It's really more of a 3.5 then a 4 But the waitress was super chill and very nice and we were watching a sport I have never seen before which is always interesting. The food is where the disappointment started it came out everything looked great tots where crispy and good then I ate the colossal burger and it basically tasted like nothing it was ok but the meat had zero flavor the beer cheese had little to no flavor and the fries just disappeared so it was pretty disappointing. July 22 2023, 3 for a late dinner after a l-o-n-g day at a Venice hospice house nearby. (the family member died the next day) This is a great spot for hangin' out, catching a little live music, getting all kinds of beer and drinks and have a great time........ parking was free and plentiful!!!! An awesome thing especially on Venice Island. We came for some food. And while they have a variety of things, service is great, the lace is interesting, clean, and the décor is festive and fun, the food was basic bar food. Not horrible, but basically a Five Guys or Walburger with lots of beer. My wife and daughter got a mushroom swiss burger and a cheddar burger both with fries. Okay burgers, not a great product, cooked nicely, served hot, a bit greasy all around and a wet rolls that was just ok. Fries also a bit dark and oily. They were not hot when they arrived. 5/10 I got a veggie burger with some grilled onions, peppers, and mushroom's. The whole meal was not hot when it arrived and it was very greasy/oily. The onions, peppers, mushrooms were glistening in grease/fat. The burger was I am not sure what? very fine ground something? Not beans, not Impossible meat, not anything I could identify as the only flavor was the cool grease coating? 4/10 In a nutshell, seems like a great hangout spot, and great for sports and drinking etc. But not a foodie destination. read more

We are here on a Sunday at 11 am shortly after opening. There was no wait. They have indoor and outdoor seating. It is a great place for a large party and dog friendly. It was clean and nicely decorated. The menu has plenty of options. We ordered the garlic and herb cheese curds to start. They were tasty but on the greasier side. I ate the patty melt with coleslaw. I enjoyed both. The coleslaw was sweet with pineapple and cranberries. My husband had the colossal burger. It was overcooked but he still enjoyed the taste. The nacho cheese was delicious. He got the coleslaw as well and liked it. My son had the boneless wings and mac and cheese. The boneless wings were great- a light breading and tasty buffalo sauce. While on my trip this week I yelped burger places close to me and found this little gem. I can say that in the summer it would be even more amazing with the roll.up garage doors to mix inside and outside. Wait staff was young and energetic and ready to help! The menu is smaller but packed with great burgers and sandwiches. I had a breakfast burger woth American cheese, bacon and an egg which I found to be cooked perfectly and my buddy had a chili dog that was equally great. If you are choosing between BrewBurger's and this location, Back Porch, make the drive to Brew Burger's near 75. This was our first time to Back Porch and while they were extremely busy without enough help they did the best they could but there was hair in my food and the bacon on my BLT was basically raw. We were visiting Venice and happened upon this place. It had good reviews and we thought we'd like to have a great burger for dinner. Boy, were we surprised! The menu had so much variety, neither of us ordered a burger! I had the pork schnitzel sandwich with homemade potato chips, and the hubby had the French Dip with fries. Both were OUTSTANDING! The schnitzel sandwich was dressed with a mustard & bacon sauce that was soooo smoky and just really delicious. The French dip was loaded with a huge pile of shaved steak and the hubby said the Aujus was very rich in flavor. One thing we really loved about the food was it was seasoned perfectly! No need for salt or pepper whatsoever. That's a sign of a great chef. Our bartender, Liz was just so bubbly, very attentive and drinks never went empty. The restaurant and restrooms were immaculately clean. If we lived here, this place would definitely be on a regular rotation for us. Gotta give this place a 5/5! read more

We choose this place due to location and the menu looked family friendly. The restaurant has ample parking and my kids liked the décor and thought it looked fun. The wait staff was average. Nothing particularly stood out here. The burgers were lackluster. I'm not sure if they maybe forgot to season it but it just tasted like straight ground beef Pattie's. They were quite greasy so it's at least a 70/30 patty but unfortunately all we could taste was ground beef and grease. My kids both mentioned it tasted off and I think it was the lack of seasoning since I tasted theirs to make sure it was safe after their comments but he flavor was the same as our burgers and just had a greasy flavor and lacking seasoning. The menu had a lot f options so i hope we just ordered the two worst burgers but id be hesitant to go back as the problem was with the patty itself vs the toppings. Tip: Ask for the pickles! One of my kids loved the pickles so much we ordered 4 more spears for them. For any beer drinkers I noticed several beers on tap so could be a great meet up place for groups, the restaurant is large and could hold a large group easily, plus the parking lot is shared by a grocery store so there's ample parking for larger groups as well. read more

Delicious burger I had earlier looked over the menu, BrewBurgers offers a large list of burgers and 'not quite burgers', and I decided on the Black & Blue Burger. Blue cheese is one of my favorite burger toppings. BrewBurgers did not disappoint. The burger was delicious, the blue cheese topped off what was a very juicy sandwich. As I wrestled with keeping the whole thing together, I didn't notice the flavor of the blackened spices, but I peeked inside and saw they had been included. I got their homemade chips as my side, crunchy but could have used salt, another of my favorite ingredients. The food was great, and fast. My server was also pleasant and good. I tended to keep to myself this visit and didn't engage in much conversation, but all the typical server stuff happened without issue. Other reviews mention this BrewBurgers is located in a strip mall, a non-descript place over by Publix. I found the inside to also be non-descript. It was worn but clean, a few TVs and oldies music. Corrugated steel made up one of the walls. I suppose I expected more of a sports bar feel with drinking as popular as eating. The only drink part I noticed was several taps hanging in a row from a pipe from the ceiling. As for me, I was there for the food, and that was a 5 star lunch. read more
