They made me feel so welcome and comfortable. I felt like we were old friends! They spent time showing me around, explaining their different events throughout the year and invited me back for open Knitting Thursday night. The store had some of the best displays, samples and pattern ideas I have ever seen in a shop. They had many sweaters knit up and labeled which were put in a 20 Sweater Idea workbook. The book contained pictures and all the information for those same sweaters. To help you make one of those sweaters, you can sign up for the workshop for a fee of $50. You can get all the help you need to finish. They have different times during the week scheduled that you can come in and get all the help you need to get the project done for that particular sweater you're making. That continues until you have finished the sweater. Their philosophy is they want to help everyone finish without having to worry about making it to all of the classes for a project, such a good idea - strictly scheduled classes are sometimes hard because you might not be able to make it to all the classes and then you're stuck. They were getting ready for Christmas and they had the best idea! They have at least 27 small Christmas items to either knit or crochet, made as samples for the store with a little picture and number next to each one. Then they have a book with each project listed by number with the pattern and a list of supplies that are needed. What a very creative idea! I wish I lived closer. I would be there every week. The vibe is so, energetic and enthusiastic.Laughter abounds and you can tell the staff all get along so well and enjoy what they're doing!!

I figured there would be instruction and tips and an open forum for questions. And I believe there was all of that, however, nothing that I could actually hear. The woman instructing was very sweet and friendly and put in a bad situation where the room that she reserved was not available or some failing occurred. Everyone should have been given the choice to re-schedule as no one at our table could hear anything. We were asked often if we could hear and every time I shook my head indicating I could not hear but yet she still spent all her time at the other table with a few attempts to come closer to our table when a question/answer session started. It became SO frustrating not being able to hear that I tuned out hoping we'd get home in Time for the sitter, wishing I could just get the supplies and finish in my comfortable, quiet home with no equines within 6 feet of me. NOT the relaxing, enjoyable, therapeutic experience we were hoping for and next time we will spend the 11$ (the fee ON TOP of Groupon pricing you will get charged) on a similar planted/Halloween plant at Michaels Regarding the woman that tried to teach this class I feel bad for her as she may not know how to handle these unexpected situations and may be limited in what she can offer but this was unacceptable.... We were forced to be a bigger part of the bar experience then we would have liked. We got there about 8 minutes late and she checked our names but other people at the table were musing how anyone could have taken their seat as their Groupon was never checked...and we were in the middle of a bar. The people at my table were complaining about the 11$ fee on top of the Groupon fee... young professionals feeling like they got ripped off isn't a way to inspire repeat business... IF THERES A FEE include it in a higher Groupon price so people don't go into it feeling ripped off or leaving feeling even worse when the experience was a failure. I had forgotten that fee but the young professionals had not. It allows you to check out a place you might otherwise have never visited which makes it super easy to surprise someone. Guys, make the reservations online and take your lady out to dinner or for drinks and surprise her when the painting party starts! Our facilitator was Rachel and she was awesome. She dumbed it down enough that even I felt like I was doing okay! The fact that they visit different places to hold the parties is probably the reason why there are so few reviews here but the night I went if we had all reviewed there would be twenty more 5 star reviews on here. We all had a good time and it was fun meeting new people and going outside my comfort zone to do something new. Will definitely do this again!

It was fantastic. They carry awesome jewelry, t-shirts, tea towels, notecards and custom wrapping paper all designed by local artists. And I wanted to buy it all. (I didn't.) This is a great place to find something to treat yourself or a lovely gift for a friend. And it is located between Deeper Roots coffee and Aglamesis Brothers ice cream shop, so you can get all kinds of good things while you're in the neighborhood.

I mean, you see monogramming companies all over the internet, but rarely can you find a place where you can actually see the items before you purchase and have your initials placed on it. They have three separate areas, but the store isn't large by any means. The front area is where the baby items are. I know what and where I'm going to get the gift for the next baby shower that I attend. The middle area is where the wooden monogrammed door hangers and other ready to pick and purchase, are located. For just a bit over $30 we scored a door hanger. It was prepainted and accessorized with burlap. The back area was where the clothing, robes, and other monogrammable items were. You know, the kind of items and every southern gal has at least one of with her initials on it? This is where you can get yours too.
