmed me up on a chilly night and their kindness made my night. Awesome little place with great people. read more

This spot was a great little shop to provide us options for dessert later in the evening (they're open until 10pm on a street in which everything seems to close at 8:00). I was craving ice cream after dinner, and my boyfriend is always up to indulge my ice cream habit (and, to be fair, his own) so we wandered into Amazing Flavors. We each got a scoop of ice cream in a cup. I was curious about the almond content (I have an allergy) in one of the flavors, and they lifted the giant carton of ice cream from the display and handed it to me to read the ingredients. Different tactic, but all good. We took our ice cream to a nearby bench and ate near the harbor. It was a great choice. read more
