We stopped in for lunch after being at the Venice, Audubon Society rookery. (yes you should go there.) It was a little hard to find in a strip mall, but look for the sign advertising Reuben sandwiches beside an ice cream shop. We were warmly greeted as we came in and told to see it ourselves. We soon had water and placed our orders. We both ordered the special of the day: any hamburger and a side for $10. We both got Patty melts - - I had fries and hubby had onion rings. I asked for my burger to be medium well which it was and hubby wanted, medium rare but it was a little more done than that. There weren't many onion rings, but they were very tasty. The fries were good as well. We took home almost a full burger. It's a nice little diner and you get what you expect you would at an establishment like this. read more

We got the corned beef sandwich and the Philly. The ear winner was the Corned Beef. We still have to try the Pastrami. Our next trip will include this for sure! This place is a great value and delicious. read more

When visiting Venice last year, this little place was so good, we made sure to return during our visit this year. Today we enjoyed a Reuben and a BLT. Both are big enough to be shareable and they live up to their respective descriptions. The friendly staff and food skills definitely merit a return visit. This time I tried Sweet Spot 941's Coconut Cream Pie. Wow, what a treat. read more

Famous for their Ruben sandwiches often times selling 150 a day makes this a place to head out too. Primarily a sandwich shop they serve the daily lunch crowds a variety of dishes,Including NY style Corned beef and pastrami sandwiches , Philly Cheese Steak, onion rings Fries and assorted drinks. Came here tonight for their $10 Reuben Sandwiches. Nice little restaurant at the end of a strip plaza. The tables inside even have tablecloths with cushioned chairs. The Reuben sandwiches were delicious. So we're the onion rings and tater tots. Service was spot on. We will definitely come back and try other menu items. This guy knows how to make a sandwich! Whenever we don't feel like cooking (which is often) we get whatever their daily special is to-go since we live really close by. They're always friendly, the food is always ready, hot and plentiful. The only thing we wouldn't order again is the grouper reuben, we just feel like their other sandwiches are way better. We only ate inside the restaurant once, it's really nothing special inside. read more

Ordered the Reuben- so tasty! Perfectly toasted bread, meat was lean and thinly shaved, perfect amount of thousand island. Service was quick and friendly too. Very comfortable chairs in the dining room. We will definitely be back. read more

I liked this place ok. They didn't have the chicken parm sandwich available, so I ordered the mild Italian sausage sandwich instead. The sausage was smashed thin and more spicy than sweet Italian sausage is. The fries were tasty, though not hand cut. He said the pastrami sandwich was excellent. Service was quick, and the decor tries to be elegant. read more

Very clean! Very friendly staff! A nice little family run spot! This family formerly had a food truck that parked in the Lowes parking lot-and have now opened a restaurant at this location. We tried their self proclaimed "worlds best Rueben"and it was good! We would definitely get it again! We also had the crab cake sandwich and it was good as well! We went to this establishment a couple of years ago shortly after opening and loved the quality of the food and service. We went again today to get their special which was grouper wrap or grouper Reuben. A lot of eating establishments are looking to save money by not changing oil as often as necessary for good tasting food . Both our meals were not up to par, unfortunately, not looking to return soon. The decor is attractive and service was very good, several diners were enjoying themselves I am sure. Just not our day. We went for the Reuben special tonight. And it was delicious! Will definitely go back. It had a generous amount of corned beef and just the right amount of sauerkraut. For $10.00 and included a side. Every day they have a $10.00 special. The service was great our waitress was very friendly and mentioned that this Friday was their one year anniversary so everything on the menu will be $10.00. Thurs night is BURGER night & I'm a Party Melt fan- Local 941 is my go to. A great Patty Melt should have a 'crispy bread' on both sides and they deliverSoggy wet bread ruins both a Patty Melt and a Rueben but no soggy bread here. Our server was the delightful Haley and we spotted Mom, Dad, brother, even Grandma & Grandpa ... can we say family owned and run. We went here right after they opened, day 2 or 3. You could tell right away this was a family run business. Waitress took very good care of us. My wife got a burger and fries and I had a corned beef sandwich with onion rings. When the food was presented, you could tell it was made with care. Plates were neat and sandwiches presented very well. Both were cooked as requested and tasty. My only negative were the fries and rings were frozen. I enjoy fresh cut so much more. read more

A pleasant surprise! A simple concept, sandwiches, salads, wraps, and bowls. We shared a Reuben and a Philly Steak, both winners. The Reuben had the marbled rye and generous meat and the Philly Steak had peppers and onions, as it should, and cheese. The bread on the Philly was a little soft, I prefer a crisper crust but that didn't take away anything from the meat. Really a great sandwich. Service was fast and friendly, our waitress was very attentive. Ambiance? They have tablecloths! Changed after each service! Wow! Who would expect a sandwich "joint" to have tablecloths, nice touch.
