It was 1:45 pm there were 3 people ahead of me . saw these Lucious looking glazed donuts hanging on a wood rod . Get to the front of line only 2 donuts remaining ...last ones. First, the good, the people were friendly and fast! No complaints there. However, if you're craving a soft pretzel, this is not the place. Instead of a nice chewy pretzel, with a dark golden brown crust...these are like pretzel-shaped, under-done bread sticks, with a side of cold, canned queso. I was so disappointed. read more

We headed our way to Junction City today to go to Locals because of the rave reviews it has gotten. There was a bit of a line, but a much bigger one after we arrived, but it went quickly. We got two pretzels and a half dozen donuts. The pretzels were warm so it was a bonus. They were soft and buttery with the right amount of salt. We chose the cheese and honey mustard for dipping. The honey mustard is packaged and not made from scratch, but does have a kick. The cheese was a better choice. The donuts were big and soft as can be and one of the best donuts I have had in the area. The staff was extremely friendly and made the experience pleasant. Overall, a definite must try and will be back... Many, many more times. read more

Awesome cart that we've visited twice this month! Located on Saturdays at the Junction City Tractor Supply, looks like a family or close friends that run it and cook. The glazed are the standard and are constantly being made and dipped, they are huge, warm and melt in your mouth! Like. Krispy Kreme when hot but even better. the first time we went we tried the pretzels also, so chewy with a nice crust they had honey mustard and a cheese sauce to dip (and another one I believe) but I prefer regular mustard so I got that at home. They also had pretzel dogs and were fantastic!! I liked that they were a reasonable size, not huge like the other items. These also seemed to be very popular and caused some back ups. Today we went to get donuts and the specials were a cinnamon sugar dusted donut and a peanut butter version that had what I believe are Reese's peanut butter cup crumbles on top of a whipped pb frosting. My son got that one. It I haven't heard a review yet! The other two were just as good as the other week. They take cash and card, the line is outside is not covered. The glazed and cinnamon were $4, 3 for $8, 6 for $15 and I think a dozen were $28. Totally worth it!! read more

Wetzel's pretzels who?!?! Not really sure who they are in anymore when I'm devouring Locals pretzel in my mouth. The flavor of their pretzel has a hint of sweetness, the softness, didn't need tons of salt like the others, just WOW. When you dip it in the cheese it turns it up a notch, you get the little kick of spicy and then the sweet. Reminds me of my favorite pizza combo pineapple and pepperoni. I love that they are a food truck because they aren't always there, so it's a special treat when you see them in the Albany Bi-Mart parking lot. I love that they spread their yummy goodness to all of OR and not just Albany, OR. Now to their donut, same as a pretzel, super soft and fresh. Lots of sweet flavor, you would think, BLEH a plain donut. NO! Just the opposite, it doesn't need the extra. Because I love it just the way it is. The service is quick and easy. They accept cash or card. Three people were working and they were fast getting people their orders. They did have some Valentines specials but this was my first time and I was coming home to my family at work and at school. So no need to share my pretzel and donut. Me and my partner went here on a whim and it was great. The people working were friendly and the service was super quick for a food truck. The glazed donuts were some of the best I've had- airy and sweet, but not so sweet it hurts your teeth. The pretzels were lovely, especially with the cheese. Second time! We went in person this time. There was a bit of a line but worth the wait. A dozen donuts, three pretzels and two pretzel dogs. The pretzel dogs were excellent but they were out of the cheese dip. Marinara dip was good but the cheese is better. It's mild nacho cheese dip. Fresh, clean, and quick! Absolutely rad grub again! We discovered this food truck in Albany one weekend, wondering what the line of people was there for. They make the best homemade donuts and also soft pretzels with choice of dipping sauces. Then we discovered also that they come to Eugene and Junction City one day a week each location...lines there as well. But you won't find fresher, soft, warm pretzels like these anywhere else.
