Here's what makes it special: The nursing room (as a mom who used to nurse, this is AMAZING). I don't usually gush over a room, but this one deserves its own paragraph. It's spotlessly clean, private, and has a comfy rocking glider, a wall-mounted changing station with safety straps, a sink with soap and sanitizer, tissues, and even a TV. There's a "vacant/occupied" slider on the door so you get real privacy. Nursing and pumping moms, you will feel taken care of here. Clean, clean, clean. The whole facility is immaculate. You can tell they genuinely care about upkeep. Come on time! They close for an hour between play sessions and actually turn the lights off--which I love, because it gently encourages the "I want to stay forever" kids that it's truly closed. Smart and considerate. Something for every age. Older kids get a Ninja course and a play area, and the littles have their own HUGE dedicated section. I've never seen anything like it--the space is incredible. Snacks & drinks for the grown-ups too. Coffee, energy drinks, sparkling waters, juices, Gatorade, plus kid snacks like applesauce, Cheetos, and more. They thought of everything. I HIGHLY recommend this place. We will absolutely be back!

There's a cute selection of food and snacks available as well as juice boxes and water. There's a good separation between toddlers and big kids play spaces in the toddler section is equally as large as the big kid play area which is unique to this facility. The museum itself is incredibly hands-on and interactive. My kids could have stayed all day. The water play area was a huge hit (bring a change of clothes or use the smocks they provide), and the construction zone with life-size building blocks kept them busy for ages. I loved that it's set up in a way where kids can explore independently but parents can still keep an eye on them easily. The staff was friendly and kept things clean, which I appreciated since little ones are touching everything. The whole museum is very family-friendly, with spaces for toddlers as well as older kids, so no one feels left out. Another bonus: since it's inside the larger Museum Center, you can easily combine your visit with the Natural History Museum or an IMAX show. Parking was simple, and there are food options inside, though we chose to pack snacks. Overall, it's the perfect place for kids to play, learn, and burn off energy--rainy day or not. Highly recommend for families in Cincinnati or anyone visiting the city!

There are areas and stations for all age groups. Plus a nice area for snacks if needed. It's fun to see the museum is still as fun and fresh as it was when I was a kid. Our go to for rainy days!
